  • Lightroom CC will not open. Flash screen flashes, but that is it. Uninstalled and reinstalled (with CC), but got the same result.

I installed Lightroom CC CC on Macbook Yosemite 10.10.3 running App. It says it is installed, but the attempts to open it get only a snapshot of the screen flash, then nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but get the same result.

  • I had 26 successful updates for SQL Server 2005 SP3 KB970892, but I keep getting a yellow icon who invites me to install it. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I still get the prompt to install the update.

I have Dell Dimension 8100 with Windows XP Home Edition that has Visual Studio 2005 Express installed that has SQL Server 2005 with her. I had a problem with Windows Update and will prompt to install SQL Server 2005 SP3 KB970892 since October 14,2009. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything first and always kept getting the prompt, then I tried another solution that I got from a forum of symantec. I uninstalled the update again, and then I went into the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Resume REG_DWORD and changed the value decimal from 1 to 0, installed the update and restarted the machine. It worked for the person who posted, but this has not worked for me. I waited a while hoping that Microsoft will come out with a fix for the next monthly update that has not yet happened. If anyone has a solution, please send an email to . I thank very you much for your time.

  • Load a Windows rescue disk the same as reformatting and reinstalling Windows?

    Win32/Ramnit.z and fitness.

Hi, once you've found the Win32/Ramnit.z on one of our computers/cash registers I need to reformat and load the operating system on. A cam XP rescue & recovery disc with the computer and I was wondering if this drive will do the same work as the reformatting.

    Hello

A recovery disk contains tools and information that can be used to 'recover' your system using the information stored on your hard drive. This 'information' could be the I386 folder, this could be a hidden restore partition, or it could be something else entirely. The key is that the recovery disc uses a lot of information on your hard drive.

An installation disc contains the software to install. A Windows installation disk contains a copy of Windows that is copied from the disk and installed on the hard drive of your computer. There is not need additional tools or information already exists on the hard drive.

  • No Internet after reformatting and reinstalling Windows XP Professional.

A few days ago, I found my old copy store-bought of Windows XP Professional. I reformatted the computer on which it was installed, reinstalled the same copy of Windows XP Pro, but now I can't access the Internet at all. If I couldn't go online before the reformatting process would be a red x through the icon network, now there is no icon whether at any time. When I try to surf the Internet on IE6 (since I can't get online, I can not update past IE6), he told me that he found the server on any website, I try.

It's as if my computer fails to detect even my connection. I called Comcast (my ISP), they say that my connection is working properly, and there is nothing they can do.

Search for the drivers that apply to your motherboard.

I recommend that you check the FAQ for Windows 7 ASUS and ask questions in the forums to Support ASUS .  People there can help you probably best we can here.

  • No sound after reformatting and reinstalling Windows XP.

Devices are listed and each said that it works correctly, but the computer does not recognize an audio device.  Can't hear the system sounds and cannot use windows media.  What should I do?  Help, please

The standard answer is: download and install all the drivers on the site of the manufacturer of the web support system, if a system, or from the web site of the manufacturer of the motherboard support.  You want to install all the necessary drivers, updates, tools and software, not only the multimedia device driver.

Do not depend on the wizard windows update or device to obtain the device driver appropriate multimedia as they are known to be wrong.  (Note: they do a remarkable job, however, to a notoriously difficult task!)

If you had described your system it original your post, we could have directed you to the web site of the said supported.  Please read: KB555375 - how to ask a question.

  • R310 Gets a blue screen during the installation

I have a R310 failed with a blue screen. I tried to boot from the OS from Dell disk and do a clean install on the original hard drive and a new hard drive.

Installation works normally but gets a blue screen at 10% or 20% (random) during file extraction.

What is the RAID controller that is faulty

    any suggestions?

    THX

    Gavincr001.

What is the stop code that is displayed on the blue screen? Also, you can check if the server is updated in the BIOS, iDrac, controller of life cycle, as well as the raid controller in the server? If some of them get obsolete now, it can cause stability problems. Let me know what the stop code is that you see and I will be able to better understand what is causing the problem. In addition, what is the OS you are using?

    Let me know.

    Hello

I saw the 0x0000007B BSOD caused by trying to install XP on a disk hard while the BIOS is designating the reader as AHCI instead of IDE. XP has no native AHCI drivers, resulting in a stop 7B. Unless the PC had originally Vista or Win 7, but it might be useful to check that it is not likely.

If the BIOS is set to AHCI, you could do one of three things (depending on whether your PC has a floppy drive)...

1 find the Setup F6 disk on AHCI support at installation time (start with the manufacturer's website if you do not already have such a thing). Watch the very hit F6 prompt early in the installation process.

    2. change the setting in BIOS on IDE / ATA

    3. create a new "slipstreaming" installation disc drivers AHCI in the existing installation disc, see http://www.nliteos.com/index.html

After the back if your BIOS is IDE / ATA

    Tricky
