  The easiest way is to create a backup of your application Z10 BlackBerry via BlackBerry link (click the BlackBerry down and backup now).

  Then do a security wipe by going to settings > Security > Security wipe.  Please note: this will delete all data off the BlackBerry Z10.

  Or you can manually delete contacts one by one.

  In my view, that's a little dramatic, there are several things to do or check first, a reset to factory settings:

  Try these options:

  * Hard Reset BlackBerry by holding ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or removing and reinserting the battery)

  Messages > saved Messages

  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)

  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date

  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)

  * Clean and reload your OS.

When I charge my phone, I received the text and I could see it on the screen timeout and I opened it. But after that the message is not located in my hub anywhere! non-text messages or anywhere else. This post WAS on my phone and I never deleted and now I can not find.

  I am after a Z10 Blackberry and want to use it overseas. I want to put a local sim card, while I'm abroad and then return a UK sim on my return. If I buy the sim-free Blackberry handset, that be possible? I can't find anything definitive anywhere and just want to know before you go ahead and spend the money. I have read that sometimes free SIM phones will be locked to the first network they serve, who obviously don't meet my needs at all.

  I just downloaded the new version of BB to protect my 9900 (At and t) and open the file to read the messages.  Once I opened a message on the phone just hangs.  I have you turn off and turn back on again.  When I turn it back on again I get an uncaught exception message.  Should I remove BB protect and reload?  Do not know how to handle it, I don't see a way to update again.

  I use BB 8520... Then try to find something similar where there is difference... Open the menu (key to the blackberry symbol)-> Setup-> settings-> you email will be redirected to 'sync '... Just press the back button until you see 'E-mail accounts'-> highlight the e-mail that you want to delete-> press the menu-> highlight delete and press-> redirected to "Delete Confirmation" and just click Yes...

  In the selection of file messaging latest date you want to remove (date especially your messages). Click the menu button and select delete before. You can also delete several messages holding down # and roll the trackball to select messages. Click menu BB button and select Delete.

  Messages that will not clear can be located in your recorded message folder, delete you have the recorded message folder and delete them there. In the case of SMS messages click menu BB button and select view saved messages.

  Hello - nope... that gives you a reading of the list of messages from Hub, not any particular e-mail, SMS, FaceBook, accounts etc. Whatever accounts you have configured in the list of Messages of Hub, the lock screen will display the total Unread Messages from Hub list. There is no adjustment.

  Well well... and then... If you have just an account critical you need of this reading, you can remove the list of Messages from hub of all other accounts. Then, only one account will reflect in the list of Messages of Hub, and thus lock display screen only this indictment not read.
