reinstalled windows Xp on my new laptop of balance. While making downloads for updates, I get error code 0xc0000005. How can I fix when I can't boot up the laptop?

I reinstalled Windows XP Pro on my laptop.  While making the updates, I had received service pack 3 and was now the next updates download.  It required a reboot and would not start giving me the 0xc0000005 error code.  I can't even in safe mode.  What can I do other than to start again

How can I boot from the Windows 7 Installation CD so that I can reformat the hard drive before reinstalling Windows 7?  I have already reinstalled Windows 7 from the CD, but that has not solved my problems.  When I put the factory CD in my CD player, it won't always boot from the CD.  When I put my Windows 7 Ultimate CD in the CD drive, it doesn't always start from the CD.         I realize that the reformatting is not always necessary, but I caught a few viruses (despite anti-virus running) and I need to start with a clean hard drive.

You must go into the BIOS and change the boot on CD order
    first push.

How to get into your BIOS? It is not dependent on Windows, but on what he
motherboard/BIOS card that you have. In fact, you need access to the
BIOS before Windows begins to start. A common method is to press
the key delete when you turn on first, but this is not necessarily true
    for your computer. Watch the display carefully when you start first;
There is often a message here to tell you what to do. If this is not the case, check
your system documentation or check with your provider.

  • When I perform a windows update I get error code 80070643 _

I am running windows 7 home Premium (64-bit).

I have MS Office 2010 installed as well.

    My problem is the following:

Whenever I'm doing an update of windows, all updates will install successfully but one. Its an update with the title "update of security for Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (KB 957789).» And the code error 80070643.

This update still fails to install. And is flaged as an important update. Also, I don't understand why it appears in the list of updates because I don't have MS Office 2007 is installed. The MS Office installed on my laptop is MS office professional 2010. And I never installed another version of MS office on my laptop except MS office 2010.

I also noticed that whenever I stop my PC the same message appears saying: "1 update is installed, do not unplug your pc.  I don't know if it's related to the problem or not.

    Help, please.
    Thank you

    I solved the problem.

No more update "Security Update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (KB 957789)" appears when I do a windows update and no more the messege "installation update 1 of 1 in the process... etc" appears when I stop my machine.

    That's what I did:

1 not installed MS Office 2010

    2. run windows update and everything was nice and smooth. And the update "Security Update for Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (KB 957789)" does not appear in the update list.

    3 - I stop my machine.

    4. restart the machine and re-installed MS Office 2010.

Everything is nice and smooth and no error appears when you perform an update.

Can someone explain what the problem was?

    see you soon

    original title: error code 80017AA7

Nothing has worked.  I couldn't use the fix - it that it would be closed, with an error message. Finally, I reinstalled the operating system to "of the factory" - he did not seem certain viruses, malware or anything else that would not allow 2 different anti-virus and malware software works correctly.  What I found on other sites, it was the only solution that has worked for others.  A lot of work, updated from the first day and all reinstall.  But now, I have no problems, then?

  • Delivers the Windows Setup program, when you make updates I get error code 641

I use Vista Home Premium. When you perform the update of windows I get 641 error code. In addition, had 'Installer could not access' trying to download QuictTime.  I read the posts of severl where people thought iolo System Mechanic may have caused a registry problem. I contacted iolo on the problem, and they mentioned, that there is a registry problem with 10.8 SM, I think. They said that they are working on the problem. They have called for a snapshot of the system and said: your question has been referred to our support technicians to senior level for further research. I had to have a response within 24-48 hours; However, I have not heard from them yet. Is there a way I can reload Windows install? A simple help would be appreciated. Other than the update or install delivers the computer is running fine. The tenth of May was the last Windows Update to work.
