Reformat the result Table data

I have data collected from octave analysis that appears in an array of result before being sent to excel for more calculations and reports.  With the help of the GetOctaveInfo.vi, I find myself with a large amount of data I don't need.  Ideally, all I want is the frequency (Hz) in one column and the decibel (dB) read in the next.  I have attached photos of the table of results and how it is formatted in excel.  Is there a way to remove the extra data?  Note that the size of the table of results can change.

Thank you.

Youn can use the attached .vi (LV 8.5) to remove the additional data

    I am troubleshooting a data corruption issue, and I need to see year-round in the developer sql results pane. When I issue a select statement on a table dates in the format DD-MON-AA results pane. Is there a way to display dates in the format DD/MM/YYYY.

    Hello

    You who control with tools | Preferences | Database | NLS | Date format. Alternatively, a spreadsheet on your connection, just run

    ALTER session set nls_date_format = "DD/MM/YYYY";

    The alter session actually overrides the preference setting and applies to all spreadsheets shared for the connection and also includes the results of the data object browser tab.

  • Help Removeing all the commas of the results table.

    Good afternoon al,.

    I'm pretty new on Oracle SQL developer and need a little help to find the best way to replace all commas in a table of results with ' > '.

    I run a select statement:

    SELECT

    WHERECLAUSEVALUE

    Of

    FDM_SAB. TDATAMAP

    ORDER BY WHERECLAUSEVALUE ASC

    To produce a very simple table with 1 column. (see bleow):

    00000,50000

    00000,50000

    00000,50000

    As you can see some of the results contains a comma then a space, I'm looking to replace the "," (comma and space) with ' > ' (greater-than sign in). I guess this is done at a point with the function replace but have had no luck so far.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

    Replace (columnname, ',' > ')

    Should work for you.

  • A search criterion and the result as a table in the header. Wanted to bind the result table to bean to access the value of the key

    The search criteria and the result is displayed in the table in a group header.  I want to get the value of the selected row and analyze the value of Vo in the next page for a variable binding. So I need to manage the value biniding to the bean tbal, but there is no option to bind the table to a bean. So, how can I get the selected value.

    Kind regards

    K M Krishna.

    First tell us your version of jdev, please.

    to get to the selected line you need not to link the table to a managed bean. You can for example drag the necessary attributes of the VO on the page and drop them as components of a inputText. the framework then generated the attribute bindings and sets the values of the current row for them. As you do not really need the inputText elements switch to source view (! it is essential!), then remove them. This will eliminate the Visual component, but attribute bindings are stored.

    Know you can access the values through their EL or as you get the value of an attribute via it's mandatory.

  • Restore the partition table data

    Hello

    DB 10.2.0.1

    I have a dump file in which exported the data from a table to a database. This table is based partioned. I have imported into the database B. I have truncated or tried successively to the partition of the table in database B now I want to import the data from the export dump file in the same table. I don't want to import the data again for all partitions. I want to just import only truncated how data I could do?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Even I did as you say, but we give below error.

    In fact, it is not an error message:

    Import completed successfully without warnings.

    You have SQL code contained in the "dump":

    CREATE TABLE 'TRADING_TEST' ("BRAND_DESCRIPTION' VARCHAR2 (120)...)

    For example, you may notice that importation will try to recreate the Table of TRADING_TEST with all its partitions. Of course, it will generate an error and you will not be able to import the data in the Partition. Unless you have just TRUNCATE and you use the parameter IGNORE = Y.

    So, if you TRUNCATE the Partition you do not have to recreate.

    If you DROP the Partition, it is best to recreate first (ALTER TABLE ADD PARTITION...).

    Then import you the datas like that (I just add IGNORE and LOG settings):

    imp system/password file=C:\exportTable32\table.dmp FROMUSER=dev touser=system tables=(TRADING_TEST:A15) ignore=y log=C:\exportTable32\table.log

    However, I hope that it is just for test purpose, because it is not recommended to create the user Tables in the SYSTEM.

    Hope this helps.

  • XML from the Oracle Table data

    Hi all

    I'm new to this network. I'm also new to oracle XML package. I want a help with the query below.

