Removal of music apps in dock

Updated to OS3 on Apple Watch, and I noticed musical application in dock.  I didn't want it, but can't get rid of it.  iPhone is not docked, but shows that it is in the dock.  Trying to get rid of it, I have now 2 music apps in the dock, and I can't get rid of one of them.  Cannot slide up to get rid of them, cannot use the phone to get rid of them.

Any who have the same problem or know how to get out them of the docking station?

You can try to go to the App on your iPhone watch > My Watch > general > reset > reset home screen presentation.

This should you bring to the point of departure on the layout and possibly remove the duplicates.

  • Apple music app crashing on iOS 9.3.2

Apple music constantly crashing on my iPhone 5 c running iOS 9.3.2. What can I do so that it doesn't crash more?

    Hello there kidflash266,

Sounds like you are unable to use your music app because it keeps closing in on you untimely. I would start by exit music:

Force an app to close the iOS

    1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
    2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
    3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

When you have done this restarts the phone and test the question again:

iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset

If the problem persists, I would next turn off Apple music and see if the problem persists after that:

    Go to settings > music...

    • Show Apple music: Apple music members can show or hide the music content from Apple. To hide for you and new buttons, turn off show Apple music.

    From: settings music

If it works, then turn it show Apple music and test the question once again to ensure that it continues to work.  It may very well be the case that Apple music data should be refreshed.

If the problem still persists and you have iCloud library enabled, then then I would say turn off this feature as well and new test. Please note that doing so will remove content music Apple you downloaded or added to your library from your phone. Don't worry the music will remain in your 'My Music' when you reactivate iCloud music library, but you will need to register for listening offline:

    Go to settings > music...

    • iCloud music library: With this option, all content on Apple's music are removed iPhone. Music that you bought or synchronized and remains music identified by iTunes game that you added to play offline.

    From: settings music

Then leave the music app once more, and restart again once I have described above and test its operation with this disabled. If it works, then re-enable iCloud library and test again.

If you do not use iCloud library, try to remove and re - sync the music data from your phone that came from your iTunes library.

1 uncheck the checkbox in iTunes as described in step 3 in the following article:

12 iTunes for Mac: iPod, iPhone, or iPad sync

    2. click on apply in the lower right. This will remove the songs from your phone.

    3. restart the phone using the article I posted above.

4 go back and put the check mark in the check box in step 3 in the same article in step 1. This copierait your music to your phone with the same selections that you had before.

12 iTunes for Mac: iPod, iPhone, or iPad sync

    5. test the music again.

  • iPhone 6 s think is store songs, but the music app does not work

I've upgraded to an iPhone 6s, and I restored it to my backup so that all my contacts on my phone.

I do not keep the music on my phone because it takes place, and I can just listen to my library of music to iCloud. However, each song that I play, my phone displays I'll keep the songs on my phone, but the music app always said that I don't have any songs downloaded on my phone. I'm especially worried about it because I had a problem with my previous phone where I didn't keep all the music on my phone, but for some reason any much space was taken over on my phone. I fear that my phone will fill with songs, but not recognize them (which can be irrational, but who knows). In any case, here are a few screenshots to show you what I'm talking about is about, what happens to someone else?

    1. you can see it says there are "59 songs" on my phone

    2. when I go to music app and search for downloaded music...

    3. it's screen (which indicates that I did not download the music on my phone)

    4. after a few minutes of songs, has increased the number of "Songs on my iphone..."

... And when I go to the "manage storage" section in the settings, the music app does not appear as an application that takes place (because apparently there isn't any music inside)

I'm worrying needlessly, or is my phone slyly fills with music?

So I discovered that after turning off "iCloud music library" under the "Music" tab in the settings, it displays much fewer songs on the 'About' page (although I still have none), and it showed that I had more than about 1 GB of storage space. So, I concluded that indeed, while I listen to music from my library iCloud, he should secretly Store songs on my phone (and perhaps easier streaming later?), and turn off streaming iCloud removes these songs. This is exactly what I wanted to know, but at least I can the hypothesis a little more on what iCloud music is streaming.

  • Cannot access the playlists in the music app

    Hello

I have an iPod touch with iOS 9.2.1 and since the new update I just can't go to my playlists. Whenever I click on it the music app breaks down. I tried to close all applications before you go, but that did not help. Soft reset also did nothing. I am at a loss to know what to do, and it's really bugging me.

Did someone knows a solution here? Google has also not been any help.

-Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost

Device iOS Reset: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to

ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Unsync/delete all the music and Resync

To remove all music go to settings > General > use > storage > managing storage > music > tap Edit in the top-right, then press the sign less than all music

    -Reset all settings

Go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset all settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as your contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) are not affected.

    -Restore from backup. See:

    -Restore factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Windows 8 music app has empty library

My music is stored on my hard drive for storage in the computer (D:\Media\Music). Windows 8 Pro is installed until my SSD (c).

The view of the office, I went to the library 'Music', the button clicked on «Manage Library» I removed the two default folders and added my D:\Media\Music folder.
Given that my music collection is a mixture of files MP3, Ogg and FLAC I installed WMP Tag Plus.
Windows Media Player for the opening of the office shows that my entire library, as well as the Ogg files and Flac are properly listed and playing very well.
If I go to the music app Windows 8 (metro app, which is the new name?), he said: "it's lonely here ' to the 'my music' section and the library is empty."
I could wait for the marks of a closed environment it is impossible to play Ogg and Flac files, but also ordinary MP3 files (and even some WMA files) are not at all, while Windows Media Player from the desktop them clearly lists in the music library.
So, how can I get my library is displayed in the metro music app? As I said, I added my folder (LOCAL!) in the music library of the desktop mode.
Secondary question: is it possible (and Yes, how) to play Ogg files and FLAC for the metro app?

