  I do view Vsphere 5.2 implementation Horizon. Implementation goes smoothly, but I saw a c disk space difference of Parent and Linked clone.

  Windows 7 with Service pack 1 built with optimization script to disable unwanted services. Free space on the drive c image parent is 3.90 Go. When I put in service a clone related in this snapshot of parent picture I found free space in linked clone vdi is about 6.5 GB.

  Please specify if anyone face the same or it is normal in the linked clone.

  You use a disposable disc?    When you use a disk file page flies on this disc which may explain the difference in free space.

  1. with respect to the first question: your system files have been corrupted. Do a System Restore before the app was used.

  Try you "tune up", "maximize", "registry cleaners" or any what kind of app that promises to improve the performance of your PC somehow. None of them improve anything, often at the antipodes (as you discovered). Microsoft W7 already has all the apps. you need to keep your PC in tip-top condt. Try not to add anything.

  All these various named apps. are all 'snake oil' and very dangerous to use. However, you will find a lot of 'logic' online promo. material from "authoritarian" sites as to how will be beneficial for your PC. Not drawn in by these Advertorials :)

  2 the hidden partition is probably "restore to factory condt." partition rescue/recovery of the manufacturer of your computer. This can be used for the rescue of PC when things diabolically wrong with your operating system and cannot be set by any other means. You need an ISO image (clone) of the OS partition and MBR (master boot record) only, not the entire HARD drive.  Including the partition of relief are a very good idea but I'm not familiar with the software cloning you use.

  Download Macrium Reflect free edition for purposes of cloning and recovery and make the CD

  image recovery disk. He advises you to do so (by steps in the simple wizard driven) before using the program for anything regardless of whether the image.

  Clone

  A clone is a copy of the virtual machine.

  You can't convert back the cloned Virtual Machine.

  I am trying to understand the interaction between the image and the snapshot used to define the pool and pool record itself original.

  The latter is used to create a replica that is a read-only copy of the virtual machine.   When your linked clones are created, they are related to the replica.

  You can absolutely use snapshot to multiple pools, if you choose.

• SAN replica Clones - Ghost drive

  I have been using the SAN replication and cloning it on my local machine using the iSCSI initiator.  After that I'm done with the clone, I disconnect him from the iSCSI initiator.  Set it offline, and then delete the volume.

  I noticed that I have a ghost disk used for the cloned volume.  There is nothing I can do to get rid of it and release the drive letter.  It does not appear in disk management and diskpart.

  Is there a way to remove the phantom drive?  I'm disconnecting the reply correctly?

  Ok.  After restarting, next time, do not set it offline.  Close all Windows Explorer, or whatever it is that is accessed.  Then log out via iSCSI initiator.   See if that changes anything.    Otherwise, restart and try to delete the partition before disconnecting.   There is no need to set offline in the first disk manager.

  Otherwise, try a different version of the OS to mount the replica.   Window7, for example.

  Here is a very basic screenshot of the general idea. This is not labour code, nor should it be used exactly as it is here. I leave pending references. Once again, warning, it is just to show a concept. Here, you have 3 loops, each of them put data in the logging queue. The loop of logging removes the data and writes to the log file. You may need to make your part of queue have an identifier so that you know where the data comes from (for example, using a cluster with a string or enum which defines the loop which transmitted the data, and data). This way you can write on the correct cell in your worksheet.

  Just like what I mentioned on my previous post that if you disable the DHCP server that router will work only as a switch & if this occurs while a computer will be able to have the internet connection.

  Yes to calculate any member you're on it will pick up the value of the parent for the calculation. I'm guessing that your member of zeroOneFlag has #Missing a zero or a 1 in there to determine if the premium should really be applied.  So, it seems that in some cases you copy the premium from parents to children. I hope for only one child because if you run an aggregation he would give the parent a multiplication factor of the number of children you seeded with values.

  You can do the SUM of accounts / UDA in the expression (the first parameter @XWRITE).  According to the documentation, you should be able to place an expression that returns a numeric value.  Just put everything in a MESS doesn't work pas-@XWRITE each of these intersections will be seen as a cell separate to write to the target; He doesn't know you want to make the amount of them.

  First of all, you must make sure that the schema already exists in your relational model.

  You can use the method

  public void setSchema (String schemaName)

  to associate your Table with this scheme.

  (This method is defined on ObjetConteneur, so it can also be used to make and index).

  If you already have a user of your physical model that implements your schema, it is not normally necessary to create a user on the TableProxyOracle in the physical model.

  However if you do not want to set, then the method to use is

  I want to renew my SSL certificate on my view Security Server version 5.3 (and view replica server).  I used server different to my request for cert, finished the required on this server, and then exported the full certificate with the private key.  I have it imported the VSS and reversed the friendly name of the current certificate to OldVDM and ensured that it was set in VDM.  When I restart services, VMware View security gateway component starts a minute and then stops.  Anyone out there have a better procedure of installation cert or give me advice on what I'm doing wrong.  I also installed the intermediate certificates on the server.

  So after trying several types of format, I managed to do the work.  I was told to use the PKCS #7 format, however, when you try to do that in IIS it gives you an error.  Also, try to renew the original certificate in IIS gave an error as well at the time of renewal.  SO, what has worked a new cert request, getting the cert to the x.509 format, installed on my alternative server, THEN you can export to PFX format and includes all the correct information.  After that I installed on the VSS and restarted services, which seem to do.

• CBT is activated on the related to recompose clones

  I was see mistakes where the recovery of the space was not on all my linked clone VMs.  I took the problem to the fact that CBT is enabled on all the linked clone VMs.  However, it is not activated on the VM parent.  When I recompose the parent, CBT gets enabled on computers linked clone virtual.

  Some information:

  CBT has been activated on the VM parent, it has lines of the 'ctkEnabled' and 'scsi0:0.ctkEnabled' in the configuration settings.  But they are both set to "False", which, according to VMware 1031873 is how to disable CBT:

  To disable the CBT:

  1. Power off the virtual machine.
  2. Right click on the VM, then click change settings.
  3. Click the Options tab.
  4. Click general in the Advanced section, and then click on Settings of Configuration. The parameters setup dialog box opens.
  5. The parameter ctkEnabled the value false for the corresponding SCSI disk.

  I think that this could be a bug where if the parent VM has the defined parameter the. VMX, it will allow the TCC on the linked clones regardless of whether it has been set to "False".

  I can confirm that suite VMware KB 2032214 like you mentioned in your other thread worked for me.  Adding the ctkDisallowed = "true" parameter to the parent VM's VMX file and recomposing neutralizes indeed CBT on the linked clones.

  I used the tool vdmadmin on the login server to manually run a recovery of space who succeeded:
