Reinstall the audio and audio device.

I have a big big problem to find the audio driver and volume control. I was remove some software from "Add or Remove Programs" and I accidentally deleted the audio driver that is the volume of the computer. Day after tomorrow, I went on youtube and and listened to some of my favorite tunes, but I was surprised because I couldn't hear anything in my headset or speaker. I wonder why and I was wondering if I should check the volume to the taskbar control and then there is no volume control icon, as it disappeared. Then I went to the control panel to check the 'sounds, speech and Audio devices"If there is a problem going on there. Then I click on "sounds and Audio devices". and then a window pops up where it says "sounds and Audio devices properties, then I saw that there is"No Audio device".» Now I don't know what to do to recover the sound and audio device to my computer. I tried to install some drivers for my computer, but it does not help. And the only thing I can think of right now is to contact a technician to fix this problem. Please help me. What can you advice that will help my computer to reinstall this device, I will gladly appreciate it. Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help me!!! ..... :(

    Hi dc2nice,

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

Check whether the sound card is installed on your computer. Follow the steps below:

    a. open the Device Manager by clicking the Start button

    b. click on run

    c. type devmgmt.msc

    d. expand the section audio controllers, video and game to see the sound card you have installed.

If this article does not appear or is not sound card, your computer does not have a sound card, or the driver for the sound card has not been properly installed.

If you do not have a sound card, obtain and install one. Contact the manufacturer to check the hardware configuration of the computer and make sure that the sound card is installed.

If the sound card is already installed then update the sound card. You can check the link below: how to troubleshoot sound problems in Windows XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307918

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

    c. to the title sound, video and games controller, check the sound card that is listed.

    d. right click on the sound card, and then click Uninstall driver.

Step 2: To see if an updated driver is available, use Windows Update or access the sound device manufacturer's Web site.

Follow these steps to do the same thing:

    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

    b. click Systemand click on the hardware tab, then click Device Manager.

    c. the title sound, the video controller and games, make sure that the sound card is listed.

    d. right click on the sound card and then click Update driver to install the latest version of the driver.

    e. visit the sound card manufacturer's Web site to determine if a newer version of the driver is available for download.

    Problem Audio XP

Here you have a sound problem.  When I open the sounds and Audio Devices Properties on the volume tab, it says "No. Audio Device" and the Volume of the device is grayed out.  I made sure all the drivers were updated to the title of his in the Device Manager.  Note also should not be the sound card since I was able to get clear audio when I boot Ubuntu (dual boot machine).  In addition, under Startup audio component services\services\windows type is set to automatic.  Does anyone have an idea on what setting I'm missing?

I had an experience with the audio device that all drivers are loaded correctly. Finally, after loading the audio Framework, device package is started.
