Reinstallation of Windows Media Center XP error, the application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135

I had to install a new hard drive after the death of my old. I use my Dell recovery/reinstallation disk. The first time I tried installing that it froze after the reboot. I then did a repair installation (twice) and each time got the following error:

PxShare.exe Application error.

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135).  Click OK to close the application.

It appears at the end of the installation, but when my login screen is displayed, it shows only one account, administrator and request a password. I have not configured any accounts when I did the installation and you do not have a password. I tried to enter without password, using admin as password and check-in safe mode did not help - it still asked for a password.

I don't know if the two problems are related or not.

Thanks for any help!

Rodolphe/Spyware/Malware infection, blue screens don't have an option to click OK to finish or even forget that you can click on anything. If you do not work in safe mode or even last known good configuration you can try a repair installation, but you can still loose data like that. I would just pull the information you need out of the HDD using a speaker and then wipe and start over from scratch. Don't forget to scan your files if you do not import everything using a speaker. However if you can access the mode safe mode with networking, try to download malware bytes and running (don't know how its spelled) it will remove files such as _is27.exe which is a (Rogue.Installer).

Ok. What I wanted to say, this is so that YOU can see the file, you must be able to view hidden and system files. Windows will however see the file any if YOU can see it or not.

Make sure that all check boxes are cleared in 'Filter Options '.

    Hello

You can try the steps below and check if that helps. You need the Windows XP installation CD to go forward with the steps below.

    (a) use the Recovery Console, which is described in the article below.

    (c) then type EXIT and when the pc reboots, you should be able to boot XP.

  • each program indicates that the application failed to initialize properly (0 x 80000003)

I have a dll file missing... winhttp.dll is missing... would not copy when I installed windows again after an accident of his windows xp professional cannot update any programs, can not open the components in the Control Panel, cant run updates or install any programs, keep the error message above... help please , its my mother in laws, grandchildren computer crashed it and im desperately trying to get his return on pogo playing popit... all I need is pogo to work and Outlook for his mail... Ive downloaded the .dll file but I can't open it or extract it or use the run... I can get online and discovered pages... that's about it...

I have a new addition of copy and paste to my notes that I expected to see a lot of use:

    Dear: :

Running sfc/scannow will not replace the winhttp.dll file missing.

Why you post methods that do not work and will be just wasting time?

Hove you never even seen this problem before, tried to recreate it so that you can actually see, or have you never really fixed?

Why you learn not what sfc/scannow does and does not do?

Here is a simple test to you and all your colleagues in the technical support engineer:

I beg you to perform this simple test to know how the sfc/scannow:

Boot your system to Safe Mode or the recovery for the Windows File Protection Console does not run.

For this example, we will use the system critical file winhttp.dll.

Rename or delete your c:\windows\system32\winhttp.dll.exe file so the file is now "missing."

A critical file, is it true?  It is on the list of the file 3498 knows the Protection of Windows and SFC files, but now he isn't.

If Windows File Protection is running, the "missing" file would be quickly and silently replaced (try to rename or delete it in normal mode and it will be quickly and quietly replaced).

You follow own advice and run sfc/scannow to the end.

The winhttp.dll is always had disappeared, right?  Did run sfc/scannow replace the missing critical system file?  No, it does not.

How can he be so sfc/scannow is supposed to replace the missing system files?  This is because it is not this that sfc/scannow does.

Now you know sfc/scannow does not.  He did not replace your missing system file (don't forget to put your back winhttp.dll so you will have a).

Now, go to c:\windows\system32\dllcache and delete or rename the file winhttp.dll from there - and it will be gone and not replaced automatically because the Windows File Protection does not seem after this record.

    Run sfc/scannow in full again.

Replace the file winhttp.dll missing in the dllcache folder, since it handles missing files (not the system32 folder) IS the folder that sfc/scannow.

    Now you know sfc/scannow does.

  • The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000005)

When I run some applications (I guess point net apps) they come with this error in the application. This error appears when I run my Visual Studio project (when I run debug file). It still happens if I create a new project. This affects several applications. The event type is a popup of the application and the number is 26. It is related to this error I get when running applications on VB2008 "could not load file or assembly 'Project name' or one of its dependencies, the specified module could not be found. Boot in safe mode always comes up with the error.

I can't find a solution to this problem. Apparently, it happened when I ran a particular application or something else of editing the registry. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
