Remove a Trojan horse from shared folders win32:fraudload - p "file not found" error creating

Hi guys,.

I have spent the last two weeks to try to remove a Trojan horse and thought someone might have an overview. My system includes:

-VMWare 2.0.6

-Windows XP

-Snow Leopard

-Time capsule from Apple

in any case, I ran Avast Anti Virus on Windows XP on virtual drive "Z:" shared between Windows XP and Snow Leopard and it detected two win32:fraudload - Trojan horse p.

After that remove the trojan horses without problems... until I have leave the merger and tried to reopen an XP session and received the dreaded 'file not found', making it impossible to open XP. Fortunately, I have several copies of the virtual machine saved on the time capsule. I reinstalled the VM at least ten times, but it stops working once I remove Trojans.

Reinstalling XP does not seem to be a solution because the infected files reside on the virtual server shared drive.

Any suggestions? Should I try to remove Trojan horses by installing Avast on OSX?

Thank you!

S

OK, so I just bellive that there is not any virus AT ALL.

I mentioned that in all cases problems similar to yours, people used Avast.

Here are a few:

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with all I have
launched on them. Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven to be very
reliable and compatible. Use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx 3 but not all.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except leave the file system, Web,.
Operational network (Script and behavior are also recommended in Ver 6 +).

    Prevx - Home - free

    Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

    Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever think malware and that

  • File not found error when opening a virtual machine (from No-Time Machine backup)

    Hello world

I have a problem with my installation of Fusion 2.0.6 on my iMac to Snow Leopard related to a "file not found".  I did my best to analyze the positions of the community to see if anyone has experienced this before.  I found several posts and tried the suggestions in these posts, but I have not been able to solve.

I'm trying to restore from a full backup of my XP VM. It's not a backup Time Machine; just a straight backup of VM together using SuperDuper (part of my nightly backup routine).  To restore, I copied:

    -> BACKUP/users/John/Documents/Virtual Machines/Windows XP Home Edition.vmwarevm

    for -> MacHD/users/John/Documents/Virtual Machines/Windows XP Home Edition.vmwarevm

Merge, I opened the Windows XP Home Edition VM, only to get the error:

«File not found: Windows XP Home Edition-000005 - s001.vmdk.» This file is required to power on this virtual machine.  If this file has been moved, please provide its new location. »

I find the file hard (what is there) and get the same error message several times.

Interestingly, when I try to open the same VM from the backup location, I also get the same error.

Really stuck now and don't know what to do.  Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    John

It seems that the latest files are missing. The virtual disk which I guess has a size 5-6 GB provisioned consists of 3 files, of which 2 are missing for snapshot 000005 (Windows XP Home Edition-000005 - s002.vmdk and Windows XP Home Edition-000005 - s003.vmdk). Unless you have some backup, your options are limited and you will need to go back to the last instant whis is dated March 2012.

Windows XP Home Edition - 000005.vmdk descriptor file (text file) will show the files that make up the virtual disk (the Flash disk in this case).

  • Not will not be up-to-date and exe. files as well as several other programs won't work after that I removed the Trojan horses today.

I have two problems that first will not to day and exe. files as well as several other programs will not work after removing six Trojans today. I got the old fake security / you're not protected message led me to run McAfee and anti-malware that I solved the problem. It allowed me to meet Explorer but I tried to open the accessories of the calculator and it will not work, nor will my Rossetta stone. I can open these types of files under other users account on this computer. Help please.

I suggest that you create a new user account for yourself (save all your files first of all that I hope are not damaged etc.). Then, you delete the old user account (but keep the files). Probably most of the programs have been installed for all users, so it should not be (I hope) a problem.

Recently had to clean a computer infected with one of these software etc. rogue security and creating a new account (Administrator) so that the user has finished up and transfer its files to the new account. He was lucky. I hope you are too.

Perhaps others may have other suggestions for you.

Please make sure that the computer is clean of any infection etc.

    original title: Windows Security.exe

I was recently surfing the web. I hit a Chinese website. An immediately jumped to the top box. Security.exe Windows. He said that I had 3 Trojan horses and viruses. In order to get rid of them I had to download the program Windows Security.exe. I don't have. Instead, I deleted all the unnecessary files and ran both the program Kaspersky anti-virus on my computer and did a full scan of Windows Defender. Without the horses of Trojan or viruses have been detected. What is the program Windows Security.exe?

Most probably one of these fake programs that are unnecessary.

  • Can not scan to my MacBook Pro from my Deskjet 3050 a mistake: machine not found.

    Hello

I need help. I just plugged in and installed the software for my deskjet 3050 a yesterday. All print and eprinting functions work fine, however, the option scan says: "not found computer. Make sure that the HP software has been installed on the computer. "I don't know what to do from here. I use it on my wifi connection. However, I also tried with the printer plugged into my MacBook Pro directly. I am running the most recent update. (not sure of the number). Please notify.

    Thank you!

    Hi stewcf,

Thank you for your quick response!

To see how to scan in your 10.7 system just click here. I realize account as the said document to 10.8 but the steps would be the same for your system 10.7.

If scanning your Mac works without error, I would try you power cycling of the network.

To do this, I would like that you completely turn off your Mac and your printer. Once they are off, go to your router, pull out the power cord on the back for 30 seconds. Once 30 seconds have elapsed, plug the router in and wait for the lights to return to normal (this may take up to 5 minutes). Once the router is back please turn your Mac back on your printer and then once everything is set, please try again the analysis of the front of the printer.

I would like to know how everything goes!

  • Cannot transfer images from digital Canon to Windows Vista. received message "save file not found" "Cameras Windows DC. default download folder is "my images".

I have been transferring pictures from my Canon Digital via the Canon software in a Windows "My pictures" file for about 2 years with great success.  Today, an attempt to transfer was interrupted with the message 'Save folder not found' "Cameras Windows DC.  I noticed that was missing the file "my images".  I added one, I reinstalled the Canon software, I tried to download the image using the "Windows Photo Gallery", but got the same message as above.  What can I do to be able to download the photos again?

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two (he may have started before that you have noticed).  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

Yes, I looked everywhere I can think of.  The only result I get is when I type in the search, TuneUp, I see the files.  When I try to delete it, I get the information in my first post.  I do not understand the B:\program files.

I'm not either. Sorry for the misspelling. It should be C:, of course,
    b not: /.

My knowledge is just enough to get into trouble.
When I try to download the TuneUp, he says I have to delete previous TuneUp.  That's where I encountered the problem. He tells me that it can not be found.  Must be somewhere so that it can come on the computer.  Where is he?

I do not know, but once again, my advice is not to download and install