I understand that this is an old question, but I hope that my solution helps someone.

As the user who posted the question, I have my music collection stored on another partition of a hard disk. It's convenient, because I do not lose my files when I reformat/reinstall operating system.

So, I did the following and the music app as magically began to recognize my music.

Right click on D:\Music (in my case), went to properties.
On the first tab, I clicked on the button Advanced attributes. On the pop-up dialog box, I checked
"Allow files in this folder to have content in addition to the properties indexed".

    That's all.

  • Unknown artist in music app for all m4as

My music is on my Windows Home Server v1. This location is added to my music library.

The music app in RTM of Windows 8 and Windows RT picks up all the music, but a good 30% of the titles are attributed to the artist unknown and unknown album.

I did some research and here are all the files m4a, rather than mp3s.

Windows Media Player takes these well and displays all metadata.

If I copy locally they appear in music app Windows 8 ok.

Why the music app Windows 8 do not remove the metadata from the network share.

I understand that the Photos app captures not things from one share WHS (at all) because it is not indexed by Windows 7 or superior indexer.

One of the team of music app would confirm if it is the same reason or if it is a bug?

It's to do with indexing. You need a windows 7 or above an indexer for the m4as to be indexed correctly, music should be sitting on a windows share 7, 8 or windows server 2008 or 2012.

  • How to remove the music in the Collection Cloud Xbox?

Does anyone know how to remove songs from the Collection of clouds Xbox? Here's what I did that did not work.

On my desk, I guess Xbox Music added my existing Xbox content to my Collection of Xbox clouds. I deleted all my content but I did some of it in the Xbox Music and some of them outside by simply deleting the music files. I then restarted Xbox Music. It then downloaded again a part of the music. This time, I deleted the music of Xbox Music. Of course music removed and did not return. However when I plugged my tablet to Xbox Music it download music.
How to erase songs on the online Xbox cloud Collection so he will leave added these files on my phone and my tablet. They appear on my desk more. I thought to remove the Tablet, but I want to see what others say first.

Ah ha! I uninstalled the music app and then re-installed. My Collection of clouds Xbox now works as expected. Somehow he thought that it had already downloaded the files.

  • Impossible to update the music app with the error 'cannot play... '. Error is C00D11CD (8004b82e).

Original title: musical Application will not play music. Error: C00D11CD (80070424)

Whenever I try to play music using the Windows 8 music application, I get this error: C00D11CD (80070424)

I tried everything on this page without a bit of luck:

I have another solution! for 0xc00d11cd (0x80004005) error when you try to play a song.

The problem is not on xbox music app, the problem is where does xbox music takes the information:

MUSIC LIBRARY, according to me, is a bug related to the cloud sync, so I deleted all the local music located on the cloud.

(Recommendation: move your music to a different folder)

    1. just go file browser

    2. right click on the left panel (where the file system tree is displayed)

    3. Select Show library (just in case where that is not displayed)

4 remove the old music library (it's just a library, it will not delete your music)

    5. right click on libraries

    6. Select this option to restore the default libraries

    7. open the music library

8 Add the folder where you want your music (moves first in an internal folder as a suggestion)

    9. open xbox music

To add all your music again.

The error appears because the xbox music cannot find the path to your music. In my case, the library has been altered, and he couldn't access it.

I hope that helps you as it did with me.

Microsoft, it is the source of the problem, please check if your could synchronize is damage system library files

  • Music app will make no sound

The music on my iPhone app 6 will not make any noise. When I insert a track, it is said that he plays, but no sound. Happens if I play with nothing hooked up, or if I have a headset in, or if it is connected via the speaker or car charger. The phone always say he plays I like, but no sound comes out. This does NOT happen if I use an app like Spotify, so I know that my speakers and other audio devices are not the problem. It's incredibly frustrating. What exactly should I do to get it working again?

  • is there a way to remove the music draws in icloud or on the device?

I'll be happy if everyone agreed with me on the use of apple's music. It's really too hard to remove a music of ios 10.  the new apple music wants users to play the song, then delete it; but by the old version, we could delete any song even we are not listening.

shortly, I miss old versio of apple's music. because that have edit songs that you listen to the device was really easy.

If any authorized person see this comment, please repeat aple music.

  • See all the songs of the artist to IOS 10 music app?

Is there a way to display all the songs by an artist under iOS 10?  In the early music app I could find or choose an artist and all songs belong rather than album covers. I want to scroll down any, not one album at a time.

I'm with you on this one. This is also the case for gender, for example. Now if I go in my kind of rock library, I will get all my albums of rock. We should be able to choose if we want to see the list of songs within this genre. Just like in iTunes.

  • Cannot add songs to then put in the iOS 10.0 music app.

Just what the title says. I also talk about loaded music from my iTunes library, not Apple Music. In previous versions of iOS, the three points presented next to everything on the application of music to give the possibility to add a maximum of next and now, it is only for albums, not songs. I've used this feature much and I'm sure that Apple has done away with her somehow to take advantage of the features of Apple's music (which I don't use), but it's frustrating to have to everything manually reorganize rather than choosing. I was wondering if there is a setting to get that back, or if it is gone for good.

    Hello STYT13,

Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know the importance of being able to add songs to music's next playing on your iPhone is up to you! The good news is that the following steps will help you understand how to put in place the songs in your queue next play in the music app. All while playing a song, drag down on the now playing screen and press the library option in the lower left corner of the music app. In library view, type songs and find the song you want to add. Then tap and hold on the song and a menu will appear with the options, including play. I have personally tested myself, so I hope this helps and here is more on options while playing songs in-app music.
