    I recently had a Win7 computer down and I decided to buy a Win7 upgrade solid x 64 computer.

Reloaded all my apps I had on the old pc (couldn't use the old hard drive.  He's dead!  New system has SSDS)

Each top-up went fine except for my CS2 software.

He said that I had to activate my software.  Not much so I tried via 'internet' and received a window "Activation Server is not available".

So, I went "Phone Activation" and got a window with my serial number and an activation number, with the Activation Type: Normal 24:24

He said to call 866-772-3623, which only said to go to www.adobe.com/go/activation everything which was take me for an explanation of the activation page who basically told me to do what I had done in the first place.  for example, no help at all.

I tried the direct number: 206-675-6222.  (The number was disconnected)

So my question... How can I get an activation code of my CS2 software?  Where should I go, either by phone or through the net?

You need to acquire a special version with its special activation code.  See the following...

  • How can I recover my favorites after having reinstalled Win7 and Firefox?

I had to reinstall Win7 and Firefox and now need to find my bookmarks file and put it back in Firefox. What is called, and where is it located?

These backup files are compressed and not human readable. You can use it to completely replace your current set of bookmarks using the rollback feature (see beyond the dates at the bottom of the menu "Choose file...).

Important: A restore completely replaces your current set of bookmarks. If you have saved any new bookmarks you need, add a few steps:

    (1) export current bookmarks to a file as HTML: Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks
    (2) then do the restore
    (3) import this file in HTML format: import bookmarks to an HTML file
    (4) move the Bookmarks imported into their correct locations (they should be a folder of bookmarks imported somewhere on the menu bookmarks or Unsorted bookmarks)

  • Reinstall win7 with a new HD

    Hi all

just ordered a new sata drive to replace the hd broke for my W510. I'm trying to install win7 on it, but it seems that win7 doesn't recognize the drive and ask for a driver. (The BIOS recognizes the drive).

so the question is how to install win7 on the new drive? where to download the driver for it? What is the issue of win7?

anther thing I've tried is to restore the Acronis backup to the new drive, but after that the restoration process is complete, windows does not start with the error message "BOOTMGR is MISSING", is there a way to fix this? (while it save my time to reinstall everything from scratch.)

    Thank you

What has your reinstall media? If you use a USB stick, plug it into the yellow USB port on the back instead.

  • SOLVED - reinstalled win7 will not recognize iomega hdd1h4

    Morning

I had to reinstall win7 due to file corruption. No harm to clean it anyway.

Everything is done, everything works fine except Win7 does not recognize my iomega HDD1H4 backup disk.

I used it for a few years without problem. I have established that the drive is functional and accessible (under linux), so it's a matter of Win7.

I did no BIOS or hardware changes.

(Hardware) troubleshooting says he finds something (the device may not have been recognized) and made a few changes and I should try again.

Still not recognized. It does not appear in Device Manager.

    Any suggestions please?

    Hi again reda

    Problem seems to be resolved!

I downloaded an update of the Asus chipset - makes no difference.

I am normally reluctant to use these driver-check-and-setting programs up to date but I decided to try one of Iobit - I used some software Iobit earlier. So I have downloaded and run Iobit pilot Booster 2. He showed three drivers, including drivers AHCI and IDE, as being very obsolete. I took a gamble and install.

Immediately after the start, the Iomega hard drive has been detected and was readable. I tried several times and each time that it has been detected immediately I turned on.

The only thing that is different now is the icon in the taskbar "safely remove material and eject the media" no longer displays NONE of my records. Previously, he showed all the drives (and their partitions) which were in use. I don't know if this is important - I can live with that.

I don't know why this was not a problem until I reinstalled it Win7?

In any case, the problem seems to be resolved.

I'll wait a day or two before marking this resolved.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • reinstalled win7 Home premium, need product key

Hello, as in the title, I have reinstalled my laptop with win7 home prem who which was preinstalled when you bought the computer and as you know with a new installation, ask your product key.
Well, many people probably have the same problem as me, the sticker of windows security on computer background with the product key to this topic has disappeared.
the copy of windows 7 Home premium that I use is a bootleg copy that I download from some torrent sites, I know that it's ok because I used it to reinstall the other computers, and then using the product keys for computers.

as far as I know or have been told by a tech guy that fixs for a large company named computers is that the product key is engraved somewhere on motherboards memory and can be retrieved.
does any 1 know how to retrieve the product key of this way of the motherboard.

any help or advice would be welcome, thank you.

    Hello

Your product key is not engraved on the memory of the motherboard in Windows 7

You need the COA sticker with the product key, but it's faded away.

Your choice is now limited in what you can do without having to buy a new product/license key.

    Because Windows 7 is pre-installed:

You can contact the manufacturer of your laptop and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

The installation of the "pirated" copy process may have ruined this option

If you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery on the hard drive Partition to reinstall Windows 7 back to the way in which you bought your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

The methods above resettlement generally do not require allows you to provide a product key during Installation, the recovery process uses the Installation product key factory to activate automatically during the resettlement process.

