  Mail clients can operate in one of two different modes, POP and IMAP.

  If your clients are configured to use POP they download and store e-mail on the local device, there is an option to leave the email itself on the server, but no editing work such as new e-mails, deletion, or organization mail into folders is done on the local PC.

  With IMAP, the main display is what is happening on your e-mail account on your ISP's e-mail server. It will always download send to the local computer, but it's just to allow you to see and read emails while it is disconnected. When you're connected and you delete email messages on a client, it is deleted on the server and the e-mail on the other device client go go.

  Glib answer: read your emails.

  Notification of "unread mail" on the Windows Home screen reflects information from several e-mail applications that can be installed on your computer, including at least, Outlook Express and Mozilla Thunderbird's.  Other messaging applications can also contribute to the total.

  If you click on the link, you are supposed to see what e-mail client has how many messages, but I have never actually confirmed this feature.

  After you install TweakUI, click on "Login" in the left pane, then "unread mail".

  Gotcha.  Call your carrier and ask them to remove your e-mail accounts in the unit.  They can use the FIS to you.

  Have you tried af:resetActionListener - don't know if it would work in your case or not.

  Test immediate = "true" on your af:commandButton.

  The simplest thing to try is a reset.  Press and hold the power and home together for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

  That may well help your storage numbers.  If this is not the case, try a restore or remove the email account and reintroduce.
