Registry conflicts

I've been tinkering with my pc that I bought a usb adapter and I need to install its software. When I tried I got error message 1406 impossible to write in the value... And I went into regedit played a bit and long-term with the keys in hopes of getting the software to install. However, he did more harm than good. My pc is a ux hear no sound, I canoe access all folders or file Explorer and my internet icon has Red Cross (I have internet however) I tried to start in safe mode and enter codes on the command prompt, but nothing works.  Can I have help please.  Thank you.

I thought about it. It was actually very simple. Since I had fiddled with my registry settings, which prevents my pc of its access to its pilots, the best solution was simply to return the registry to its default settings. I have tried a lot of things like the last known good configuration start-up type system, scan of malware etc restore all these were ineffective. The solution was simply to download that registry a reset tool for as you guessed it, return the keys to its default values. The tool I used was the Tweaking.com window repair tool. I've used the tool and went in the repair section, chose repair registry and restarted. My pc was back to normal. This message is for people who may have had this same problem and has many long methods that simply do not work. (I can like you, I've tried everything) If you need a little more information about the registry repair tools, you can watch the youtube link attached. This video helped me a lot.

  • Satellite Pro A200 - 26 minutes of normal time remaining?

    Hi all

My laptop Satellite Pro A200 is a little over 1.5 years (or young: P) and I have a huge problem with the battery - it only lasts for a total of _26 minutes_ under "high performace" mode in Vista - other modes the power increase time to 5-7 minutes.

I've tweated the system configuration for:
    -too few programs running at startup;
d ' use as little memory in what concerns the graphics (as in the disabled vista themes and operations "fantasies" show window contents while dragging).
    -stay on the low light.

The programs that run at startup are my anti virus (F-Secure) and ATI catalyst control.

I also cleaned the registry conflicts and scan for viruses regularly.

I used Ubuntu on this laptop as well and the battery life is not that much better, which leads me to the conclusion that the battery comes to an end.

I was wondering if this duration of battery life (26 minutes max on high performace) is normal for a laptop after only 1.5 years? * (I don't remember how long it has lasted when I first bought).

Also, I have a laptop from other manufacturer of 2 years and its battery lasts a minimum of 4 hours (on Windows XP).
The two laptop batteries are 6 cells.

Any suggestions on how to improve my battery life?

    Thanks in advance.

    > Satellite Pro A200 laptop computer is a little over 1.5 years and I have a huge problem with the battery - it only lasts for a total of 26 minutes in "high performace" mode in Vista

Battery working time depends on different factors:

If parts of different hardware such as CPU, GPU, HDD, ODD, display perform better performance then dramatically decreases your battery work time
In addition, if you lose a stronger battery (9 or 12 cells cell) then you should be abele run Notepad a lot more time using the battery power.
In addition, the battery loses the own performance systematically and after a long period of use, you will need to replace the battery.

However, if you wish, you can check the Vista Power Options to increase the working time of battery:
    Here's a nice article:

But in the worst case you will need a new, stronger battery

I have a problem with the main PC.  No printer is displayed in the Control Panel printer page. When I try to add a printer the message tells me that the print spooler does not work.  I also get the error: "error 0x000006e". I tried all the usual bugs (via Services', etc.) without success.  Gives the print spooler to think it's on; I have reset several times and he shows IT, but it does not work, says the message I get when trying to add a printer.  I have attached the sfc/scannow process found no corrupt files. I tried a 'restoration' without success.

The laptop can find the printer, a Canon Pixma MP 550 and it works well but the right main PC cannot find all printers in the control panel or through different programs (WORD, etc.) and will not let me add a few.  The home network seems fine and both computers recognize each other and I can access files on the other computer.  But on the PC, there is no printer on the network.

Also, I tried the canon Pixma MP 550 "My Canon" routine Diagnostics.  It did not find the printer even when it is plugged directly into the PC's USB port.  This could be a problem of LPT 1?  So, I don't know how to access the LPT to reconfigure.

I also opened OUTLOOK and WORD and tried to add a printer in this way, but I get the message: "the Active Domain Services are currently unavailable.

  • iTunes backup fails - Solution: conflict with ZoneAlarm

For the last 2 months my iTunes (12.3.3) on Windows 7 has been doing more slow slow and glacial as when attaching an iPhone or an iPad (iOS 9.3) for synchronization.