    CREATE TABLE EMP (ID NUMBER PRIMARY KEY, NAME VARCHAR2 (10), TELEPHONE NUMBER);

    INSERT INTO EMP (ID, NAME, PHONE) VALUES (11, 'Joy', 1234);
    INSERT INTO EMP (ID, NAME, PHONE) VALUES (22, 'Mike', 5678).
    INSERT INTO EMP (ID, NAME, PHONE) VALUES (33, "Jason", NULL);
    COMMIT;

    I want to export data from the EMP table in an XML file with the format below.

    Power required:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? > < Joy STATICDATA > < EMP > < ID > 11 < /ID > < NAME > < / NAME > < / EMP > < / STATICDATA >
    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? > < Mike STATICDATA > < EMP > < ID > 22 < /ID > < NAME > < / NAME > < / EMP > < / STATICDATA >
    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? > < Jason STATICDATA > < EMP > < ID > 33 < /ID > < NAME > < / NAME > < / EMP > < / STATICDATA >

    I used some XML functions and you wrote the following query.

    Select XMLROOT (XMLELEMENT (staticdata, XMLELEMENT (EMP, XMLELEMENT(ID,ID), XMLELEMENT(NAME,NAME))), version "1.0" encoding = "UTF - 8') xml EMP;

    my query output:

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
    < STATICDATA >
    < EMP >
    < ID > 11 / < ID >
    Joy of < NAME > < / NAME >
    < / EMP >
    < / STATICDATA >
    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF-8"? >
    < STATICDATA >

    < STATICDATA >
    < EMP >
    < ID > 33 / < ID >
    Jason < NAME > < / NAME >
    < / EMP >
    < / STATICDATA >

    But I want the out as the power required above. all records in a single line. can someone help me achieve the desired output. also can I export all columns of the table with something like select * from the table in the XML file?

    Thank you
    Delobelle

    Don't know why you need it on a single line, but you could:

    Select XMLTYPE (REGEXP_REPLACE (XMLROOT (XMLELEMENT (staticdata, XMLELEMENT (EMP, XMLELEMENT(ID,ID), XMLELEMENT(NAME,NAME))), version "1.0" encoding = "UTF - 8'), CHR (10) |)) ' *<><'))>
    FROM EMP;

  • Problem, out the second table based on ID in the first table data

    Hi everyone: I was stuck for a few days to a few questions. And here's one:

    I have a table of COURSE. I also have a summary of COURSES which displays all courses and related information page.

    When a user clicks on a specific course he will lead them to a page of details for this specific courses. PROBLEM: Everything works well except: I have a separate table that contains information of teachers. The two tables are related by The Primary Key (PERSONNEL_ID) in the table of teachers (called PERSONNEL_LISTS) and MT_ID in the COURSES TABLE. I don't want the MT_ID to be displayed on the details page: I have teachers want first and last name.

    Here are two tables:

    http://www.coolflasher.com/Courses_table.gif

    http://www.coolflasher.com/Personnel_table.gif

    The SQL that is currently used on the course detail page is:

    < name cfparam = "URL. Default COURSE_ID"="-1 ">".
    < name cfparam = default 'URL_COURSE_ID' = '#URL. COURSE_ID #">"
    < cfparam name = default 'SESSION._Insert_COURSES' '-1' = >
    < name cfquery = "CLASS" datasource = "SCHEDULING_TRACKER" >
    SELECT *.

    WHERE COURSE_ID = < cfqueryparam value = '#URL. "COURSE_ID #" cfsqltype = "cf_sql_numeric" > OR (-1 = < cfqueryparam value = "" #URL_COURSE_ID # "cfsqltype ="cf_sql_numeric"> AND COURSE_ID = < cfqueryparam value =" #SESSION._Insert_COURSES # "cfsqltype ="cf_sql_numeric">")
    < / cfquery >

    And I'm out of the MT_Code: cfoutput > #COURSES.MT_ID # < / cfoutput >

    I tried to add the table PERSONNEL_LISTS of the request, but I can't figure how to get it out of the column FIRST_NAME and LAST_NAME that correspond with the MT_ID in the table of COURSE. Table of courses

    Do not use select *.

    The two most common ways to join the tables are:

    FROM table1 join table2 on table1.somefield = table2.somefield
    and
    FROM table1, table2
    where table1.somefield = table2.somefield

  • Loading XML into the relational Table data

    Hello

    I get a generated XML file to other tools (Windows), I am trying to create a Linux shell script that will gather the necessary XML file to my Linux server, then ask Oracle to use this file to load the XML data into a relational table. This activity and the data will be needed on an ongoing basis.

