  Hello

  When I turn off my laptop the fan starts to spin then and during a night, it drains the battery from 100% to 0. I also have some problems of marketing. If the computer is in sleep mode itself or by me, I can't wake up, need button for 10 seconds and then push again and it starts. When turned on, it works perfectly but has these problems. I read somewhere that the resolution of these problems has been to remove the software intel from my computer and I did. It helped but 2 days computer started having these problems again. My system is Windows 7 64 bit. This problem started after that I have somehow left fully charged computer asleep on the charger for about 2 hours. When I came back fan was spinning and the right side of the laptop was hot. Again, battery life is great and computer has no defects during the work (all tests by dell are passed). What can you suggest me to do?

  I have a Dell system 325 legacy I need to restore.  It does not start.  Where can I get the original replacement with Phoenix ROM chips more version 1.10 X 48 BIOS (January 1988).   The system is CPU 80386 Version A01 - 034 a 80387 coprocessor.  The chips are two 28 pin DIP ROM (ROM 0 and 1 of ROM).  There are stickers on the chips:

  P/N 1 20852
  Rev A01 4 - W15

  I think I need only the BIOS file and replacement chips and someone for their flash?

  I installed a new hard drive in the laptop second hand - it is recognized in the Bios/devices. Now, try to install the operating system of the reader of cd, but when starting message appears "no devices found startup, press F1 etc." Diagnosis don't identify any problems.   I'm new on the Forum site.     We are currently testing the Dell Business Reporter tool.    I am a 10 month at a client project, and we have very specific needs, we strive to fill for the customer.    We would like to find someone to customize settings for us in the Enterprise Reporter tool to create 2 different types of reports in Windows 2003 / 2008 mixed Windows file sharing / DFS environment.    We are looking for the following parameters:

  1. List of folders, shares, date of last access on a per-server basis in a specific site.
  2. Another report which includes membership in a group, the group owner (as indicated in the description of the announcement of the Group) and Department of individual users (also from AD).

  So I saved for different types of documents on a flashdrive (PDF, Word, Excel) and after having placed the flash stick drive in port on my Dell 1815n, an error pops up that States format not supported for files.   Reinstall all your programs from the original media or downloaded files you have saved on an external drive.

  Reinstall all your data from the backups that you made on an external drive.
