RemoteApp on t610/WES8

Hello

I need to configure RemoteApp connections and office on a t610/WES8.  It works fine on the Admin account, but on behalf of "User" I have disable UWF, RADC configuration, then re-enable UWF or are there exclusions from file/registry that I have to configure?

How can I send connections RemoteApps and RDP on metro/Office of the 'User' from RADC account is not available in the control panel for this account?

Thank you

ZP.

All remote applications work fine when logged in as an administrator.

I tried to make 'The user' administrator account and I tried to configure local Group Policy objects to display all items, or to show precisely the RemoteApp settings but it still does not appear in the Panel when logged in as 'user '.

As long as administrator, I created a shortcut on the desktop for RemoteApp settings and copied from the user's desktop.  I was then able to launch and configure RemoteApp like the user and applications and the RDP connection appear in the subway, but I get a license error when launching a remote applications ("the remote computer disconnected the session because of an error in the licensing protocol... »).  I tried to disable UAC but no change.

I then logged on as Admin and exported / remove the "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing" key and restarted.  Now logged in as 'User' I get the error, "the remote session has been disconneted because the failure of creating store license with access denied... "Please run with elevated privileges remote desktop client '-which I can't do as the user (don't right click and run as admin) even with the" user account ", defined as an administrator.

I logged in as "Administrator" and launched a remote applications.  When I logged as a 'User' I was able to run all my remote apps and the RDP session with no problems.

TL; DR:

-Capture an image your thin client first
-Disable the UWF > restart
-Log in as 'Administrator' > configure RemoteApp connections and the Control Panel Desktop

-Right click and create shortcut for RemoteApp connections and office > copy this shortcut to C:\Users\User\Desktop

Export/remove "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSLicensing."
-Log in as 'User' and launch/configure RemoteApp and remote from the Office desktop

-Remove connections RemoteApp and desktop from the desktop shortcut
-Log in as 'Administrator' and launch a remote applications
-Log in as 'User' and check the work of remote applications successfully

-Log in as 'Administrator' and reactivate the UWF

(UPDATE: instead of delete the registry key, just give 'users' control group "MSLicensing")

Even if it's got the remote apps not working for me, I do not particularly like this as a 'solution '.  I prefer to see more control on the 'User' account and specify what the account and does not have access to in the control panel.  Any other ideas?

Thank you

ZP.

I am configuring a computer HP T610 with WES x 64 pre-installed thinclient. I have correctly installed the plugin Lync VDI (x 86) and have added the necessary registry keys:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync]

    "ConfigurationMode" = DWORD: 00000001 "

    "ServerAddressInternal"="lyncsrv2013.lync.local."

Also the VMware View Client 5.4 (x 64) installed.

The VDI machine is Windows 7 SP1 x 64 with office 2013 x 64 and Lync 2013 x 64. When I try to connect to Lync, Lync to connect local devices, but it can never.

This configuration should be able to work (Tech preview mentioned here: Troubleshooting: MS Lync 2013 with views integration & amp; #187; myvirtualcloud.net).

Someone did get WES8 x 64 working with view and the plugin of Lync VDI? Or I need to install x 86-based computer the Thinclient WES7?

He now works on the thin client WES8 as well. Certificate of the field was already imported on the computer thinclient, but the time zone and time was not correct on the computer Thinclient. After this correction, the Lync VDI plugin now works.

    -13WWDTBM602 #SABA #DABA

    -BIOS: L40 v2.05

    ------------------

Tried an initial capture before making changes.  First capture failed quickly with a network card driver error - I've updated HPDM 4.6 SP1 and was able to continue beyond this error.

Any following capture attempts result in a loop to initialize uneding.  The workstation creates a new boot option, "winpe [EMS ENABLED]", which he defines as a default value, which continually, it loads and restarts.  I have run this process for more than an hour before canceling the task.  All subsequent attempts create a new boot option or additional "winpe" with the same behavior.  I've updated the BIOS at this stage no change.

