I take good care of my computers with a little help from my friend IT.   Do you have a restore of the system point before the installation of this update? IFSO, then use system restore. This will then return your PC back to before the update was installed.

  Incidentally, I have to point out that, because you have restored your system, back to before the update was installed, the update will again be available for download. You need to just make sure that you do not install this new otherwise that the problem will occur once more.
