Reduce clutter in the control on my block diagram reference...

Is it possible to reduce the amount of clutter on my block diagram when needing to enable and disable controls so that the tests are running? I know that I can place the instruction box in a Subvi, but I'm looking for the best method recommended to reduce clutter when listing references. Using LabVIEW 2015.

Here is a small example of what I speak, there will be only for references to be added as the devlops of VI.

Thank you

When you say I can clustor FP, say things that I did, and I have a group of controls such as those below in a clustor. I still have to generate reference constants, which are then placed in clustors. If I want to disable I would have then to consolidate each reference in the clustor, then ungroup and disable each control individually. I bet I'm really missing the point here and I'd love more explanation.

Thank you

My main problem is not being able to place real dangerous in a Clustor.

You think about transportation, when I talk about the horse. Your façade elements can be in a cluster, and then you can use the reference to the pole to disable all. See:

You will get a façade looking slightly different between the two options if you use disabled and Grayed out because when you grey on the whole cluster, the gray edges. When you gray unique items in the cluster, the cluster edges remain normal.

    Hi Jim,.

This was reported to R & D (# 139212) for further investigations.  I don't know if it's more embarrassing fall into the range of functions and reorganize the façade or drop out of the front and hope that the code of the Subvi is not disseminated in the block diagram.  Because the code (or orders) are selected after a fall, and you can switch between diagram and panel above all keeping this selection, at least you can move the code as a whole, right?

  • Why the controls Spyware Blaster to disabled Firefox, when the controls MSIE and blocked sites remain activated

Used Spyware Blaster for about 5-6 years to control software malicious manipulation of Internet EXPLORER, Firefox and block certain websites w 100% success, now all of a sudden when I check status see the Firefox control being disabled/re-enabled to allow javascripts to run, pop-up windows for run, etc over time, from 100% blocked 50% blocked over time.

    This has happened

    A few times a week

  • ALT-click to move the items connected on block diagram

Often, in the diagrams, I would like to be able to drag all the elements connected together to keep them in the same relative position to each other.  Currently, to move multiple items, you will need to select them (stretching), then click and hold to move.  It would be convenient if you could just hold Alt, then click and have Labview automatically select all connected items until you have clicked.

You can not. If you really want to delete a thread, you can send a note to the facilitator. Simply select 'Report to moderator' in the menu Options (above and to the right of the message). I'm assuming you want it to enter the exchange of ideas of LabVIEW.

  • Deleting the definition of Type casuses control a lot of misreferences and program in the block diagram errors

In LabVIEW 2010, I have a Def Type control i.e. a Cluster with several other controls within the Cluster. Apparently, the references to the controls in the block diagram are based on the order that the controls have been added to the Type definition command. The side effect of this is that if a control is removed from the command of Type definition, many of the done Variable reference in the block diagram or now either broken, or worse still, refer to wrong control in the Type definition. These problems are quite difficult to find and fix.

Comment: If you create a control of Type definition and make a Cluster. Now add any controls to the Cluster in an order, let's say A, B, C, D. Their types does not matter. Now use the Type definition in one or more controls on the front panel. In the block mark references to controls inside the Type Def would control on FP. Now return to the Type definition and remove the command B of the definition of Type. Now, lots of errors appear. Broken links. But worse still, you see old references to B that now refer to C and old references to C are now referring to the old references to D and D are removed altogether, etc..  This side effect is much more errors, broken links and misreferences than expected otherwise.

How add and remove controls anywhere in a Cluster in a Type definition, at will, without creating a whole bunch of errors in program, broken links and misreferences for controls in the Type definition that have not changed?

    Hi all

Could someone enlighten me please, what does this comment on the value of the ADC

"Terminals on component connector not on the block diagram of higher level of control.

This means that some terminals is hidden within certain structures of the case and does not show not not the diagram without going into the structures of the case or by 'higher level block diagram', it means

main.VI and main.vi controls must also be connected to the connector pane?

    Thank you

    K.Waris

On the one hand, this means that they run on your screws VI Analyzer, since it is a warning in extenso you receive.  This means simply a terminal which is connected to the ConPane is not on the top level diagram, IE. within a structure of housing.

  • One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because that is: 1) your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) you blocked an editor of one of the controls

Well this problem started a week ago. When computer first starts or restarts (I did not open any program still!) I get this message,

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because that is: 1) your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) you blocked an editor of one of the controls

I know this usually occurs with internet explore, but as I said I do not have anything yet open. I've activated all the active X controls in internet explore with no luck. I searched the web for active x forums and blocked the editor and followed all the instructions in the error message (most of them see enabling active x) but without success. I am an advanced user (15 years and more), but it has left speechless me. If I try to open "Services", I get the same error. When I opened my anti virus, it opens but it is just a blank page. I know that my anti virus is working well.  Also if I open internet explorer, I get a blank page, if I go to a website (enter it or go to my favorites) it works fine. I've deleted all the temp, historical, cookies etc. etc. (use CC Cleaner and other programs to clean) but if reopened once again it says white. If I use help and you want to see a help topic that it is said (may not display due to problems of congestion or network, check connection) but internet works fine. I know that I have not a virus (a lot of people in the forums think it) I scanned with Bitdefender, Eset Nod32, Super Anti Spyware pro, Malaware Anti Malawarebytes, Spybot, Stopzilla, etc. etc. and did not find a virus (in safe mode) there are many people on the web with the same problem (with the same and some with different programs). This problem seems to be random (does not affect a certain program) I tried for a week now and I'm stumped! Anybody have ideas that I heard yet?