    I tried two ways. First, I loaded the XML document into the database and tried to extract the data directly from the document, but it does not work. Now I want to try to read the data directly from the file on the server through select, however I don't get all the returned data. In the Select statement below, I am trying to query the data to see what is returned for my tests.

    Create Table ci_results_table (transactionID Varchar2 (100), //transactionID should be PrimaryKey but became errors in test of insert, PK so deleted NULL value)

    message Varchar2 (200),

    This Varchar2 (50).

    XMLType of the ProcessedDate,

    status Varchar2 (50).

    sourceFile VarChar2 (100));

    Select x.*

    from XMLTable)

    ' TSPLoadResults/results '.

    PASSAGE xmltype (bfilename('CMDB_DEVADHOCRESULTS_DIR','LoadResults-HP_146.results.xml'), nls_charset_id ('AL32UTF8'))

    COLUMNS

    transactionID PATH Varchar2 (100) 'TransactionID '.

    Result XMLType PATH 'result ',.

    Message Varchar2 (200) PATH "Message."

    PrimaryKey Varchar2 (50) PATH "PrimaryKey"

    Date of ProcessedDate path "ProcessedDate."

    Status Varchar2 (50) PATH "Status."

    SourceFile VarChar2 (100) PATH "SourceFileName.

    ) x

    ;

    Eventually, I'll have to build on that to limit the returned data to records where SourceFileName is like '% PA' and insert what is returned in to the ci_results_table. Attached is an example of the XML results file I am trying to load, it is named "ResultsTransformedtoUnix" because I used dos2Unix to convert Unix which can be good or bad. (I send the output file must be converted to the format BACK until the other application can read). Original (before converting Unix) file named in the script is also attached.

    Help, please. Thank you!

    Hello

    I see some bad things in your query.

    (1) obvious one, explaining why you get all the data: there is a typing error in the XQuery expression, there 'result' not'slead.

    (2) ProcessedDate can be extracted as a date (at least not directly) because it actually represents a timestamp, use the TIMESTAMP WITH time ZONE HOURS and cast back to DATE data type in the SELECT clause

    (3) transactionID is an attribute, it must be accessible with ' @' (or ' attribute:' axis)

    (4) if the encoding of file really is ISO-8859-1 as suggested in the prologue, then do not use AL32UTF8 but the name of the corresponding character set: WE8ISO8859P1

    Here is the query to work:

    select x.transactionID
         , x.Message
         , x.Primarykey
         , cast(x.ProcessedDate as date) ProcessDate
         , x.Status
         , x.SourceFile
    from XMLTable(
           '/TSPLoadResults/Result'
           PASSING xmltype(bfilename('XML_DIR','LoadResults-HP_146.results.xml'), nls_charset_id('WE8ISO8859P1'))
           COLUMNS
             transactionID Varchar2(100)            PATH '@transactionID',
             Message       Varchar2(200)            PATH 'Message',
             PrimaryKey    Varchar2(50)             PATH 'PrimaryKey',
             ProcessedDate timestamp with time zone PATH 'ProcessedDate',
             Status        Varchar2(50)             PATH 'Status',
             SourceFile    VarChar2(100)            PATH 'SourceFileName'
         ) x
    ;

    Directly on the file using this query will only be decently (for large files) on 11.2.0.4 and beyond.

    On older versions, first load the file into a (temporary) XMLType column with binary XML storage and CHOOSE from there.

    because I used dos2Unix to convert Unix which can be good or bad.

    This conversion should not be necessary.

  • ctx_doc. Highlight - type offset column in the resulting table?

    Hi all

    I'm trying to get the piece highlighted document, that contains the my search term.
    I guess that this column offset in the table of results of ctx_doc.highlight contains the starting position of the search term in my document from count of 1.
    Problem is that when I try to get this piece of text like this
    DBMS_LOB.READ (HIGHLIGHTEDDOC, ammount, offset, chunkofdoc);
    I get a piece which does not contain search term... is not even near the part of the document that contains the search term.
    When I get the document highlighted, correct terms are highlighted, but there is a problem when documents are large and have more than 1,000 pages.
    So I guess the idea is to get only the parts of the document that contain search terms.

    1. What is offset column numbers? characters with spaces, bytes, or something else?

    2. is there another way to get only the segment of the document that contains the search term?

    Thanks in advance,
    Alexandar

    Hi Alexander,.

    I see you are using to the highest point in CLEAR = false, but with the filter you use PLAINTEXT = true. The tripping I have not the opportunity to test, but I think that this will lead to different documents, so the highlight offset will be on another version of the document. So could you try what this will do, if you set both the same.

  • By using the query table data pump

    I am trying to perform an export of data pump on a table by using a query in a parfile and I'm getting a strange behavior. The database version is 10.2.0.4.3 and the AIX 5.3 operating system. The query looks like this.

    QUERY = "POSDECLARATIONQUEUE:where SESSIONID in (select"B.SESSIONID"from POSACCOUNT A, POSDECLARATIONQUEUE B, POSDECLARATIONSESSION C, where"B.SESSIONID"="C.ID"and"C.ACCOUNTID"= 'A.ID' and 'Inform' = '10252')" "

    This works, but gets 0 rows. If I run the query against the instance in a session of SQLPlus as below then I get 0 rows returned.

    Select * from POSDECLARATIONQUEUE where SESSIONID in (select "B.SESSIONID" from POSACCOUNT A, POSDECLARATIONQUEUE B, POSDECLARATIONSESSION C, where "B.SESSIONID" = "C.ID" AND "C.ACCOUNTID" = 'A.ID' and 'Inform' = '10252');

    If I take the columns all about apostrophes in the query on the Forum with SQLPlus, I get over 2000 rows returned.

    SQL > select count (*) in the POSDECLARATIONQUEUE where SESSIONID in (select B.SESSIONID from POSACCOUNT A, POSDECLARATIONQUEUE B, POSDECLARATIONSESSION C where B.SESSIONID = C.ID and C.ACCOUNTID = A.ID and inform = 10252);

    COUNT (*)
    ----------
    2098

    If I remove the apostrophes in the query parfile then I get the following error in data pump export.

    DEU-00014: invalid value for the parameter, "schemas".

    The PATTERNS option is not specified in parfile him and the TABLES option specifies that the table POSDECLARATIONQUEUE.

    Can someone help with this, I can't seem to be able to get the syntax just to work within data pump.

    Kind regards.

    It seems that your query can be a little wrong:

    That's what you have:

    QUERY = "POSDECLARATIONQUEUE:where SESSIONID in (select"B.SESSIONID"from POSACCOUNT A, POSDECLARATIONQUEUE B, POSDECLARATIONSESSION C, where"B.SESSIONID"="C.ID"and"C.ACCOUNTID"= 'A.ID' and 'Inform' = '10252')" "

    That's what I would have thought it should look like:

    QUERY = POSDECLARATIONQUEUE: "where SESSIONID in (select B.SESSIONID from POSACCOUNT A, POSDECLARATIONQUEUE B, POSDECLARATIONSESSION C where B.SESSIONID = C.ID and C.ACCOUNTID = A.ID and inform = 10252).

    You want to double "around the full query and you have not need single ' around all =." The single ' treat these values as strings and he said

    "B.SESSIONID" = "C.ID".
    the B.SESSIONID string is the string C.ID

    In your query you used in sql has been

    B.SESSIONID = C.ID

    that said, it is that the B.SESSIONID stored value equal to the value stored at C.ID

  • get the multiselect table data

    Hello

    I use ADF 11g (11.1.1.1.0 Jdeveloper) and EJB to access data from the database.
    I have a table with multiselect true. The code for the bean of support to return the selected lines is:

    Table RicheTableau = this.getT1 ();
    Iterator itr = table.getSelectedRowKeys () .iterator ();
    While {(itr.hasNext ())}
    The list l = (List) itr.next ();
    Key = (Key) l.get (0);
    System.out.println (Key.GetAttribute (0));
    }

    The problem is that the inner loop is executed once when I have more selected rows (last row is printed).
    Any help on this?

    Hi warda,.

    Your code is fine looking for me. Just delete the property "selectedRowKeys" of the table and see (make sure you set rowSelection multiple ownership).