    See you soon.

  • Reinstall Win7 with Digital River iso and upgrade license?

I have a dell computer shipped with XP. A few years ago, I upgraded to win7 by buying a license to upgrade through the microsoft store.

They gave me the download link no longer works. I downloaded the full win7 Professional x 86 version of digital river, but I don't know if it will work.

Can I format my hard drive and reinstall win7 using the iso Digital River, my win7 upgrade license key and my xp license key?

As long as you have a license (product key) for Windows 7 Professional, Digital River download will work.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • * PLEASE HELP! How to reinstall Win7 on s205 w/o Recovery Disk?

After installing Ubuntu 10.04 as a dual-boot on the Live CD OS, whenever I turn on the netbook I get the start page of Lenovo, and then a white screen and then the start page, then white screen... loop infinite!

I tell myself that if I reinstalled Ubuntu as the OS boot simple deletion of all the rest on the HARD drive, it will work very well, but I really need to keep Win7 for professional reasons.  I don't mind losing my docs in Windows, I just want to keep the operating system.

What are my options, if any?  Is there a way I could use the product key of MS Win7 on the bottom of the machine to get a direct download of the operating system?

    Thanks for your help!

There is the button (arrow sign) that you can use for okr but if you make changes on the volumes, it will stop working.

  • Vostro 3550 wireless turns off after reinstall win7

I reinstalled win7 on my vostro 3550, and now I have no wireless on WLAN connectivity.

Diagnosis of Win7 tells me to turn on wireless capabilities, but when I run Wi7 Mobility Center, the without thread appears, but there is no option to turn on the radio.

It's a Dell 1702 b/g/n A00 install folder picked up dell support pages.

The chipset driver for the chipset HM67 is also installed.

Everything worked until the relocation is not a hardware error.

I suspect that the resource of win7 DVD at the origin of the error.

Anyone with the same problems or a solution to my problem?

The magic word is "Fn F2". This function disables / enables radio on the wireless network card. It so there's no way to turn the radio power in the selection of the drivers of the setting, but only a material implementation on "Fn F2"

  • Need to reinstall Win7 on spectrum XT Pro - drive not found/no drivers

    Hello

I have a ultrabook spectrum XT Pro, on that I need to reinstall Windows 7.

I support Windows 7 on a USB key (as there is no optical drive) but the installer cannot locate the ultrabook SSD and it seem not to be all install drivers on the driver product page.

I suspect that the detection problem is probably due to IDE mode to use, but it doesn't seem to be an option to change this in the BIOS. I'm not looking to do a BIOS upgrade, but this must be launched from within Windows and the spectrum does not start on the desktop (hence the need to reinstall)

    Enjoy all the assistance

Just in case anyone else has this problem, it turns out that Windows does not find the disk hard if you start from the port USB3 (the one on the left side of the device). You must use the port on the right side.

  • To get permissions on partition sorted after reinstall (Win7 - > Vista)

Hi, I used to have Windows 7 Home Premium (32 bit) on my computer, but for many reasons, I decided to reinstall Vista Home Premium (32 bit).

I have 2 partitions: one for Windows and program files (c) and the other for all my personal files (d) nicknamed libraries.

When I reinstalled, I formatted C: but left alone D:. Now, Windows wonder admin permissions just to move files to and from different folders!

I have already set permissions of owner over the entire partition (less the startup folder, as apparently that's where the BootMgr is) "Alucai-PC\Administrators" and "Users (Alucai-PC\Users)" to have full control.

Should Windows always be prompting me for administrator permissions if users have full control?

Should I make users be owner instead?

I have one account user on this computer, and this is an administrator account.

Anyway, I solved it myself by changing the permissions of the property "Alucai (Alucai-PC\Users)" or similar. All I had to do was look a folder on the C: drive (IE my Dropbox folder) to see its permissions, and then set the permissions of the D: drive to the same.

  • Try to reinstall Win7 on DV6-2167

My Win7 has become corrupted on my DV6-2167.  I was unable to save the Member of the boot to repair through the ERD Win7, so I'm not looking to re - install Win7 via a. ISO image that I downloaded from the Digital River site.

I am able to boot off the coast of the ISO, but I always get the error 0xc0000225 of Windows code.

I'm not a noob.  Microsoft is almost pushing me completely on the edge of Linux.

What I may be doing wrong?

    Thank you.

Try to start with a utility cd to delete all partitions, create 1 partition & format hard drive. I had good results with the free Partition Wizard. Scroll the page & download the iso to Bootable CD here ! Download ImgBurn here to burn the image to a cd.

Once all operations with made PW try to start with your Windows disk again. Don't forget to unplug external devices such as printer, etc. (you can also use the test drive included in the cd PW)

  • How format/reinstal Win7 without losing my data

I had a problem with laptop of my vga, and now it turns out that my windows you have something eror, it won't go on the desktop / user account, just on the windows loading screen.

I need to format/reinstal my windows curent, without losing all my data, but how?

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.
