  • 15R SE 7520 (Waves Maxx Audio does not)

    Dear Dell team,

    • 15R SE 7520 speakers supported Waves MaxxAudio
    • Everything worked well for many people, until the recent upgrade for Windows 10
    • Currently, me and many others to complain about the missing functionality of waves Maxx Audio

    • Therefore, install the driver Audio win 7 (taken from the Dell site)?
    • Or, win 8 / 8.1?
    • What is the compatible Win 10?

Hello. According to Microsoft, most of the drivers for Win 7, 8 and 8.1 are compatible with 10. However the audio drivers can be finicky. I would try all of them, one at a time until you find one that works, but you might have more luck if you install them using the compatibility mode. Here's a way to do it:

    1. download and save the audio driver on your computer or to any location on the hard drive...
    2. double-click on the new folder to extract (unzip) the files of the driver.
    3. the wizard of the extractor will create a new folder for the driver files. It will be located at the "c:\dell\drivers\xxxxxx". Note the exact location that the wizard creates.
    4. If the driver begins to install automatically, stop (cancel) installation.
    5. search for the driver files on the hard drive (the location you noted).
    6. find the file "setup.exe".
    7. right click on setup.exe to open the context menu.
    8. Select Properties.
    9. Select the Compatibility tab.
    10. check the box "run this program in compatibility mode for"... Winxxx' (Windows no matter what the pilot was originally intended for).

If this does not help then I would return just the laptop to Win7 where the audio worked right.

  • Problems with Maxx Audio after Windows 10 'upgrade '.

It seems I'm not the only one with this problem. I use a laptop computer Inspiron 17R 5737 provided with Windows 8.1. After upgrading to Windows 10, I noticed two things: 1. audio Dell, my Waves Maxx Audio 4 works, but miss me all my presets in the QE and I'm actually not able to set ALL the parameters at all. I called Dell 3 times now, for a total of 6 hours on the phone, where they had me not uninstall, then download and reinstall the Realtek audio driver. After you have downloaded and installed 2 times, the EQUALIZER presets are back, but I still cannot do anything else in the program. I noticed, after the first time, update the driver causing the error with Maxx Audio. So the second time I reinstalled it, I do NOT update the driver, but I am still unable to make any changes to the program. It's very frustrating because I record music and mix the final product with my laptop.

The 2nd question I have to be carried out in another forum, as it has to do with my laptop to wake up do not sleep mode.

The audio issue any help would be highly appreciated.

I solved this problem first by downloading the latest audio drivers from Dell Realtek. For my XPS15/M3800 is Realtek ALC3661 Audio Codec version 6.0.1.7525, A00. It is a download of 325MB. After installing it and going through 1 or 2 reboots, my Dell Audio Sound Manager has been restored, but all presets MaxxAudio were missing. To resolve this problem, I opened the Manager of devices--> sound, video and game controllers, the user clicks Realtek High Definition Audio and selected update driver software. I chose automatically search for updates. Windows has found a version update 6.0.1.7628, installed, rebooted and then my presets have been restored.

  • Dell Inspiron 3442 Maxx Audio problem after update of Windows 10

I have seen a lot of posts on this same problem with Maxx Audio in Windows 10, however, I tried to fix it by trying different solutions, that users have given and I had no chance. I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled the Dell expects W10 and Maxx Audio controls do not work. Someone said that they have installed the old drivers for W8.1 and it worked again, I tried it and the controls are there, but when I try to disable Audio Maxx, it does nothing and I close the window, open again and the bar is activated if, it turns off. No idea if I'm doing something wrong? It's a problem very annoying for me since I work with many audio and now it sounds just awful! :(

Much to my anger and regret, Dell didn't send any form of notification NO update to the platform Windows 10 and I did, then reverse it after seeing what a nightmare Windows 10 has, however, not only is now my audio DOES NOT WORK, but my departure to the top and stop sequence is ruined as well as on my laptop Dell.  I tired many times to count to reinstall the drivers for the audio, but it doesn't seem to recognize the audio driver of Dell on Microsoft which is also... UGH... Help... I WANT ONLY THINGS TO WORK AS BEFORE...

  • How to use a wav as audio lip sync?

Can I use a pre-recorded voice for synchronizing the lips on a character from character animator? How?

You import the wav or aiff file into Ch, drag the audio in the scene, select the puppet, and then go to lip sync Timeline/calculation of the audio of the scene. That's all you need to do.

  • Maxx Audio does not work on Inspiron 5520 Win 7 64 bit (start-up Maxx Audio has no effect)

    Hello

I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my Dell Inspiron 5520. I have installed audio drivers available for this product (http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-15r-5520?driverId=X8MPY&osCode=W764&fileId=3075592661) and the installation was successful. (i.e. no error displayed during installation)

However, there seems to be no effect on the audio whenever I have switch between MaxxAudio modes or turn it off completely! (using the control panel Audio Dell). Pressing the quick set button shows the audio mode has been changed, but it has no effect on the audio.

Really appreciate any help to understand what the problem is.

    Thank you very much.

  • MP3 vs wave in audio-heavy projects

I'm working on a project that is very long and each slide has minutes of audio. The file size is so swollen that I feel the latency in the project even with 8 GB of RAM. Is there a downside to import the audio in MP3 format (no, it doesn't have to be edited in captivate). For example, export as swf Captivate will try to recompress the files or simply leave them as what? Thank you!

If you import MP3 files in Captivate do not edit them, then the original MP3 files will be the published content. The cycle of unzip recompression can be called in this case.

    Hope this helps,

    Ashish of Adobe Captivate team

  • Cannot install audio maxx using Vista 64 bit on Qosmio F50

    Hello

I just did a clean install of Vista x 64 and installed the audio drivers Realtek from Toshiba.
The problem is that the Maxx-audio plugins do not appear in the Realtek Control Panel and do not work, even though I see a MaxxAudioAPO20.dll in the System32 folder.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hey Buddy,

For me it looks like there is something wrong with the order of installation as well as drivers have you already installed? Normally the driver chipset and Windows updates must be installed first and then the audio driver. All you can download on the European driver of Toshiba download page.

I used the following installation order:
    -Windows Vista 64-bit
    -Service Pack 2 for Vista
    -Chipset driver
    -Display driver
    -Sound driver
    Driver LAN-
    -WLAN driver
    -etc.
