Refurbished or used 70-200mm?

Wandering between these two choices. Whitch is better? Anyone used lens refurbished?

Used from merchant reputible is little different from a refurb. Items are often inspected like refurb, could be repaired if necessary, even only a refurb, and usually comes with a guarantee period moderate, although it is usually less than a refurb. Adorama, B & H, KEH are all dealers reputible and reliable of the gear used.

Used by a private party is generally a little more risky, but prices are generally lower. As noted above, you should know what you buy and be able to quickly evaluate whether buying in person. Assume that it offers no guarantee, because you probably won't see the seller again.

If the purchase of private offline - such as some auction sites - games you sometimes little recourse if something is not worth. Above on the auction site sellers in some cases offer modest right of return, although you may be the cost of maritime transport. And there is a way to challenge an obvious RIP-OFF.

Over the years I bought new dealers, used dealers, used by private parties and refurb... usually not had any problems. Only had a rare problem or two.

  • IPhone refurbished reliable sellers

    Hello

I've been looking for a new iPhone for several weeks now and managed to find a very reasonable value, good nick iPhone 6 with 64 GB of storage in gray space (at least that is what I was told on the description of the object) arrived quickly in a very poor packaging. The box was a 3rd party one containing the phone, a sim card slot key and a charging cable (without charger) I discovered that the phone is faulty, a few days ago and he returned to a full compensation, restitution and £25. I'm now looking for a refurbished iPhone 6 64 GB in unbearably Gold/Silver for sub bar for £400. If anyone has some good suggestions of reliable sellers and he could meet with them that would be very appreciated.

    Thank you, Freddie.

Apple does not sell refourbis iPhones and has never, nor allow any iPhone Apple authorized reseller to sell refurbished phones. The only devices that are refurbished are those repaired by third-party companies. What the companies consider "renovation" varies greatly and you should ask them what they do to their devices.  Note that there is also no legitimate source of original OEM new to unauthorized dealers or service centers, if none of these companies offering the refurbished devices use used/salvaged parts, parts grey or downright fraudulent.

Essentially refourbis a company or a website selling iPhones sell anything the more used peripherals that they cleaned the place, or perhaps finally somewhat tested. In addition, any warranty on these devices will be only the seller or the company that made refurbishing what we call, but not Apple.

  • Black does not print

OK, here's the problem and the remedies I've tried. Stopped printing in black, had half a black, but even when changed ink cartridge (all HP cartridges). Didn't work, cleaning print head, did not. Latest version of the re-load software from HP, has not helped. It prints nothing black but grey. And add to this problem, I keep getting message of paper when the paper tray has paper, rolls will pick up a sheet, stops and load paper guest turns. Have unplugged and reset with #3 without change. This has been a Fatima. Help!

    I talked to the support technique hp my black ink not printing not trouble. No technical support suggests to take;

    1. remove the black print cartridge on the location of the cartridge and gentle clean the wide screen inside the location of the cartridge with a cloth provide (like a handkerchief).

2 - Insert the black cartridge and print an alignment test page

3 - If the alignment test page (showing the cyan ink) printing, this clearly indicates that you do not have a problem of printing ink but it does not indicate that you no longer have a printer to work according to the HP Technical Support. Claiming that the trucking for cartridges is damaged.

If you have any questions about this, you can call HP to the 1-800-474-6896 they will be happy to replace this printer with a reconditioned printer that is a printer, that it comes from another bank (excess inventory) which is out of the box by the provider (HP) and sent to their technical service for refurbishment for use of HP. They are reasonably priced anywhere from $ 98 to $ 150 depending on the model. If you decide to replace your printer I'd get the guarantee of $1.00 for two years like this if you have the same problems, they will replace the free printer. Oh I mentioned that you can still use the ink cartridges even if you order a product that can take the same cartridge that belongs to you. Shipping is approximately 7 working days. HP will give you a tracking number for printer and warranty.

  • Security of the data to hard drive replaced under warranty

My laptop is fixed by virtue of the extended due to a hard drive failure warranty. HP has no problem, replace the defective drive. However, I asked that they return the drive failed for me, because it contains personal data and I want to make sure it is properly destroyed. They refuse to send me the original drive, unless I have pay $290 for it. Otherwise they will simply ship the laptop to me not repaired.

I am very hurt to her comfortable while simply trust that the reader will be well destroyed. I hear too many stories on data personal discs playing in landfills or elsewhere. I don't know that it would happen to HP, but then I don't know it won't, either, and it is not a value of potential risk.

