  If your iOS device does not appear in iTunes, try the following:

  1. Open Control Panel > Device Manager
  2. Plug in your device

• Home sharing a fall of Apple TV 3 rd gen.

  I have two devices. A MacBook Air 13 inch (2013) and a new iMac 27 K 5 in. end 2015 (OS 10.11.6). The iTunes is the last 12.1.5.21 and once on the version previous home sharing would be cut at random on my Apple 3rd GEN MacBook Air TV is never a problem, just this iMac. Yesterday I fixed in signing off everything, leave iTunes, restarted my iMac, reboot of the Capsule of ancient times - not sure of the model, then by restarting Apple TV. He was working back. Then I just tried this and failed. Then, I am registered on the sharing House Apple TV and iTunes from iMac, restarted the router and voila it worked. Now while typing this it just cut off again. This is while watching videos streaming on Apple TV, the main reason I bought the thing.

  Now I try the same procedure to see if it will work. Why - what is falling all the time. I am registered on iTunes, but Apple TV says that I am not connected. This is getting very frustrating.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. From what you have said, it seems that for Apple TV streaming home sharing is cutting.  Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. There are a few things that we can do that you mentioned not try again. I recommend you read these articles, since this seems consistent throughout a few Macs, maybe it's a problem with the AppleTV.

  I can't connect in the Mac App store. I've recently upgraded to the 'free' El Capitan (which cost me a lot of time to understand the problems of this kind... and Photos... etc)

  I have my operating system that is installed on a separate lightning drive: OS_APPS_HD

  I have all my data on a separate hard drive, in my case "phrankHD".

  If I ls in /, I get:

  Users->/Volumes/phrankHD/Users

  So, I have not ZERO, but TWO of them, apparently very important directories users / shared.

  / Volumes/OS_APPS_HD/users/shared / (which I think that I do not at all, but timestamps seem a bit sus)

  and

  / Volumes/phrankHD/users/shared which is where to go if I go to/Users/Shared.

  Now... what the hell to do from here?

  Keep in mind, I am trying to log in the Mac App store to try to get a copy of the update of the opening - this 'Pro' abandoned Apple app and I have to dig my library of.

  After a few 'ls' compares, I guess that I have only a SINGLE Directory/Users/Shared.  I'm getting confused by the Volumes bit, but I think that both * Shared Directories / Users / I above are the same.

  I got my new MacBook Pro last weekend and have been implemented. Original upward, I opened iTunes, signed, and ALL my music was already there. I do not agree even to match iTunes! Play counts, purchase dates, added dates were all there just as it was on my old macbook.  It was all be listened on the cloud and was not physically on my new computer.

  Today, I had problems with a few albums that wouldn't run, so I registered on iTunes and back, and now all my music is gone and do not return. What happened and how do I fix it?

  Make sure that you sign in iTunes using the same Apple ID used for the purchase of your iTunes content.

  I'm registered for iTunes game.  In iTunes on my PC, most of my playlists sync on the cloud and will be not to my iphone, but a reading list.  He showed two songs which were not eligible, so I deleted them.  The playlist won't always sync.  Also, I just noticed that "icloud status" has disappeared from choice in "see the column".  That's where earlier and that's how I found the two songs which were not eligible.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you

  First of all, it was an honest typo, I was not looking for the wrong thing.  I have big problems getting Quick Time to work on my computer.  I have re - down loaded, download Itunes, downloaded the package combined download of two of them.  Nothing will work.  Here is a list of all the error messages I received in the last two days:

  Quick Time #0 error, please make sure that QuickTime is properly installed on this computer
  The plug is not properly initialzie
  I tunes of assistance was not installed correctly.  Please reinstall Itunes Helper.  Error 7
  Errors occurred during the installation of the updates.  If the problem persists, choose Tools, only download and try to install it manually.
  And finally...
  Application has failed to start because CFNetowrk.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix.

  So, I register QuickTime, iTunes and Windows problems.  So where can I find a way to correct my mistake of registry which cost no money and has download their parties _ who pay you and it still does not work.

  I don't know if it will work, but it has helped other people who have problems with installation of these products.  Save the download to your desktop.  Right click on the Setup icon, and then click Run as administrator.  I know that you are probably already connected as long as administrator but believe it is sometimes the case for some reason that I don't understand.

  There may be a problem with another Apple program interfere with installation of itunes (specifically the itunes help). http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2256415.  Here's the gist of it:

  Uninstall the Application Support from Apple, iTunes and Quicktimes (if these, two are displayed as installed).

  (From this moment until reinstall us Application Support, Apple, QuickTime nor Safari 4.0.4 will able to run.)

  Then, we'll remove all the leftover program files and folders.

  (1) open the "disk" Local (c) or according to drive it your program files are stored on.
  (2) open the "Program files".
  (3) with the right button on the iTunes folder (if it still exists), then select 'delete '.
  (4) return to 'disc' Local (c) or according to drive it your program files are stored on.
  (5) open the folder "Program Files (x 86)".
  (6) with the right button on the iTunes folder (if it still exists), then select 'delete '.
  (7) staying in "Program Files (x 86)", open the "Common files" folder.
  (8) open the folder "Apple."
  (9) with the right button on the Apple's Application Support folder (if it still exists), then select 'delete '.

  Now, empty your Recycle Bin and reboot the PC.

  Reinstall Phase

  After restarting the PC, do not open other applications. Disconnect from your network or the internet. Turn off all your security (firewall, antivirus and anti-spyware) software.

  Now start the installation in a right-click on the iTunesSetup.exe file and you downloaded earlier and then clicking Run as administrator.

  Re-enable all security software before you reconnect to your network or the internet.

  The FPR application failed to start because CFNetowrk.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix.  Make sure you have all updetes installed Windows - and I mean all of them (except for device drivers).  Do a manual check and install whatever it is, it comes with and then do another manual check and do the same thing and this follow up until no new update is presented and confirms that you are using the SP2 for Vista (Start / computer / system properties and it should say SP2).  Otherwise, manually install SP2 and rerun through the exercise of updates (or check it out before you start making updates).

  Once you've done all the preparatory steps before the downloads, repair. NEt Framework 3.5, uninstall programs, you must uninstall (if you can, or as much as you can according to the instructions) and then reboot the machine to make sure that you leave cool.  After the downloads, but before the installation, turn off all your security software and antivirus software in the case where there is a conflict of something.  Make sure that no other programs are open.  Then follow the steps in the update, then the measures re - install.  Then restart.

  I hope that the two products work now.  I don't think we need to do something for your registry database - weather (it's all these other programs that are the problem).

  Okay, short of a Mac, I'm completely in the Apple gear with my devices.

  I'm all mounting upward so, made sure that all my t were crossed and i's dotted. Yes, color me surprised when my old 120G Classic iPod appears in ITunes, but not registered as one of my devices in iCloud (he is quite present in the "my support profile, as it should").

  It's very confusing, and I don't know what to do with him. It works well, sync in iTunes as it should, clearly shows my property, but here, it is not a 'thing' in my iCloud.

  iPod (except iPod touch which is a device like the iPhone iOS) is not associated with your Apple ID.  Your iPod is associated with the iTunes library to synchronize.  Your computer and its iTunes library can be attached to your Apple (and iCloud), but your iPod is not.

  NOTE: Your iPod is on your Apple ID media profile, but it is only for warranty service purposes.  There is no direct functional interaction between your iPod and your Apple ID.  Your iPod does not interact with iCloud somehow, and there is no Internet connection.
