Reinstall Windows 7 since the recovery on a laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 Partition after FORMATTING of C:

Hello

I desperately need HELP! I formatted my laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 and reinstall a copy of windows 7 after noticing several virus on my pc. But I doesn't not delete or format the Partition recovery. The recovery partition is intact. I now have to recover my pc to the factory of origin of windows settings , but I don't know if it's possible and how. I didn't know I could just use the Dell Datasafe from the beginning before formatting my pc (stupid I am). I handed a letter to the recovery partition (f) and know I can see all the files included in it. After searching for a while, some people suggesting to run the cmd following under 'Tools' dir (ED I can't find):

imagex /apply f:\dell\image\factory.wim 1 c:\

Can someone help me please? I really need help with that! Can someone give me instructions what to do?

Thank you

Chris.

Hello

Don't need you to worry, by making use of the formatted partition recovery software you can easily recover files after formatting the hard disk partition. Few days back, I spent the same similar problem where in lost some important files due to the installation of the OS. Then I tried this recovery software which really helped me to recover files after the installation of the operating system. So, you can download this software by following the below mentioned links.

    Hello

I don t know the solution 100%, but I can give you some interesting proposals. Maybe this will help.
So first of all, you should access the BIOS and should set the BIOS default settings. Then exit the BIOS, but don't forget to save the settings.

If you have an original CD of Microsoft XP then try to boot from them and format the HARD disk and delete all partitions on the HARD drive.
Then switch on the recovery CD and try to use it again!

  • Qosmio G20 - how to reinstall Windows XP without the recovery DVDs?

I am trying to install windows XP on the laptop. I bought the Qosmio without the reinstallation cd. It has no operating system installed on the hard drive at all. Everything is OK, until he asks for raid drivers, then he said: put the disc in the drive "a". There is no player on the G20.
I need to buy a USB floppy to do this, or someone has solutions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

As you know already some units Qosmio supports RAID function.
If you want to install the OS from Windows, you must first install the RAID driver.
The RAID driver you will find on the page of the Toshiba driver.

    You have three options:

    1. you will first install the driver disk RAID, and then you could install the operating system from the original CD of Microsoft Windows.

    2. you create a Windows clean boot CD with application called nLite (as mentioned above)
This application allows you to create the CD of the Windows operating system with additional drivers as RAID

    3. buy the original recovery CD Toshiba with the Toshiba service partner in your country

Without driver support Dell you would be silly to force an upgrade.

    But if you want too,

Just buy a new hard drive or ssd and replace the existing one and keep it in case the 10 is not training.

Download the iso and make it bootable on cd or flash drive and install win - 10 to the new disk.

Ive reinstalled my windows xp through the recovery on my computer several times trying to change my language to English... but it keeps French

    Hello

    1. What is the base language that is installed on the system?

You must install the English language pack.

I advise you to review the eligibility criteria for the below mentioned link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/language-packs#lptabs=XP

Windows XP has Language Interface Pack provides a version translated from the dialogs used more widely, menu items, and help content. You may be eligible for the same function of the XP license.

After you install the language pack, you will need to change the settings on your computer below:

    a. in the menu start standard Windows XP, click Startand then click Control Panel.

In the start menu classic Windows XP, click Start, click settings, and then click Control Panel.

    b. double-click regional and Language Options.

    c. click the languages tab and then click details under "input languages and text Services.

    d. click Add under "installed Services", and then click the language you want to add and the keyboard layout you want to use for that language.

    e. to configure the settings for the Language bar, click language under "Preferences" bar

When you reinstall Windows correctly, you start from the CD. Is it
    what you were doing?

If so, the installation starts formatting the disk for you, then all the
    your files are gone.

And by the way, reinstalling Windows due to an infection by the virus is
almost always way exaggerated. There are several very good anti-virus
programs that could probably removed the virus for you.

  • Can I format HARD drive and reinstall Windows 7 on the Qosmio F60 without CD

I think my hard drive is faulty on my F60 Quosmio so I want to reformat the hard drive to see if that will fix it. But I don't have the original packaging and the information with me at the moment so I don't know if it came with a windows 7 CD or not. Whatever it is, I don't have the CD.

I found on the net that most manufacturer who deliver without CD include a "recovery partition" or "factory image partition" which you can access during startup. Anyone know if the F60 Quosmio comes with a CD or if she has this recovery partition or partition image factory? Or do you know if there is a way I can check if my computer is it?

If you have more information about the formatting of the hard drive and reinstall windows 7 without the CD please let me know.

    Thank you.

The laptop came with a Windows disc, because there is a Toshiba recovery disc Creator called tool which create the recovery disk.

The recovery partition was available and it allows you to recover the laptop without the use of the recovery disk, but it does not work if the HARD drive has failed.

So, if you n t have a recovery disc and can not recovery Notepad using HARD drive recovery, then you have two options:

-You must install Windows operating system using a disc of Microsoft

  • Windows vista USB flash drive installation AND recover the WINDOWS KEY from the recovery disk

    Hi all

I formatted my laptop some time ago. Now I want to reinstall windows vista (came along with my laptop). The thing is due to a problem that my CD drive does not work so I would like to install windows vista by using a USB key. Can you get it someone please let me know if this is possible... If Yes, how I've go ahead make a bootable USB.

As someone can tell me if there is a way to retrieve the WINDOWS KEY from the recovery disc.

    Thank you.

    Hello

This can help, but you will need a Vista system to create the working bootable USB key:http://www.askvg.com/how-to-create-bootable-usb-drive-to-install-windows-vista/

As for the product key, it should be on a sticker on the laptop (usually on the bottom). If it is not readable, contact the manufacturer for further assistance. As we said already, the product key is not on the installation disc.

Replace broken laptop optical drives is not too difficult, you can see this as another option.
