    Hey LauraR1991

If you have your acer recovery disks, you need not buy new vista

you already have a license of vista

The acer recovery disks are to reinstall vista on how you purchased your computer

If the disks from acer that you aren't below recovery disks link is to buy vista directly at acer recovery disks

  • Get an IRQL error when reinstalling Vista on a formatted HARD drive.

My (HP a1700n) office has been very slow, perhaps a virus. I ran Norton NIS and also had Norton disk utilities cleaner. Before that the Office stopped completely, I was able to shoot the important things (pictures, videos, etc) nothing else I could lose and wasted. I decided to start over and reinstall the Vista operating system, since I don't have the disk. Has gone so far as to choose the partition and after that he began to «analyze...» "it froze and gave me some kind of error that the partition not could not be found or something like that, well I deleted the partition with the recovery partition since I created a disc a new partition using all the available space, but now I get the not_les_than_ error message. I only go as far as to choose the partion and starts to analyze then the BSOD appears. I did not add anything other than a 1 GB of ram and I removed it, so now the computer only has the 1 GB it is came with, everything else is what came with when I bought it 2 years ago. I don't know if it's hardware related or I'm doing something wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you get BSOD when installing, try the Vista repair Forum for advice and give them all the details of BSOD error.

  • I reinstall CS4 after failure of hard drive and everything works except Acrobat 9 Pro. I'm under El Capitan on MacbookPro. I reinstalled Acrobat but when I open I only get Word to Acrobat in the finder without options and it does not open.

I reinstall the CS4 Master Collection after failure of the card logical and all work EXCEPT Acrobat 9 Pro. I'm under El Capitan on a Macbook Pro. The program worked with El Capitan until the logic board failure - I use it every day.  I reinstalled the entire Collection, but when I open I get that Word to Acrobat in the finder without other menus - the application does not open. As a first step, I get an error message.

Acrobat has detected there are missing components

    Adobe Pdf Finder

    Adobe PDF Viewer plug.

I tried to uncheck the boxes, but no difference.

How can I get an operational program again? If Acrobat Pro 9 is no longer supported, how to get a version supported by software that works on my computer?

    Thank you.

Thanks for the explanation. I actually have to install Acrobat and it now works. I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader XI (I think, http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/11.x/11.0.02/en_US/AdbeRdr11002_en_US.dmg ) and opened the program. I noticed that after I opened the new drive, my Adobe Reader 9 program began to work. After that, I tried to open Acrobat and instead of getting the error 6 message that I had before, I had an error on a question of license that would require me to uninstall and reinstall the software. Once I did these steps my Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro started working! Don't know why my program, but it is fully functional again. I hope it helps someone else, I have why I came to answer.

  • Reinstalling Vista on a new hard drive in a Dell XPS420

It went well until Vista was finished all the updates that are accumulated. He says that my Windows is not genuine, and he refused to go further than the connection. The Windows CD is Dell and it came with the computer. My Dell warranty expired a long time ago. Can anyone help?

  • Having trouble installing new drivers after installing a new hard drive and Windows Vista.

I just installed a new hard drive on my computer of dell inspiron 1525. I managed to do it and it worked. I had a disc from dell to reinstall windows vista edition Home premium 32-bit and had drivers and utilities dvd. However I couldn't connect to the internet. I understand I'm missing some drivers but I rebooted the computer, but it goes to the black screen asking you to start in safe mode, safe mode with network, normally and something else. But after trying all of them, it goes straight to this same screen. What can I do? Or I can clear the new hard drive and start over? Any ideas?

my hard is damaged in some portion.can, I changed the new hard drive and reinstall Windows vista with the existing product key?

    Hello

Yes, you can reinstall vista with your product key on the new hard drive

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • How to install Win7 on new hard drive and still access all the files from the hard drives of previous Vista?

I currently have a Windows Vista PC. It has two SATA drives, one with the operating system, the one I use for storage.

I want to buy a new SATA hard drive and install a new copy of Windows 7 top.

I want to know the steps to follow to do this. My plan is this:

    1. turn the pc power off and open the case.

    2. remove the old hard disks

    3. plug the new empty hard drive

    4. turn on the pc and the insertion of the disc to install to Win7 for DVD-ROM drive

    5. enter in the bios and put the DVD-ROM as first boot device

    6. install win 7 on new hard drive.

    Is this correct?

Because my next question is important:

    7. Turning off the computer.

8 reconnect the two old hard drives. New total number of SATA drives connected = three.

Now when I restart the PC and login to Win 7, it lists two other drives as, for example, D:\ and E:\ readers?

How can I make this work?

    Thank you very much!

Thanks for your reply, but I don't want to dual boot. I just want to have the hard drive as the master drive Windows7 and the old two drives as slaves, where I can access files as the pictures and letters.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Well, I would disconnect all drives hard current interns, then connect the new hard drive, reinstall Windows 7, re - attach the old readers as slaves and copy all the data you need to on the disc of Windows 7.

Original title: ok, so I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1128tx Entertainment Notebook PC

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1128tx Entertainment Notebook PC right... and my hard drive crashed just completely, I had a new hard drive and now I want again to install windows Vista on it, but I don't have a restore cd but I have a back on my old operating system... What can I do? Help?

is there anyway that I can restore my operating system...?

    Hello

What do you mean by: "I have a return upwards on my old operating system?"

You make an image and with what program?

If this is not a picture read more.

Contact HP and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Reformat the hard drive and a clean reinstall of Vista

    Hello
I was wondering if you could advise me if this is possible.
I have Vista on a partition, a home machine built dual boot (with XP), who begins to fill. I decided to stop using XP, which

is sitting on the second partition of the hard drive, and I want to reformat the disk and a partition with Vista on it. Taking into

mind, I'm not bothered about losing all the data and save nothing, in my opinion, I don't want to lose, can I just reformat the hard disk into a single

Partition and reinstall Vista? I'm sure that the answer is Yes, but my main concern is to ensure my "serial key" is accepted and that the activation

process will go smoothly. Read other messages I prefer not to use Vista to reduce the size of the XP partition and prefer to make one

    clean install.
Your help and feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Yes. Do a clean install of Vista and leave this formatting occur
the first stage of the installation.a

I'm sure that the answer is Yes, but my main concern is to ensure my "serial key".

You mean the product key, not series.

is accepted and that the activation
    process will go smoothly.

You can reinstall and reactivate as many times as you need or want.
No problem. Worst case, if it's some time since the last
activation, you may need to activate by phone call, but it's
    quick and easy.