    Thank you if you do!

    Hi Morksr2d2,

As you mentioned that the problem reappears as soon as you run the anti-virus program, it seems that we found the cause of these error messages at startup.  I would like to recommend that you Uninstall the antivirus & check if the problem reappears. This should also allow you to make changes on the services tab in system configuration utility.

    Later, reinstall the antivirus program.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

  • Control Parental Windows blocks from across the Web

Well, before you start, please don't tie me to the same danged tutorial. I have NEED OF KNOWLEDGE HOW CONFIGURE THE PARENTAL CONTROLS. I NEED TO KNOW HOW to STOP BLOCK ACROSS the WEB . You see, here's the deal: the setting on my user account is block only pornography, adult content, bomb, Cook, drugs, etc.. The box marked "unrateable content" is not checked. And yet, it does not block all the web only on this basis: I'll have to use the administrator account to access the same this! And so I thought, let's restart it in safe mode, because the computer doesn't even have the parental controls in safe mode. But here, even in safe mode, the entire web is blocked on the unrateable content database.

Yet once, please don't tie me to this danged tutorial bleepingcomputer you people seem to thing is a panacea for everything here. And please excuse me if I look a little snippy. I am right now (I hope it's understandable) a little frustrated.

    Suggestion only:

Login to your admin account > create a new user account > set up Parental controls in this new account with exactly the same restrictions > disconnect.

Logon to the newly created user account > no parental control blocks all Web sites?

For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Parental control: I am the admin of the computer and the computer won't let me access the list allow and block my child's account

I am the administrator of the computer and the computer won't let me access the list allow and block my child's account.  I'll bring my parental control password, click on my childs account, put parental controls, go to web filter and click on block some web sites, click on edit the allow and block list and the computer tells me that it is not able to make changes to parental controls settings and see the system administrator if the problem persists.

    Hi Ranw,

    ·        What is the error message when you try to change parental controls?

    ·        Have you been able to make any changes on this computer from your account earlier?

You can follow the steps below and check if you can make changes to the parental controls on your computer.

    Step 1:

Disable UAC (User Account Control) and check the result. Access the link below and follow the steps to disable UAC.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off

Note: You must restart your computer when you enable or disable UAC. Change levels of notification does not require that you restart your computer.

    Step 2:

I suggest to create a new administrator account and log later in the new administrator account, try to set parental controls and check if it works.

    Create a user account:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Create-a-user-account

Check out the link below to check if the parental control is properly set:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/set-up-parental-controls

I hope this helps. Let us know the result.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Corrupt block is detected in the control file

    Hi all

I have a scenario where I have set up regional advisory councils active / standby and I managed archive redo logs applied to sleep - everything was ok

    Versions - Oracle 11g R2, RHEL 5

    Scenario 1:
Perfectly redo application log on the work of sleep when I don't create our software application tables using sql on the primary scripts until AFTER the stages of CAR/Dataguard completed successfully.

    Scenario 2:
Redo log application does not work when I'm not running our sql scripts until I take a RMAN backup of the primary to be duplicated in the Standby

Everything comes in the day before after the rman duplicate, archive logs is transferred, but now they are not applied.

I see the ORA-00227: Corrupt block is detected in the control file: (block 1, block # 1) in the journal alerts when I put on standby in Recovery Mode

My theory is that somehow our sql scripts are breaking my rman backups when I run them before creating a primary RMAN backup to load on Standby - I just need someone to indicate whether there is a possibility of their experience, if so I will contact the support of Oracle to continue the investigation. It's my first time working on CARS DG etc.

  • Satellite A200 does not correctly reduce or increase the volume

    Hello

Our Satellite A200 is having problems with its Volume control wheel.
If I turn the wheel (on the left or in the past), it does not correctly to reduce or increase the volume level.
He jumps rather the volume level in seemingly random directions (with a preference for the volume).
Turn the wheel slowly improves responsiveness a little, but it remains quite impossible to increase or decrease the volume control that to be.

BTW, I am well aware that the volume control wheel is a wheel of puls-encoder rather than ye olde potentiometer.

-Can anyone you tell me where I can find the configuration that is responsible for this Volume control wheel?
-Which driver/firmware is attached to the order of the volume control?
-How can I determine if this is a hardware or software problem?

    Advice would be welcome.

    Stephan

    Hello

There is no software or hardware problem.
It is a new generation of volume control.

First of all there is no mechanical limit turning right or left.
In addition, this volume controller works a little different than the old volume controllers. The volume can be increased and decreased using the fixed rate

    By the way;
    > Can someone tell me where I can find the configuration that is responsible for this Volume control wheel?
You can change the volume as in the sound settings that could be found in the control panel.
    > Which driver/firmware is attached to the order of the volume control?
Audio driver controls the volume controller.
    > How can I determine if this is a hardware or software problem?
    There is no problem

  • HP Officejet 6500 a Plus: how to allow access to the ePrint and still block direct wireless printing?

My web access is on a public network that I can't control.  I feel ePrint installation and it works fine, but I have a number of people who directly print on my printer and wish to block this direct printing for the ePrint which I can control through allowed/blocked senders lists.

It it is possible, how do I do to fix this?

    Thank you

    Hi @Unhappy_Camper ,

    Welcome to the HP forum.

I understand that you want to prevent other people from printing on your 6500 has more.

Unfortunately what you would do, is not possible.

Anyone on the network can see and use the printer.
