Remove printers from the list of devices

I'm working on a Mac with Office 2011. I have three printers on the list of devices, but I only use one (only have one!). The others were probably added when I work somewhere else and if necessary to print something. I can't get rid of the other printers in the list if, and if I do not watch I send something to print and he's going to the wrong printer and I have to return the order. I would like to delete the printers I do not use or at least be able to choose my printer by default, but could not find a way to do it. Clues?

Go to System Preferences > print & fax.  Select the printer that you don't want and click on the '-' sign at the bottom of the list.  Do the same for the other printers, you do not want.

    Yes. Delete the PUP.

    You don't mention which program you used, but these are two very good freeware ones.

    Today I met the first serious question with my brand-new R830 - after some sleep/RESUME States and movements of laptop, device fingerprinting has disappeared from the list of available devices.

    First of all, I could see that it works properly, but I couldn't start fingerprintreader software or open a windows session but after installation of the site Web of Toshiba fromt pilot, it disappeared completely.

    Someone saw something like that?

    When you have a USB drive connected and turned on, there will be a USB plug with a green show check ICON on your taskbar clock and stuff.

    Click on it and select the device you want to eject.

    As a warning... Win 8 has something that I was not able to figure out yet.

    Instead of the usual "Safe To Remove Hardware" message, I get "Impossible for-disconnector is in use" even if it is not.

    I was just clicking OK essentially and unplug then... I've yet to lose any info.

    You may or may not have this problem, but I thought I should give a heads up.

    Hello, I am fairly new to OME and its peculiarities. I'm under OME v2.0 and see something strange in the Manage > screen devices where devices disappear.

    I have an iDrac which I created a record in DNS.

    I created a new folder of the range found in the discovery tab and inventory that has SNMP and WS - MAN active. I created a new range of discovery in my new folder where I have added the DNS name of the iDrac. After you run a discovery & inventory, it appears in devices such as an unknown device.

    I ran the Dell troubleshooting tool (v3.4.0) and it showed that the public SNMP trap is not activate on iDrac (WS - MAN worked a treat). I enabled SNMP on iDrac, but when I ran other inventory, it has disappeared from the OME > Manage > devices. If I disable SNMP iDrac and rerun the inventory, it appears again.

    1, why what is happening? Where does go? 2nd, how do I get the iDrac in devices without him being unknown. Which I suppose is possible.

    Hi John,.

    IDRAC don't disappear when you have already discovered server, rather the iDRAC correlates data and the server. Thus, the entry you see under Server, the same must be replicated under the CARS. You will not see an individual entry separate CARS separately, instead, it will be an entry replcated of what you see under servers in the RAC group. If this is what happens then its all good.

    You must activate the plugins on the tools > Modules > page of Plugins to make them appear on the topic: plugins page.

  • The Task Manager, update the list of tasks and processes, but removes them from the list, the next second.

    It was fine a few days ago, the list of tasks and processes will not be updated until I open/close something. Now, it refreshes the list every second. I tried to change the speed of update, but makes no difference. An answer by tomorrow would be the best.

    How can I remove the orphaned members for a specific version without having to remove them manually. I nearly 90000 members in this list, and I can select only 5000 at a time.

    I was hoping that if we copied the version to a new version, that it would not bring in the orphaned nodes but that doesn't seem to be the case...

    I have no connection of DRM to control as much as possible, but here's what I can think of off the top of my head. It can certainly be a better way to do it and I'll think it work tomorrow.

    So, I first list all orphaned nodes in a version of

    i. choose the version
    II. select list > orphan nodes.

    This will probably display a list of all the orphaned nodes and on top, there is probably a backup to file option. If you click on that, all orphaned nodes will probably appear in a flat file for you and you can use the Automator to delete orphaned nodes using the following command:

    Remove the orphan - Version - node

    where '-' means tab order of automator.

    You can do that in tools > Page Info > permissions so that the Web site is loaded in the currently selected tab.

    You can control and manage permissions for the domain in the tab currently selected through these steps:

    • Click on "Site Identity" (globe/lock) in the address bar
    • Click on "More information" to open the window "Page Info > Security.
    • Go to the permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab

    You must move the image files where they are now (probably in my pictures). Windows XP retrieves files image from the following paths:

    C:\WINDOWS BMP files

    The files BMP, JPG, GIF, JPE, DIB, PNG, HTM from the following locations:

    C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper
    C:\Documents and Settings\photos \My Documents\My [& ALL THE sub FOLDERS]
    C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet explore
    C:\Program Files\Plus! \Themes [* & ALL subfolders *]

    So for example, if the 'silent pictures' are in your My Documents\My Pictures folder (or a folder in my pictures) and you want to keep them, just move them to the folder My Documents of parent instead. If you don't want to keep them, just delete the files.

    I added some ESX servers at VMAs using "lt & sudo vifp addserver; hostname & gt; ».  These servers have been removed before removing the VMA.  Since they are not online, I get the message when you do "sudo vifp removeserver & lt; hostname & gt; "below.  How can I remove them from the list of targets vMA?  Thank you.

    Error: Unable to connect. Please make sure that the server is in place and is a supported version.

    If you are using the latest version of vMA 4.0, you should be able to do the following:

    sudo vifp removeserver  --force
    

    When it ask for password, just type in whatever she should remove just with strength of the management host.

    You can also take a look in the vMA configuration file that keeps track of hosts under management and erase the old entries:

    / etc/VMware/viconfig/viconfig. XML

    / Home/VI-admin /. VMware/credstore/vicredentials. XML

    Who gives a try and see if it helps, it is always advisable to withdraw before the host decommission but option 1 work usually, from what I've seen.

    Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

    I understand that your Laserjet Pro CP1525nw printer has disappeared from the list of devices in your connected HP account. I can help with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. Connect the printer via a USB on Windows PC or Mac and download the latest firmware by clicking on this link.
    2. Turn the printer off.
    3. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
    4. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.
    5. On the printer press right until you see Network Config and press OK.
    6. Press right until you see the IP address and press OK.
    7. Note the IP address.
    8. In the address bar of the web browser on any computer, type the IP address as it appears on the printer and press ENTER to open the web page integrated printer.
    9. Click the Web Services tab.
    10. If you click on one of the options on the left side, you should see an option to print an information sheet. A click on it.

    Now, If you see a code of request on the sheet of paper then in your connected HP account click on the devices tab, the device to add and enter the code for the printer application.

    If you do not request a code on the web page of the printer and then on delete Web Services and then activate. Now in your connected HP account click the devices tab, the device to add and enter the code for the printer application.
