    Original title: Wallpapers

In the drop-down menu under the wallpaper photo location, is to show unused files that do not exist and otherwise I won't. Is there a way to reset the history of this list?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem, you are ready to remove the background story of the photo location list screen.

In Windows Vista and later versions, you can change the background by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting the "Customize" option and then click the option 'wallpaper' and there you can apply your wallpaper desired by selecting the image using the button 'Browse' or by selecting an image from the given list.

But whenever you browse a folder to choose your desired wallpaper, its path is stored in the 'Location' drop-down box and everyone can see and use this path, as shown in the following screenshot:

If you want to clear the history of any situation or want to delete any path of particular folder in the list, you can follow these steps and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

  • How to remove the background of sailing?

    Hello world

I have limited experience of photoshop. What I'm trying to do is to remove the background under a piece of tulle/sailing/diaphanous fabric. I already do a lot of photoshop on fashion photography, but deletion of the backgrounds of chiffon and tulle etc. are always very difficult - in fact so far for me its been impossible.

So, for example, you can see a part of the image below:

    Train 1.jpg

    or

    train 2.jpg

Is the 1st dress with tulle and the 2nd with chiffon. So I'm trying to achieve this effect:

    sheer fabric.PNG

    I use PS CC2015. I can't afford the plug-ins special.

Could someone give me the steps to achieve this effect?

I found this forum very helpful, even if I sometimes say things I don't want to hear with design work, you know never everything yourself and it is really help to get feedback from others here who really know their stuff. Here are three YouTube videos that show you how to use Remask.

The first is an introduction, and you should watch that first. The other two are more advanced, but contain examples of masking of the sails. I must say that the images are not as difficult as the one you are working with, but it will give you at least an understanding of how you can hide wedding dresses.

These steps are not quite correct. You have two choices; either highlight a part of the background noise and use SHIFT + P, which captures your selection as a basis for NR or, open the Panel NR and use "Capture noise Print" from there, after making a selection first. After doing this, click on "select an entire file. What you definitely have to do is to use 'apply' at this point, and when use you it, just use it once.

When you capture using printed, the Preview 'play' button inside the plugin to check the settings and then stop it. When you are satisfied of what he done, then click on 'Apply' - but once. This will apply for all of your noise reduction. As long as you do not use "undo" at any time, the version Number will be be recorded on the original, or if you use "save under", then the original will be left alone, and a new noise-reduced version will be saved.

How can I remove the background color of a photo using Adobe Illustrator?

This is something for the most in Photoshop due to his magic wand tool.  But in Illustrator, you must create a clipping mask using the pen tool and make a Rectangle or a square and create a composite path with the top of the image.

  • How to remove the background by action image

    Hello!

I just created a beautiful action, but there is still a step that I can't make it work.

    I'm optimzing scanned PDF.

First step: preflight: convert to grayscale.

Second step: optimize the PDF: all filters set to high. This separates the bottom of the analysis of the digitized text. Both scored as the image, not as background image.

Third step: remove the background image. Cannot get this to work.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you very much!

There may be a preflight script to remove the image, but it could get rid of all the images. You can also use the tool object editing (or the new name I forget) to select the background image and delete it. You'd have to do on each page.

  • Masking to remove the background of an object and the content in an object round

Hi, I used a layer mask to remove the background of a photo of a Cabinet. Now, I need to remove the inside of the Cabinet as well. What is the best way to do it? If the original mask are included inside the Cabinet. Guidance gratefully received.

Use layer groups and nested groups.

A group of layers can be hidden regardless of its content (which BTW can be a single layer). So you get something like this:

In this way, you can work on each item separately. If you want to deactivate a mask temporarily, shift-click on the mask icon.

To the user using acrobat x pro, to remove the background of your powerpoint slides in PDF format.

Go in Tools > Content > edit text & object > modify object.

Select the background image you want to delete, right click on it to remove it.

You may need to repeat a few times by slide, because the substance may contain more than one object/image.

  • Table of contents: how to remove the background or transparent?

    Hello!

I use 7 Captivate. I need to remove my table of contents context or delete it so it is possible to see the slide below (I use the overlay option, of course). I've been through the generated css once my captivate is published (CPLibraryAll.css) and the main javascript (CPM.js) file, but I can't find how to solve my problem.

In addition, from what I thought until now, the background is an image and not a generated css color.

    Thank you!

    inna88sf wrote:

    So what is the solution?

In the CPM.js file, there is a block of css for somerhing called bkColor style, which is very probably translated as backcolor. The alpha for this block is set to 100. Set it to 0 and the background is transparent. About the amount of changes I made, I came up with my own script that applies to all changes to any model with the same captivate project.

in any case, the .css file and the file .js (CPLibraryAll.css and CPM.js) are the best ways to get around the limitations of Captivate. If you have some knowledge of coding, you should definitely check them.

You want to completely remove audio or you want to keep your audio files and only to remove some unwanted background noise in it? To get rid completely of audio, do what Dave has suggested. For only getting rid of background noise, send the first clip to the hearing and to experiment with noise reduction capabilities.

  • How to remove the background in the photo?

