Reference Dell inspiron n4050 integrated webcam not working do not.

I'm already installed Dell Webcam Manager. But when I tried to capture an image, he said "no webcam driver supported detected. Please install the webcam driver using the dell Resource CD, and then restart the webcam Center. "

My unit model is DELL INSPIRON N-4050 and installed 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate edition. I did not come with drivers CD and I do not know where to download the driver for the webcam it is. I also make troubleshooting and checked the Windows Device Manager, it shows that the built-in Webcam is installed under imaging devices, and the driver is up-to-date.

Hello irfan mir.

Welcome to the community,

With Windows 7 webcam driver should get installed automatically. It might be the Webcam Application that does not work properly. Try to uninstall the Webcam of the System Manager (Control Panel, programs and features, select Manager of Webcam, click on uninstall).

Restart the system and install the application Webcam Central from this link below:

  • Problem with Dell Inspiron 1545 integrated Webcam

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 with a built-in webcam. It came with Vista but I upgraded to a Windows 7 64-bit. The webcam used to work at the beginning. I don't know why but one day it stopped working and never worked more. I looked everywhere on the internet means and tried a lot of ways, and it still does not work. Device Manager identifies as "Unknown device" and identifies it as a USB Bus controller. I tried to uninstall it and always allow to detect, but it detects as unknown device. I also tried to reinstall the driver, the vista one because it doesn't have a windows 7 one. What this did was uninstall the old and tried to install a new one (which is the same). But the thing is, it does not work. He'll try to install it and then a message saying "an error has occurred in the installation of the driver" or something like that and then it does not work. I ended up having to run the system restore to recover the pilot. I tried many ways and still does not work. Even the average USB cable. I have been using a USB mouse. I even plugged the USB cable in all my USB ports and it did not work. I tried to connect is not in what either too and it does not work either. I can't even ask Dell to help cause there is nothing to support that I can get. And my drivers are all up to date. Can someone help me solve this problem?

    Hi Kakikala,

    Thank you for posting.

At this point, I suggest you to contact Dell to see if the compatible device in Windows 7.

If this is the case, they must provide you with a driver that will correctly identify and install the unit.

You can also ask them if another device, like a USB joystick, needs a driver to be able to identify the material of the webcam and install it correctly.

  • Reference Dell inspiron 14z turns is not on!

I bought a dell inspiron 14z 5423 one two months ago, today morning I press the power button and nothing! no response no sound!

When the power adapter on, no light on the dell. but on the green card of the light. What is the problem?

p.s its ultrabook and I can not eject the battery.

    Hi Oren1033,

I apologise for the inconvenience. I ask you to disconnect the AC adapter and reboot the system. To reset, use a paper click or PIN to reset the system by inserting the sharp tip in the hole under the laptop reset security. Refer to the image below:

NOTE: Resetting the system causes the unsaved data to be lost. The reset option resets the laptop or the operating system to factory settings. By pressing the button Reset turns off the system.

If the problem persists even after reset, check if the system starts and runs diagnostics on hardware from the system. Hold down the Fn key and the power of the computer. See also the following link for assistance.

  • Inspiron N5110 integrated webcam not working not

I bought Inspiron N5110 last week. Right from the first day, I could not use the built-in webcam with Dell Webcam central or the Skype software. When I open Dell webcam central, it displays this message down 'no supported Webcam connected '. Even in Skype, when I click on the video, nothing appears. I uninstalled and reinstalled dell central webcam, but no use. I also uninstalled the driver for the webcam in device-> imaging devices Manager and reinstalled. But it's always the same. I also could not see driver for webcam my computer model in the Dell Web site. support for drivers has the same problem?

I have a similar problem, but I think that the issue could be with the Dell Webcam Central.  I have uninstall and reinstalled the program, then also installed new updates for it.  I deactivated and activated the device.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver.  I've updated the driver.  I downloaded a new driver, based on advice from another forum (includes a new version as updates).  Still nothing works.  However, I got the camera worked briefly at some stage tonight after one of my moments of "Reinstall driver".  Not a lot of fun.  Spending a few hours on Skype to my family (I moved recently interstate) attempt to fix then to see them and have them only hear me.

    Any ideas?

Otherwise I'll be in him passing on Dell.

  • Dell Inspiron 17R 5720 does not work with the charger. Charger is not recognized. No problem with charger.

My Dell Inspiron 17R 5720 does not recognize charger. And unfortunately my warranty expired 2 months ago.
It was plugged and work in the morning, but then in the afternoon I noticed he was running on battery only. It does not start without battery (charger just plugged).

1 this is what I did to debug. Me and my brother, we bought the same computers Dell laptops at the same time a year and a bit ago. That's why a debugging purposes, it was good.
I took my charger and plugged into his computer. And it works. Certainly not the charger problem I guess. And when I plug the charger my computer, green light is still on the charger. And I have the original charger provided with the laptop.

    2. now, laptop is running on battery only, so that means that this motherboard works. I think so.

    3. the next thing I did was charger disconnected and removed the battery from the laptop. Then I pushed and hold the "Power" button for 45 seconds to pay a royalty to the flea market. Charger plugged in but laptop will not start.

    4. then I booted the laptop on battery, went to the BIOS and check if the charger is recognized in the BIOS. No, it does not recognize charger. So, if this isn't a charger so what else can we?

5 laptop has no strange smells so I don't know if something happened with the motherboard, but I guess that motherboard is ok because it works battery.

    6. I was thinking of updating the BIOS, but I can't do it, because it will be not be updated then the laptop runs on the battery, it needs to be plugged.

Now I'm stuck. I don't know what I can do. I'm willing to spend a little more money on it to try to fix.

If someone had such a problem in the past please let me know what you have done and if it fixed it.
Or if anyone has any other ideas, I will be happy and appreciated the help.

Hello and sorry for this late post. Just had this problem... If there is nothing wrong with the AC adapter, it's a software problem.

Close the laptop... Unplug the AC adapter / CC... Remove the battery... Plug the power adapter... Start the laptop... Go to the control panel... Find and select the Device Manager... Batteries, left click... Uninstall Microsoft AC Adapter, uninstall Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery control method... In fact, uninstall all you can under the batteries, but that should be all there is. It will be re - install when starting... Stop cell phone... Remove the AC adapter / CC... Replace the battery... Plug the power adapter... Start the laptop... Now, everything should be good.

    Hi Narno06 / Angelosheart.

Camera on Dell Inspiron systems has native drivers for the Windows operating system. I suggest you to update the BIOS and Chipset driver on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the operating system, then download BIOS BIOS section, then driver chipset chipset system section and install it in compatibility mode.

I know the headset works on my phone, and I tried uninstalling the Realtek audio driver and using the native driver. Nothing seems to work. Someone at - it suggestions? I'm grateful for any help!

    Hi mammothus,

    Thanks for posting.

Have you tried another set of headphones?  The 7559 decision-making is a composite, which means that the headphones and microphones can be inserted into the same taken.  So if your current headphones are not lining up with the plug, so they will not show.

Some customers have tried a different approach by purchasing one of these dividers, which seem to work pretty well, and they are inexpensive.

Please post back with your results.  Thank you.

    Kind regards
