  Looks like you have a third-party program that has been on your search engine, home page, or the value default new tab page. Fortunately, this can be solved easily:

  1. At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox (Tools menu in Windows XP), and then click Add-ons. Open the tab of the Add-ons Manager.
  2. In the tab of the Add-ons Manager, select the Extensions Panel.
  3. Select the toolbar you want to delete.
  4. Click on the button Delete.
  5. Click "Restart now" if it appears. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.

  After restarting Firefox, install the Reset search tool. This will remove the rest of the traces of this program to your Firefox.

  -Disable and remove Babylon add - we
  -Uninstall Babylon toolbar control panel

  -Change of home page of tools > Options > general tab
  -Clean all the registry keys, values and data with Babylon in there
  -Reset all the registry keys to their default values

  -Reinstall Mozilla Firefox
  -Reset of Firefox default about: support page
  -Reset of Firefox to help > restart with Add ons disabled...

  You only need one of them and this is the file that Firefox currently uses to store the history and bookmarks.

  I think you would probably address the tool pane in the 2 areas. :

  1 uncheck tool pane in Edit: Edit > preferences > Documents > pane open for each document [uncheck] tools

  2 uncheck pane view tools: view > show/hide > Tools pane [uncheck]
