Providers can offer an extended warranty on SOME products, also free (actually included in the price). 1 year is the norm for your machine, you will need to contact HP (or online help) to buy additional coverage.   Turns out that ATT had me on their business plan and not the personal (with tethering the phone and the whole software Setup was weird - including the browser... that didn't go to page net media (don't ' don't ask me how).)