I also found that I am unable to the hell UWF until the administrator is to go to the taskbar or the HP unified write filtering via the control panel Configuration.  The lock is green and indicates the GUI of Configuration UWF UWF is activated but the new shortcuts office and downloads are left in place after the reboot.  Event viewer shows "event ID 1007:"unified write filter is not disabled, code 196608 output. "  The system does not have the specified path.  "I also tried to disable UWF using HPDM but received 14007032, write error filter.

Write research through the Configuration of the filter, I found that there is NO file/folder exclusion, considering that the TC I just shot of the multiple box including bootstat.dat and agent_persist.dat.

So... do I have a lemon here or what?  I have an another t620 that I confirmed I can disable UWF without any problems but I have not tried image but as I am a little worried about the boot loop and create the same problems that I saw with the original.  I'd be more comfortable if I could find a factory image HP download, but there is none available on the drivers & software page.  Can somene HP direct me to a factory WES8 x 64 image?

    Thank you

We have completely uninstalled HDPM and reinstalled 4.6 with a new database and imagery with success the t610 older.  Then we have updated to 4.6 SP1 and we were able to successfully image the t620.

  • Designjet T610: Designjet T610 of ink

I bought a T610 24 '' used tracer.  Downloaded the driver from HP.  Installation disc was not included.  Connected with the USB 2.  The printer is out of ink Cyan.  Waiting for a new arrival.  Have not printed anything yet, cause it does not print when I try.

It's as if the printer is not related to my office.

Is it because it's out of ink?  There is no message or error code, just cartridge is empty.

    Any help is appreciated.

The printer does not print anything unless the full set of cartridges are installed. Once you get the new ink, it allows to print without any problems. Just make sure the driver is installed on your computer has USB port selected.

  • T610 with HPDM 4.5 SP2 Image capture

    Hello world

I'm working on a project to reset the light clients T610 16.

The first thing I did was downloaded Windows Embedded 7 image on the HP site and created a bootable USB key to restore 1 on the T610 their State of origin. It went well and I have not encountered any problem here.

I use HPDM SP2. FTP share folder has been set up correctly and it was also successful.

    I did the following task:

    -Version of the update agent

-Change the settings of the IE home page

I guess that means that the connection between my T610 and the HPDM works well.

Now I want to capture the image of my T610 I have reset. I chose the Image _Capture task, filled all the information that has been requested and clicked OK.

    This is the log:

2013-03-22 11:22:36 sent successfully the task to the device management gateway

2013-03-22 11:22:38 task has been retrieved by the Agent.

2013-03-22 11:23:43 Capture image in the master repository.

2013-03-22 11:23:43 the common task cannot run.

2013-03-22 11:23:43 ErrorCode: 14031022, detail of error: could not download the file (s).

2013-03-22 11:23:43 the common task cannot run.

2013-03-22 11:23:43 ErrorCode: 14031022, detail of error: could not download the file (s).

Just after I sent the task, the thin client pops up a window saying that the administrator changed some blah blah parameter and restart the pc in 30 seconds. After about 20 seconds, another window pops up saying not exploit this pc or closed down, otherwise the update will fail blah blah.

Then the workstation restarts and I get a task that failed on the HPDM. I'm guessing the reboot of the T610 has caused the failure.

What I am doing wrong? I missed a setting?

I hope you guys can help.

    Thank you!

    Gideon

Thanks for all your help. I got it to work. It's a weird question. I changed the name of the ftp HPDM to root user account in FileZilla, then it worked. I thought that the username should not matter, but in this case he did.

According to the journal of FileZilla when capture FTP is not used, instead the Shared folder is also used (SMB).

I now have another problem with USB but I'll open another post for this.

So my problem from this post is solved.

  • T610: thin client, multi-imaging platform

    Hi all

IV ' e hoping to put this in the right place and someone can help or point me in the right direction.

I'm looking for information on Thin Clients and Device Manager (HPDM), specifically on best practices on building and image capture, cross-platform and imaging would be advantageous.

I am currently using HPDM Imaging for my thin clients t5470 and t5470e, t610, t620.