I have a product from a table on a dark background. I need the best way please remove this background so that the table is separated with a transparent background (photo will appear on the web). The table also has slats and the dark background can also be seen here.

I tried several times, but without success.  In my view, using the tool magnetic lasso would work, however, I'm having a very hard time finding out out to use it. In addition, I found no good video tutorials on the web.

Can someone please give me detailed instructions on how to do this? Thank you very much.

All of these straight lines make the cry of to use polygonal lasso.

    1. click on the lock icon to background in your Layer palette. Without releasing the button of the mouse, make sliding the lock on the trash icon can release when you arrive on the trash can. (This will convert your background layer to a regular layer layer without going through a right dialog box.)

    2. Select the polygonal lasso in your Toolbox. Start in a corner and click to end in a corner... go around Chair until the outer edge of the Chair is selected.

    3. If you have PES 9, add a layer mask to the layer Chair. (Note: you cannot add a layer mask to a... locked background layer so be sure to step #1.)

You should now have the outline of your Chair.

    4. with the polygonal lasso still selected, change the icon to add to the selection.

Straddling the icon square... you are the UI will be different because is not PES but the symbol icon looks the same in your toolbar options.

4B. use polygonal icon to select the Interior (between the slats) areas of Chair to be deleted.

4 c. When you have finished click on mask to target. Press D to define your tool box color chips to black and white by default.  Fill with black paint selections by pressing Ctrl + Backspace if on a PC. (If the color chips were reversed would be pressed alt + Backspace if on a PC.) Alternatively, you can just dump the black paint on the selection by using the paint bucket.

Keep in mind with masks, you can go back and fix things by using black paint to hide and white paint to reveal. Usually, it is a good idea at this point to temporarily lift a United under your image background to get a good look at the edges.

You should now have your Chair selected, but you can do some extra steps to clean up a bit.

    Cleaning option...

Turn off the background layer if you added one to inspect the edges.

    1. create a composite of your Chair at this point. Add a black layer, then press ctrl + shift + alt + e keys if on a PC. If on a mac, use command + shift + opt + e. (this will place your Chair selected on a layer itself. After doing this turn off the Chair hidden layer.

2 Ctrl click on the thumbnail of the Chair in the palette of the layer if a PC to choose the President. (If on a Mac, I believe you cmd click on the thumbnail.)

    3. go to your menu and choose the selection command<>

    4. with step #3 active selection, go to the menu and choose the selection command<>

You can also try to select<>

    5. Add a layer mask to your layer of Chair.

You can check your results by turning on the solid color layer, you added. Note: Steps 3 and 4 could be made using refine edge, if you have one of the latest versions of items.

    Final step.

You must save in a format that supports transparency... PNG, TiF, PSD, Gif... pretty much anything except JPG. I don't know which format is best for Web... probably PNG, but cannot say that it is the road that is best that I don't know which works best with most browsers.

It might be too small to see the difference between just selecting and clean the edges using the contract and a touch of feathers.

Note: You could even hide a composite of the two versions that the slight bit of feathers can round the corners slightly. I think if it was me it would be the way I would take... use the version with feathers but mask to selectively in the corners that look too soft. My version of contract/feather in my eyes seem a bit soft (rounded) in the corners under the seat of the Chair.

  • Remove the background of the logo

As an introduction, I'm new to the Forum of Photoshop elements. Please accept my thanks in advance for any help you can provide with what is probably a very basic question. Before posting this thread, I tried to find a solution in the Help menu (as usual, the explanations lose me) and looked in the forums (could not find my specific problem, if it may be a function of my inability to generalize at this point).

Question: How can I remove the white background of the Black logo (below)? I wish I could use just the black part of the image. The reason is I want to use it in a simple Web site, I'll build. The site has a gold background. When I tried to import the logo as is, he appeared as a white rectangle-with-black-image sitting on top of the beige. I would like to have just the Black logo, surrounded by white beige, with none of the background screening. From what I read in the menu help, it is probably work with layers. Unfortunately, that's all that I'm out the instructions. If someone could explain this extreme newbie how to do this, I would be very grateful. I hope I have described my problem well enough. If not, please let me know and I'll try to do better.

    Montana Logo.jpg

    Welcome to the forum!

Your question appears frequently. What you need to do is to replace the white background with transparency so that when you put the logo on your web page the gold appear through the transpareny.  By default, an image is composed of the layer named "Background". The first thing you need to do is convert it to a normal layer by renaming it to something else: double-click on the layer in the Palette layers, and then enter a new name. Simply accept the default name "Layer 0". Then, you will need to select the white part and delete it.  White will be replaced by a model of pattern indicating transparency.  Since your background is white Uni, the easiet select it is to use the magic wand tool. On the toolbar options, clear the check box contiguous. Click on anywhere in the white. This selects all the whites, and then you can . Now, save the logo in a format that supports transparency. File types that support transparency are PSD, TIFF, PNG, GIF and EPS.  JPG, BMP are not. For your web page, you will probably want to GIF. When you perform the backup check of transparency if the backup dialog makes this possible.

Here is your logo. For this example, I added a solid below the logo background layer so that you can see how it fills the transparency.
