I tried to remove an unwanted program from my computer, nothing helps. When I try to remove it, I get the message, there is no, so we can't delete. But the program pretty still shows on my list of programs and the space you need on my computer. Every other time when I removed a program, the program has been removed and unlisted. Why is this program still on the list, and it seems that it is still on my computer? The program is PC Maximizer, one of these PC repair operations. What every opinion continues? Is this "thing" still in my system? If this is not the case, why is it always appear on my lists of programs? Thank you.

    Try this application.

  • Remove extra, unwanted programs

    Hi guys, first post time!
I have 1 GB of RAM, and I wonder if I can get rid of all unnecessary programs/processes while I have more memory available?

I noticed that a lot of process in the Task Manager...
Windows also indicates that an ATI driver (graphical?) is a start-up barrier and closed.

How do I know that I can delete, things also how would I do that?

    Bravo guys!

Yes, you can disable some applications and increase the performance of s for laptop. You should not remove the system, but you can disable some of them from startup list.

Go to start > run > put MSCONFIG > in the system configuration, click on the Startup tab, and clear the check box in front of the applications that you don't need.

If you can send the list of all the applications listed there I can tell you which of them can be disabled.

  • How can I uninstall unwanted programs that I have 65 in my list and they use 2.48 GB of storage?

original title: PROGRAMS to UNINSTALL & FEATURES

I've used this laptop (Windows Vista) about 500 hours in the 12-18 months (3 GB RAM & 320 GB HARD drive).  There are 65 PROGRAMS & FEATURES INSTALLED (for example, are 65 too in 12 to 18 months?) for a total of 2.48 GB.  Of the 65 programs & features, 15 were used "FREQUENTLY", three 3 were used "OCCASIONALLY" and all others, "RARELY."  The computer is Acer (c) and 244 GB free out of 286 GB.  The processor is 'Genuine Intel(r) CPU U2700 @ 1.30 GHz.  I would use this PC exclusively for WEB SURFING & YOU TUBE VIDEOS and especially of REARVIEW. TV (maybe there's another even better site for movies B & W '30 s, 40 s' & ' 50 s - I'm still doing research) to watch old Hollywood B & W movies.  I would appreciate any advice on what changes should I make of this laptop.

    Thank you very much.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

  • Remove the unwanted creative cloud installed when updating CS6 (Mac)

I use several CS6 applications on my Mac (currently OS X 10.10.5, updated at El Capitan imminent), and today, I downloaded some updates when prompted by Adobe. (I do not use of clouds creative of products or services, I want to.)

After installation, I discovered that a folder called "Creative cloud" had been created and added to your 'Favorites' in my sidebar of the Finder. When I deleted the folder, a dialog box appears asking me to recreate it, but not identify what type of program had generated dialog! (I chose not to recreate). Adobe has also added a new point on my menu bar.

Why this software has been installed on my computer? What other changes he has? How can I undo these changes and remove the unwanted software?

I noticed that there is now a directory "/ Applications/Adobe Creative Cloud" on my computer which, thankfully, includes an uninstaller (although the uninstallation program is actually located a "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Uninstaller.app of cloud cloud/Utils/creation"). However, in view of the events leading up to, I don't think convinced uninstaller eliminates effectively all unwanted software, that adobe can be silently installed on my computer.

More precisely, how to make sure this does not happen every time I then install an update of my software CS6?

I am particularly upset by that because I tried to read carefully what I was installing (even click on 'read more' or whatever the link says), and I met with absolutely no warning that Adobe was going to make these changes to my computer, or some way to give them. For me, which seems awfully close to the definition of malware. I was hoping that adobe would become more responsible on those issues, account held the incident in 2010 when they silently installed Growl to display promotional messages.

I hope someone can explain to me what was installed or modified, how can I delete/cancel the it, and how can I keep this from happening.