I'm looking for a few docuemntation on recommended Configuration of HP for Imaging. is it to make a "gold" image or it can be pre-determined by HPDM like Microsofts SCCM or WDT?

It would be fantastic if I could get it down to a single Image of WES7 for most of my Thin Clients if possible.

    Thanks in advance.
    J

HPDM provides no functionality of creating an image, tt just do capture and deploy.

The factory image include all drivers are built by HP R & D WES, there should be no one who can help you, but as far as I know there is no document to save the steps in detail. I suggest that you raise a ticket to impact to HP for help.

MDT can not be used to deploy the image provided by HP. When building the image, no matter it is an original image or Thinupdate captured image, HP has done little customization in/after imaging process. I don't think that MDT can identify and carry out even these customizations.

  • Parameters of the T610 IE not taking effect

    Hello world

    Here is some basic information:

-HP T610 with WES7 6.1.701.279 (I think that the latest version)

-SP 2 4.5 HP Device Manager

Capture image and image deployment are not a problem.

But last week I tried to change the homepage of a particular Web site. I created the task has sent all of the T610 (16 unit). The task ends well, but when I went to check the computer thinclient. The IE homepage is still pointing to HP Web site.

The strange thing is that, initially, I had it work without problem. (5 weeks ago)

Now it no longer works. Anyone could shed some light on this issue?

Also, I applied the tak to the user account.

    Thank you!

The unattend file used for sysprep is probably reset.  Change c:\windows\system32\sysprep\sysprep_unattend.xml before the capture of your image on the home page of your choice.

  • HP T610 more: HPDM deployment for t610 image more crashes during the installation of the new initial start of the image

We are working on the update of our thin clients HP T610 more.  Update us the thin clients in the last image of the OS WES7P and also update to IE11 and Citrix receiver 4.4.

    We use HPDM 4.6.4

We have successfully several T610s and update the image of the OS and related software with no problems.  We are then able to use the 4.6.4 to successfully shoot HPDM and image of these thin clients updated in the master repository.

We then create a task to deploy the new image to several thin clients.  We configure the task to use the imagery being cached, and then run the task.  HPDM then successfully deploys the image for thin clients.

Customers accept the image cache and once the image is fully downloaded they restart to deploy the image.   After the restart, the image unfolds and decompresses correctly, then the thin client, start the original installation of Windows.

But for 90% or more of these newly imaged thin clients that they get hung up during the installation of Windows (usually during the message that windows is written to the Registry).  Once the thin clients get hung at this stage they are inaccessible and unrecoverable by HPDM and must be copied via USB.

We believe that the issue is somehow related monitors are connected to thin clients.  If isolate us completely thin clients monitors, then deploy an image the new image is OK.  HPDM reports that the image has been deployed successfully.  If we then go back to thin clients and reconnect the monitors of the thin client is updated and the screen seems to be in standard vga mode low resolution.  A restart of the thin client then recognizes and sets the appropriate screen resolution, and the thin client is good to go.

What is normal sound monitors must be separated to deploy a new image?

Thanks for any idea or thougts.

From the point of view HPDM, disconnect monitor is not required when you deploy the image. Personal thought is that there is a compatibility problem between the display driver, graphics card and the system. Installing Windows intend to write a default registry value based on connected monitor (maybe display settings), for some reason, he was stuck. I'm not the driver or the operating system that you are an expert, I would say that you submit a ticket to HP for additional troubleshooting.

    Ok.

Try the ethernet drivers I compressed upwards and tied.  These need to be installed manually too.

The USB is sold by Texas Instruments, it seems.

  • T610: Light customer T610 remains stuck in the PXE boot

I'm currently converting our customers light windows t610 meter above the zero smart software. I had zero problems with windows pe, but on the test batch of 30 thin clients that I installed and configured for smartzero, I'm having a problem. Whenever they are restarted, sometimes they will come upward to the PXE boot instead of booting from the hard disk and the only way to get them to boo back to the hard drive is physically draw power. Anyone has any ideas on this?

Don't know how you have configured the server, SCCM, but as far as I know, it might be possible to program the network boot as the only method of priming via SCCM.
