  I am unable to remap my Direct Connect button for an app or something like the calendar. When I go to the menu > settings > applications > Quick Launch, I have no option to remap the side button, all I see are shortcuts for the letters a - z. Am I the only one having this problem = D?

  If you have active with Sprint DC you won't be able to remap the DC button on the side, because you will need to use the option of DC.

  If you do not DC active with Sprint you 'll be able to remap the DC button on the side that you wouldn't be able to use it to DC and are able to remap it to something more useful.

  For the DC remapping button when the domain controller is not active on your Admiral goto: settings-> Applications-> quick launch.

  I try to use control Slider and time re-Mapping to animate a lip sync animation. Trying to add an icon for selecting a the effect time remapping for the slider so the mouth will be more credible. However when I alt click on the time remapping button I do not get the ability to use a whip of pic to add it to the slider control. What I am doing wrong?

• How to remap a non-working contol button on a built-in keyboard

  I am running XP on a toughbook; the key to control sometimes does not work.
  I looked for ways to remap the key control and we found many third-party programs that are supposed to help with this and have also heard that MS has a program for that.  I would stick to a cure for MS but so far no luck finding this program or running "mskey".

  What should do?

  I got a nb10t Satellite Pro, good machine but key card looks really bad for me, [Home] and [end] keys are really far from arrows, really narrow [Tab] key, slowing really office work.

  How can I remap keys, for example to the value [home] [Fn] + [above], and {End] to [Fn] + [down]?}

  Found RemapKey Microsoft, but does not have the FN key.

  According to the mode settings special function key, you can use the function key (F key) with or without pressing the FN key extra.

  The FN key seems to be a characteristic of Toshiba and I don t think you could remap the FN key.

  However, you can try to install the Remapkey.exe that is part of the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit. The remapkey should allow you to change the functionality of the button.

  Also, the 3rd third-party tool like autohotkey would be good enough to make this work.

• Qosmio X 770: multimedia function backlit buttons does not

  I've had my x 770 for about 6 weeks now and about two weeks ago that the function buttons multimedia backlit has stopped responding. The rear lights are always on but nothing happens when I touch them.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled the value-added Package but that did not fix it.
  I ran the recovery Partition Toshiba and factory reset, but that did not fix it.

  The button in "HWSetup" setting is "enabled" for buttons and sounds. I also tried remapping the buttons using the ' button '.

  Can anyone think of something that I missed? Does anyone else have this problem?

  It's really strange that this function does not work even if using the recover Toshiba HDD and the laptop back to factory State.

  Please check the BIOS settings.

  In my case there is an option called Illumination and I can enable and disable the lighting directly in the BIOS.

  You can use carbine to remap a key for pretty much any other key.

  A glance does not show a default option for what you want (Fn-> space), but it is possible to customize the keyboard somehow, once you have under the hood.

• Lenovo G560 keyboard works do not at all

  Keyboard laptop Lenovo G560 of my brother stopped working really suddenly, he was trying to connect to Facebook; When he went to type his password, nothing on the keyboard worked.

  It seems that your keyboard is dead. Contact lenovo helpline for free replacement if you have a valid warranty.

  I bought a couple of seconds for the W520 hand that accompanies Windows 10.

  LN two machines you cannot interrupt the start-up with the blue zThinkvantage button.

  Research I've done seems to point to this remap after Windows is loaded, which does not at all help.

  The Thinkvantage button should launch recovery for the W520 menu. None of these tools of Windows 7 will work on Windows 10 and there is no possibility of mapping of the key in something similar. The W520 is also not on the official list of Lenovo for Windows 10 support either.

  You can always hit F1 to enter BIOS and configuration during the boot sequence screen.

  Select "Teach", "Teach Full mode"

  Click on "start learning mode."
  Press the button of the calculator. You should see number fill in the '#1 key scancode.
  Press the left CTRL key. You should see the numbers to fill in the '#2 key scancode.
  Click on the button "remap key #1 to the #2 key.
  Click on apply, and it will ask you to restart.

  After that, you will have now both left-CTRL keys.

  You can also use this app to remap the other keys.

  Please confirm this solves the problem, then click on "acceptable" if it does not help, you can click on Bravo if you like also.

  To enable the memory remapping, I suggest you enable in the BIOS and check if it helps.
  BIOS - how to enter the BIOS?
  Each computer is different, when you turn on the computer, it should tell you what button to push to get into the BIOS. This is usually one of the following values, and you have to push it in the first 5 seconds: F1 F2 F10 F12 ESC LED
  Once in the BIOS find the menu with the remapping of memory, it is different on each computer.
   
  Enable memory remapping feature
  Check the BIOS settings to see if the memory remapping feature is enabled. Remapping memory access Windows for more memory. You can enable the memory remapping feature in the BIOS by starting the configuration of the system.   We are permanently configured and cannot be changed unless you used some kind of remapping utility which I highly doubt they will hold these buttons.

  You can try. Software download: comfort wireless keyboard but I have a suspicion, it won't help. Keyboards just the built in XP drivers.

  You can enable wireless (and bluetooth) by pressing fn + f5, then you can go wireless on/off button