Last week, I started to receive messages from "backup failed...". "and occasional 0xE8000003 and unable to connect at all errors.

Apple Support Articles are excellent and give you all the variants. I tried:

    (1) different cables USB-brightening

    (2) different USB ports

    (3) turn off all firewall and virus software

    (3) change the iTunes library for the last one which had sync

    (4) by removing the Lockdown folder

    (5) removing all the old backup files

    (6) replaces the backup files with those who worked from a Mac

    (7) uninstall and then reinstall all the software Apple

    (8) repeated several times in different order

Finally, I called Apple Support... which were promptly, asked all the right questions and eventually degenerated the problem to engineering. I can't say enough good things about the apple (Attaboy Gabe and JD) support. What is particularly remarkable because my problem was clear Windows on a PC!

In the meantime, I decided to try not only leave my protection software (CheckPoint ZoneAlarm Extreme) but uninstall. After an uninstall using 'Clean' removal of Checkpoint app, I discovered several registry entries and many services are still active. Most annoying, they have been services that I had never activated to start (ZA Privacy Service, anti-theft ZoneAlarm and Zone Alarm AntiKeyLogger). Start in safe mode, I finally could remove these services and remove all debris from the registry.

Success. iTunes is now responsive again and fast when I plug an external device!

The lesson learned for me coming out of the firewall and antivirus that has worked in the past to isolate conflicts as it did not remove its tendrils in Windows as advertised. Even uninstalling was incomplete and left debris.

    Zone Alarm, followed...

"They just released a new version today which lists the indefinable Fixed: incompatibility with ITunes" in the notes.

The previous version that caused the problem was released on February 16, 2016, but there is no information in their support on any issues site.

ZoneAlarm is repeated consumption of abnormal resources guilty and former bad behavior with iTunes. They blocked again.

  • Conflict between Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and drawers of power on Tecra M5

There seems to be a bug in TosBtShell.dll and hope this alert could get fixed in a future revision. Possibly it will save others the effort that it has cost me to track down the problem on my Tecra M5 new. I had to give up Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and now using XP SP2.

When the Bluetooth Manager is running, TosBtShell.dll updates the element ' Bluetooth' beside ' send to ' in the context menu of files and folders. Unfortunately it is in conflict with the shell software improvement Power drawers http://www.dynamickarma.com/powerdrawers.htm that I defer to speed up access to my files on the computer. This software allows you to right click on a folder to view its contents in a list. Then you mouse to any folder in the list and give him also as a sublist - and so forth as deeply as you want until you reach the folder or file you want. Right click on an item in the waterfall and you get a list of useful options. However, if the Bluetooth Manager is running when you do the right click, power drawers breaks down and you must close and re-open explorer.exe to recover.

The conflict stops if you remove "to Bluetooth" in the context menu of files and folders. I proved this by using ShellExView from Nirsoft http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html to disable the registry key "Bluetooth File extension" [sic]. This key is associated with the C:\WINDOWS\system32\TosBtShell.dll and the CLSID {6BEF3D0B-53F0-4b0d-B91C-C19ED3D4C9D1}. Unfortunately the registry key back again every time that you restart the Bluetooth Manager.

    I tried everything,
    restarted router

    restarted wifi
    but no use...
    scanned with antivirus 3 PC.
    any solution please...

That's what I thought one time too many. I was getting an ip address conflict. So I had the longest possible security key. When I logged into my router and checked the statistics! He was there! a MAC address connected to my router on my computer.

What I did is I enabled MAC filtering on my router and I have allocated specific to my computers IP addresses. In this way only my computers can connect and they are forced to use a specific IP address so no conflict ever occur.

Perhaps you can hide the message in right-click your taskbar and click Properties, and then clicking Customize and choose which view to show/hide. If this does not work, I'll try to find where, in the registry, hidden item are referenced and see if I can hide the windows errors.

    Hi chrisgregorio,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. You have a security software on the computer?

    Method 1

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 2

What I don't understand is how the registry is damaged when all that I've done is install everything from scratch.  I have a Dell Dimension 5100 running Windows XP Home Edition w/SP3.

    Hi LiveToFish,

    1. What is the problem on the computer after reinstalling Windows?

    2. don't you still get the errors blue screen on the computer? If so, then what is the message on the blue screen?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then check the cables
