  For me, it looks like a hardware malfunction. If the fan does not work as it should then it has nothing to do with the software.
  The A110 seems to be a very new unit and I n t think that the dust and debris are responsible of these automatically shut down.

It opens, closes, turns on, makes noises, etc. It does everything it should, except read DVD/CD. I'll put one in and I don't know if I can hear the disc rotation or is fan of the laptop. (Code 19). "I tried to uninstall reinstall the drivers and let Windows but which never works. I tried to uninstall the and clicking on 'check hardware changes' or whatever the option and a device setup prompt came, but I didn't know if it was for my wireless mouse or DVD drivers. With hindsight I should have waited until it ends instead of cancelling because I thought at the time, it was my mouse. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

  UPDATE: after the countless times uninstall the drivers and using the "Scan for hardware changes" button in the 'Action' tab, it finally started working.

  Nothing says that you need Flash/upgrade the BIOS updated? Updated your BIOS is usually not necessary unless the update fixes a problem that you are experiencing.

  I put t know what fan you mean because I saw only a single fan at the bottom of the unit. However, perhaps the second fan is hidden.
