  Have you installed any other tools or utilities, or have you changed a few settings?
  As far as I know you need the infrared receiver only to control the MCE Win.
  The receiver is plugged into the USB port. Please check in Device Manager if the receiver is recognized. Also, check the cable of the infrared transmitter is also related.
  However, if you are working with the Qosmio player receiver should be removed from the unit.

• remote control stops working

  I have a 600PC Touchsmart with TV tuner comes with a remote control to control TV channels / volume... etc.

  It worked well for about 12 months. Now, the remote control works well when the PC is first turned on, but then stops working after about 20 minutes.  Only, it works again when the PC has been activated and turn it back on.

  I replaced the batteries and the remote control - but this happens again - which leads me to think that this is a problem in the PC itself.

  This may or may not be connected, but at the same time - the wireless mouse has stopped working and I had to buy a different mouse wth a wireless transmitter, connected to a USB port and now works fine.

  Any ideas what could be the problem?

  To see if it solves the problem, follow these steps:

  1. "control Panel."

  2 system.

  3. "Device Manager."

  4 expand "controllers of Bus USB"

  5 right click on each of the items listed individually and select 'Properties' for each item. If there is a "power management" tab click on it. Make sure that the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power " unchecked.

  6 click on "OK" and "restart" your computer.

  If they are not already checked, simply reply with it.

• Try to get a wireless remote control to work with Flash presentation... Help!

  I know almost nothing about Flash or Powerpoint.  They gave me a Flash presentation that I need I want to show at meetings using my wireless remote control, but I can't seem to move forward and backward between slides (works very well using the arrow keys on the keyboard to laptop - Windows XP Pro).  The remote works fine with Powerpoint presentations, so I don't know the remote is ok.  Is there some setting/order I have to run my Flash presentation with my remote, or do I need a special remote control?  I have already spoken to the remote support (Keyspan/TrippLite) and they were totally unknown wirh Flash and said simply that their device works with Powerpoint, as announced, which was true, but they could not help me with Flash presentations.  There, can someone help me?  Thank you very much!

  Thanks a lot for all the help.  I see a lot of situations where I can use the functions available through the use of SharpKeys2 key mapping, as well as a few other programs I 'discovered' during my travels recent (KeyTweak + AutoHotKey).  Even better for my situation here, I just got a more advanced model Keyspan remote (PR-Pro3) what Flash handles submissions very well - I have no idea why - and nor their tech support, apparently.  Anyway, the PR - EZ1 will come back to Newegg and I'm fortunately wireless practice of my script for my Flash presentation - working remote in hand!  Take care.

  Siri on ATV4 is pretty basic in its functionality and reliability in terms of understanding people. Apple is working on it to bring it to other countries and more people. Siri on ATV4 is an all new Siri. It does not use the same databases as the 'old' Siri, we all know from our iDevices. It will take Apple some time to update ATV4-Siri. Now we have only two choices: return the ATV4 if you are not happy with its current features, or wait for the updates of tvOS.

• Why the iTunes remote control app get access to music from Apple on my Mac?

  I'm used to control my iTunes on my Mac with the Remote app. My Mac is connected to my stereo, so this used to be the ideal solution for remote access to my music. I have recently subscribed to music from Apple, but the remote application does not support this. Apple will do an update to allow remote access to Apple's music?

  Well, I have figured this out by myself...

  Removed the battery for 5 seconds - Sprint/Nextel calls this a Soft Reboot - somehow clarified the issue with the bluetooth buttons does not.

  I wonder how many times I have to remove the battery in order to free the bugs in the system...

• Remote control not working properly

  CS3 on xp

  In the preview window, I am unable to navigate correctly between the buttons... usually I go down one and the selection begins... WITHOUT hitting the Center round button the select button on the remote... the section highlighted begins to play. I hit exit and return... the highlighted button is the second... I can then go down one more... and the content... a chapter... begins to play.

  The same thing is happening on TV when I burn a DVD.

  I called Adobe support and they want to reinstall me the program.

  Any other ideas? Makes me crazy, that should have taken minutes and it took days. Think back to Nero.

  I have CS3 on XP and have no problem with that.

  You can create what you have by setting the autoactivate buttons, so check that.

  Toshiba A500 user manual provides information that some Satellite A500 models are included with the remote control of the slim waist.
  So I guess it would be possible to order a thin size or normal remote control of a unit of the A500.

• I want to do an exhibition of 30 sec on my EOS600 Rebel T3i, using a remote control.

  The manual says to put it under the light bulb.  Last year, I just did an exhibition of 30 sec without the remote control.  I am trying to determine if the remote control supplied with the camera does not work (Zeikos ZE-WRC6, I changed the battery has not also available) or I'm doing something wrong.  The manual says to put the ios in the bulb setting.  That makes no sense to me.  The remote should not work on any setting?

  The remote control only works in the position of 10-second self-timer, but this isn't a problem because the answer is instantaneous, not 10 seconds, when you use the remote shutter release.

  I started having the same problem today.  I tap the icon of the IOA, the screen "flashes" the normal screen of the application, then return to display of the icons.  A document that I recorded in the 'documents' AiO section presents itself as a secondary screen.  Flushing this secondary screen did not help...

• Impossible to use the IR remote control after you install Touchpad

  I have a C40 that was used with the infrared remote control successfully for months. I recently installed a Touchpad plugging directly into the 2nd port eNet.  The software is underway at 6.2.0.  Immediately after that I have connected and started using the touchpad, it was noted that the unit no longer meets the IR remote.  The base of the camera flashes when ar buttons pressed on the IR distance indicating that the IR signal is received, but there is no response from the codec.  Is this a "feature"?  Can I use the remote and the touchpad?

  Touch screen and remote control cannot work side by side. Once the touch screen is connected, it takes full control of the on-screen display, allowing no changes from the remote control. This is expected behavior.

  I just returned from vacation and my remote seems has stopped working.   Naturally, my first assumption was that the charge was simply exhausted.

  Apparently that was the case.   He seems to have just died.

  I did pay for more than two hours and it still does not appear under devices Apple TV.

  1. Have you tried pressing the menu and the button for a few seconds while it now an inch or two away from the Apple TV, if successful, you should see a message on the screen saying the remote was paired.
  2. If you have an older remote from a previous model MacBook or Apple TV, you can use to restore the Apple TV, which, in many cases, has been sufficient to reactivate the remote Siri. You must complete all upward to undertake a restoration.
  3. If you have a USB cable - C you can try to restore by connecting it to iTunes on a computer.
  4. If you have tried all of these steps, don't have a distance sooner or a USB - C cable or their use is too inconvenient, return it to the store where purchased for a replacement, or to couple for you.
