  In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

  Check also on the incompatible software... it was reported that NTI Shadow Ninja & software can cause a conflict; Remove and reinstall the desktop software BB allows to install correctly.

  My apologies in advance if this is redundant - there is no way to be sure that if you have already seen and tried these. Also apologies if all are not currently available... RIM takes their monte and descends at will as they revise things.

After all this I am trying to add my email address to emails settings of installation but still I can't add my email using my blackberry too. Oh there!   Can I ask my friend and try to connect using my email from a friend and tadaaaaaa! my friend can connect without any problems.   I have a windows mobile 6 smartphone (Samsung Sgh i-780). It is coupled to my PC (win 7 race) as PAN via bluetooth and it works fine. I have set up connection for ActiveSync using the selection "com7" as described on this Web site. I've matched PC and mobileusing 'add new hardware '. The PC is recognized with a port 'ActiveSync', but when I want to "connect Bluetooth" bluetooth (Menu in Activesync on mobile) partnership, is not recognized. Control to the list of partnership confirms that the PC is always OK!
  What I don't understand, is that everything looks ok, when mobile was not already associated with the PC as a device of the PAN. Very strange.
  Does anyone have the solution or advice to solve my problem. It's a shame not to be able to use all available facilities provide a Smartphone.
  I got to mention that the problem occur while PAN connection is not in use (PC not connected through PAN and mobile not connected to the internet).

• ActiveSync connects via Bluetooth

  I have just reactivated my cell phone after 2 years of no use because of an accident. I have always used ActiveSync to synchronize my Outlook on this pc to my phone. The phone is a Motorola MPX-220. The pc is a Windows XP Tablet. I recently downloaded and installed ActiveSync to back up on this pc after a reimage Windows XP Tablet.

  The phone connects and very good ActiveSync with the USB cable but I can't connect via Bluetooth. I tried and tried. On the phone, you can open ActiveSync and then press Menu at the bottom right and press 3 to select Connect Via Bluetooth. But nothing ever happens.

  ActiveSync on the phone says connection for a while and then not connected. Below that it says synchronize with Windows PC and then below it says errors: 15/11/2010-21:15. The errors Word is blue, so if I hit the Center enter button, a message opens up saying unable to connect. Check your remote access settings or proxy are correct, and then try again.

  I don't know what it means to me or what I should do. My home pc I'm trying to sync with is a tablet which has turned on Bluetooth. There is no proxy or by modem setting I have ever been. It's Time Warner cable with a simple Linksys router to share internet and printer via wire to 2 PC and wireless for iPod to my daughter.

  Could there be a problem with firewall that is new is due to the fact that I use now the antivirus Security Essentials, which has also a firewall, I think?

  I use the simulator using VMWare workstation. A problem that occurs is that my Simulator is impossible to connect to BBM. • Software USB connection blackBerry disappeared

  Two days ago, I supported p my Q10 with BB Digg.  Today, I tried to connect through the same USB cable with link BB and two other programs, but the PC still says "Disconnected" or "Unable to connect".  Under network connection & phone says USB "connected."

  The phone does not appear on Windows Explorer and is not listed in Device Manager.  Following the advice on a Forum, I uninstalled link BB (+ BBB and drivers) and installed the latest 1.2.0.52.B59 that reinstalls the latest driver.  I restarted the PC, but am still unable to connect.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

• How to force the connection sharing network and update password for the partnership offline synchronization of existing file?

  I use Windows 7.  When I connect to my VPN, I sync to a network folder.  I have an existing installation of offline file partnership to synchronize.  Often, it takes a while after that I connect to my VPN for Windows in order to get account I am connected and are trying to connect to the network share where the "synchronization of offline files" option, likewise, becomes available.  I have no way to force a try.  I tried to leave the computer at night and it connects.

  The other problem is that it means that I can't access all the folders not synchronized because when I try to connect to the network share server, it only shows the files offline.  He's not trying to connect to the real server.

  Now, I have a new problem.  I changed the password on the server.  Now when windows determines that the network share is available to sync, and I try to sync, I receiver a sync about login/password error.

• BlackBerry Smartphones not connect BlackBerry Bold 9900 to Volvo V70

  I have a Volvo V70 ("nine") 2013 and want to connect my BlackBerry Bold 9900 (os version 7.1.0) using BlueTooth.

  The car does not recognise the BB.

  If I turn the car in "Discover fashion" and on my BB begins to search for a BlueTooth device, it does not find 'My car Volvo' and it allows me to listen to music. However, if I select "Search for phone ' fromout the car, it does not find my BB (BB, BlueTooth = ON / detectable = WE).

  According to the dealer, Volvo has done successfully test the BB with OS 7.0.0 9900.

  The trader has also improved the software in my car ==> stil does not work.

  Someone knows how to fix this?

  The other option would be to downgrade my BB with OS version 7.0.0, but I do not know if that this will solve the problem.

  FYI: Also my BB 9900 has been tested with a brand new Volvo V70 2014 model ==> does not work either. Same question.

  The last post in this link shows what to do. I did this on my BB and was able to connect now successfully my BB to the Volvo V70. I had to redo the matching 3 - 4 times, but then it worked.

• 'Connections' blackBerry smartphones on... But no emails come through

  I can't receive new e-mail messages even though many came via Outlook. I tried the following:

  • Perform a Soft Reset
  • Performed a Hard Reset
  • Go to 'Manage connections' and all the connections off tension, then back again.  After shooting it back on once again, the Mobile network has a check box to the left of it and a green check mark on the right.

  I see several bars in the upper left corner which lead me to believe that wireless is enabled.

  The story is that I left the blackberry in my car to charge overnight.  When I'm in my car at midday, it appeared that I had received messages until 09:00 this morning, and then it suddenly stopped.

  I have no idea what's going on and I scoured these pages to try to find a solution, but none seems to fit this Bill. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you!