Does anyone know what HP is doing to "destroy" a hard drive? Alternatively, anyone has any advice on how to convince HP to return my hard drive of origin for no additional cost, as it should be without me having to jump through hoops?

I can assure you that all personal data is secure when HP parts for refurbished devices used. HP treats thousands of thousands of pieces per day. Unless your failed hard drive is labeled "TOP SECRET" noone will give him a second glance. It merely add to the line, dismantled and the parties go into hp quality tests where they create parts for refurbished devices. The trays are too sensitive for them to be swapped around without a clean room. They are destroyed. probably thrown in a dumpster somewhere. Once that any type of dust gets on the trays the discs are unreadable, even if they have been good before he was saying-assembled. It is not cost-efficiant to slow production just to get the trays on a hard drive in a clean room. It is easier to throw away them and have a machine to replace

  • International warranty blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I wonder if I bought a blackberry AT & T, with the international guarantee torch

If I had to be in Singapore, my warranty will be valid and where and how we serve our phone

One question, will you use the device with the voice and/or data ATT international roaming service?

If not then, real problem, you will always be an ATT customer.

But if you buy the ATT device, use no ATT servcie and are not an ATT customer and unlock the device for use on another carrier? Of course, it is still guaranteed, but you will have a devil of a time access once you take the unit off to the carrier and retail dealer who sold you the unit.

    Here: http://www.blackberry.com/legal/warranty/handheld.shtml

So, while you are covered, if you have a claim, it won't be easy. You will be in Singapore and to retailers it won't cover a device has they have no sales.

You can contact RIM directly, but it will not be easy.

My advice... buy a refurbished or used at a price less than complete out-ATT contract, get it unlocked and don't worry about the warranty. If something happens to physically of the device (which is not covered by the warranty anyway) so just buy a new one. You would always spend less money, in my opinion.

Otherwise, you can get all the support software and operating system, you need here in these forums.

  • Visor Deluxe Questions

I have what I think is a Visor Deluxe (black, 8MB, OS3.1H2). I don't have it synchronized for probably 5 years or more (I had set it up on an old machine with Win98 and he's dead).

We recently retired and travel for about half of the year and I would like to use it as an ebook download reader to it through our laptop that is running Vista 64-bit.

We also have a desktop computer (who is not traveling with us; o)) which is running XP.

After doing some research, it seems that there is a problem with the help of Vista 64-bit. I hope someone can tell me if the 64-bit Vista or XP will work with the visor for hotsync or download ebooks?

    Thank you!

    1. For 64-bit Vista Hotsync questions, please see this thread stickied at the top of the Board of Windows Hotsync.
    2. For eBooks, you must use eReader for Palm , or a compatible application for any format of eBooks that you want to download.
    3. Personally, I think you will find that the Visor Deluxe will be relatively slow and difficult for eBooks.  The screen is small and low resolution.  If this will be your main goal with the Palm, you would be much better served by finding a Palm T5 or TX, refurbished or used with their screens wide, high-resolution, color.  Just my opinion.

  • Legal to use "For DISTRIBUTION only with a NEW or HP Compaq PC" CD sent AFTER the purchase of the REFURBISHED computers?

Several months after the purchase of a refurbished laptop factory small business HP,
I came across some problems that I have contacted HP.

HP sent me (with no extra charge) a set of 2 CDs, both marked
"For DISTRIBUTION only with a NEW HP or Compaq PC" (underlining)
and protected by HP (with portions by Microsoft).

The 2 CD of this set of CD XP Pro DR/OS were:
    Operating system CD
    Application and Driver Recovery DVD

    Since:
    1. the PC was a PC refurbished, rather than another.
    2. the CD set was sent AFTER my purchase, rather than be distributed with it.

I was always a little uneasy on this subject, but had never asked about it before.

Is it legal to use these CD with my PC HP refurbished?

    Thank you.

    -RJ, USA

The key words here are "HP refurbished factory."

That's why since you received the media to "HP" its legal. Recovery media is automatically sent to end users like you to a number of PC makers, with HP being one of many.

Yes, this card should work. Here's a few other specs for your Mac Pro 2006. FWIW, there are two similar cards, that you mentioned (the map that was an option at the time, these desktop computers are released) and also the BCM94322MC which is an updated version. Either should work. Nevertheless, it would be wise understand return policy in case you get a faulty card.
