  Recently, I accidentally upgraded my HP Envy 14 from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and let the month pass without switch back.  Due to one host of other problems that have arisen, I decided to Windows 7, so I took out my old Windows 7 recovery disc to re-install Windows 7.

  He successfully reformats the hard drive and everything seems to go well until the end of the installation, when all of a sudden it shuts off and restarts.  He will then get as far as the 'starting windows' screen before it restarts again, each time giving to the screen "Windows is not stopped successfully", is not just a part of the installation process.  He's stuck in this reboot loop.

  I have created a startup repair disk and ran the Startup Repair, but he reported having found no problem.  Very well.

  When you try to start the computer in safe mode, I get to the screen "Windows is set up your computer for first use" and then informs me that Windows cannot complete the installation in safe mode.  He gets up to now in normal mode, however.

  The battery is thus burned - can install Windows on a computer that has failed the test of the battery?  I don't see how there would be a relationship, but I'm really running out of ideas.

  There was a problem with the graphics card driver, causing a blue screen (code 116) shortly after the start to the top.   I have a Pavilion dv6636 purchased on Oct / 2007 which saw a reboot loop with no boot. By pressing the Start button, I can see the hood leds on, power on (as well as the port for illuminated around blue AC adapter), HD led being turned on once and can hear the pilot DVD is powered and the fan turns, then, after about 10 seconds (while the screen is always black), he stops, remains off for 5 sec , then restarts, stuck in this loop. Experiences I've already done:
  -hard reset
  -reset of memory
  -stable memory locations
  -exchanged memories
  -started with memories (sounded a beep as expected)
  -had started with HD (continued with the same symptoms)
  -F8 or F2 keys pressed during startup (black screen and continued with the same symptoms)
  -F10 key during startup (by pressing F10, it does not shut down as usually does, but rest died, with black screen and rotation of the fan)
  -external monitor plugged in when you start (black screen and continued with the same symptoms)

  Same question occurred in about 4 months ago, but at that time, after break of a week I tried to start and has been a success. Not at the moment.

  Please, any thoughts of what could be the problem?

• Vista Home Premium SP1 Reboot loop infinite, inaccessible Windows restore

  Problem: Update marked Service Pack 1 (I do not know the real KB #) sent my computer in an infinite loop.  After a reboot "3 3 0% complete configuration updates / don't turn off computer" appears and the percentage continues to 100%, the system reboots and repeat.  I left the computer to update last night and now he has been yet updated this morning.

  Is trying to solve: I studied what I can on this problem.  I tried to access the system restore via the following methods:

  1. • Windows Vista - > 7 install fail - reboot loop

  I have a Dell Inspiron 1545, Vista upgrade using the update of Win7 from Dell.  I used their upgrade wizard first, and he told me to inactivate iTunes, I did.  Regular upgrade disc then proceeded, who has had a series of restarts.  I wasn't sitting there watching all the bars and screen.

  Now to reboot, I get the boot manager with a choice between Windows 7 and the Windows installation.  Win7 displays the logo, then the background with the "Setup is starting Services", immediately followed by a Windows Installer popup with the message "Windows could not complete the installation.  To install Windows on this computer, run the Setup again", OK.  Click OK and it displays "Setup will continue after rebooting your computer", and the cycle repeats.

  On startup, I get only a F2 or F12 option, F8 and other commands have no effect.

  Choice of Windows Setup puts me Windows Boot Manager "Windows was able to start", file: \$WINDOWS.~BT\Windows\system32\winload.exe, status: 0xc000000f Info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or damaged.

  I have a new Dell INSPIRON 1525 & a HP C3100/C3180 printer. When I tried to install it, Vista does not recognize the printer. OK, I tried everything; received the HP update disc, not working, downloaded from the site Web of HPs, not good. He moved very well, but then it's gone. Not in the window of the printer, anywhere except to remove or repair the file. Then when I click on HP solutions the screen goes black for a second, then returns all distorted and magnified, looks like resolution everything is off. A box is here who says: "no legacy HP have been detected - HP Solution Center will close now. When I click on the close box screen becomes black new & comes back perfect. Before thinking anything, I know all about the drivers and others. I installed & unintalled several times then I can count. I tried to talk to HP they say that is Vista and I believe them. I tried every way you can to get their hands on the Windows folks & got no response, been put on endless hold, said I could talk to someone in this country who was a true tech, but I have to so finally got a response to a tech by e-mail & she gave me a page and a half of instructions that I could print pay(I won't)... If my printer worked. So I wrote them down, but the first part is not very clear, so I sent back & no response. 3 days ago, I called & had somesone who said that they would write to me better instructions and you guessed it... still waiting. Sorry about this but I tried since February 14. I go to College I need the printer and I'm so aggravated.
  Tell you the first part of the instructions, can help me is it someone at least with this please. It comes to getting Vista to Reconize drivers/printer/spool.  It is said: START WINDOWS EXPLORER & THEN RENAME all FILES & FOLDERS in THE FOLLOWING 2 FILES: C:\windows\system32\spool\printers.

  At this point, there are a few options that you can try. If you can access the F8 menu (essentially as soon as your system starts after the departure of logo of the manufacturer by pressing F8) and see if there is an option to "Repair my computer" If there is this option and you can try to recover your data, or perform a system restore.

  In the event of failure of the only option you can try is to use the recovery disks you have. According to the manufacturer, you should be able to press F12 when you start your computer and get an option to boot from the disc. (Just a game friendly attention, be very careful when traveling this road, because it might make you lose data.) Yet once, it would be depends on your manufacturer of some of them offer backups of data, others do not)

  I have a Palm TX which is a little over a year old. It was not subject to any negligence, to the best of my knowledge. This morning the battery was dead and so I put on the charger. 10 hours or so later, when it was activated, he showed the first 2 logos of start-up and then repeated again and again.   You have all 3rd party programs installed on the TX? These can sometimes cause looping.

  If you have no 3rd party programs, you should try the hard reset. The hard reset will erase all data on the TX.

  Go to http://www.palm.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?ID=887 and follow the directions to do a hard reset. Then before of you hotsync your data back you will need to rename your backup folder, to do than go here.

  C:\Program files\palm or palm one\ [hotsync username]------and rename your backup
  file Backup.Old

  Start--> documents\Palm OS Desktop\ [hotsync username]------and rename your backup
  file Backup.Old

  Then hotsync from your current name of hotsync and all your contacts, calendar,

  I had not so long ago.  You can start your PC in safe mode using the F8 key on startup?  So then start in safe mode go to your add/remove software in the control panel and delete all of your drivers.  Mine was a the driver conflict.  Once I removed all my drivers, the system starts fine and then reinstalled the appropriate drivers based on DLLs installed previously.
