I don't see how to move and delete pages in the new adobe.  The previous version had a small page icon on the left and when you clicked it you could click the pages and move them.  Or press Shift Ctrl D to delete pages.

Now, I do not find it on the new Adobe - or can not find this button "organize" in the toolbar or under Tools.

When I click the button Edit, it leads me to a page telling me that there is a fee a year to move/remove/add pages.

You can move and delete pages with Adobe Acrobat, not Acrobat Reader.

You can use Acrobat Pro to combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF.

You may be able to use Acrobat Standard as well - not sure.

In my view, there is also a the Adobe online subscription service hosts that combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF.

As for search. To make available content of every PDF should be text with a font mapping of characters of the regular police having families (each character we see ("glyph") represents a specific numerical value, which is held in the file under the hood) which in turn has a correct mapping to Unicode.  If there are pages that are the output of text parser image then make sure you use OCR to get the result of the OCR to support search/search.

With all the 'one' PDF support find simple. Using Acrobat Pro, you can embed a search Index. This is a simple step. For full service advanced search use Acrobat Pro to create a stand alone catalogue Index (see the help file).

Security How can I remove the copy and paste the files I used?

I can't get rid of all the e-mail addresses I have copied and pasted.  No matter what I will always appear if I hit paste again.  This is a shared computer and I would rather not have my copy and paste the files stored on the computer, after that I quit.

    Hi Ron,

You can copy or move information (for example, text and pictures) between files and programs using temporary storage called the Clipboard. The Clipboard is not visible, so even if you use it to copy and paste information, you never actually see the Clipboard when you do this.

The Clipboard contains a block of information at a time. Whenever you copy information to the Clipboard, the old contents of the Clipboard is replaced by the new information.

When you shut down the computer everything is stuck in the memory of the Clipboard is cleared.

Please click the below mentioned link to get an overview of the clip board memory.

Can I create an action to move the last page to the first?  I can only find how to manually drag the pages, and I need to make it simpler when there are a lot of pages.

Yes, you can do it using a script. This code should do the trick:

    this.movePage (this.numPages - 1, -1);

  • Footer now floating in the middle of the page and no background color

    Hi all

Worked on it for days with no luck. I hope someone can find the stupid mistake, because I know there must be something stupid, but it's driving me around the bend! The page has always been very well until I've recoded part of the body (the four columns with titles, pictures and text) in order to facilitate the 508 compliance. Since then, the orange footer which was firmly inside began floating to halfway to the top of the page and the orange background color disappeared.

I went by my code line-by-line delimiting each start and end div tag and everything is fine. Here is a screenshot of the lower part of the page showing how the footer should look like.

    site.jpg

Here is a screenshot of how it looks now in offline mode:

    site-wrong.jpg

as you can see if all goes well, the footer has lost its orange background and is sitting at halfway to the top of the page.

What I found after taking on the heights between text boxes, it's that I found myself with lengths of columns of unequal text (alternation of beige areas). So, I created a repeatable jpg with same alternation beiges and put it under the bottom of the bodyArea tag. Again, if there is a better way, please let me know!

A repeated background image 'Fake' columns of the same height is perfectly ok.

    It will not work IF your page is sensitive, but it's not so no problem. If it were admissible a better solution would be to take advantage of the css display: table; and display: table-cell;

Regarding your footer background color does not appear I guess you have floating elements in the footer container. If yes then you need clear floating elements that allows the container to footer wrap around the floating elements inside.

Follow these steps using css - overflow: hidden; -on the parent container which has floats inside.

  • How to remove the template and editable regions?

    Hello world

I posted this question earlier in the area of discussion web to ignore a specific Dreamweaver forum. Sorry for posting in two places.

Since last week, I learned Dreamweaver CS4 to an on-line tutorial. I got to the place where I have generated a model (index.dwt) homepage (index.html) and created boxes on it. At that moment, I realized that I had done all the steps of the Rota and that he didn't really absorb what I was doing. I wanted to delete the model to repeat and acquire a better understanding of the process. When I tried to remove the editable regions (change-models-remove editable regions), I was unable to do so because 'remove the editable regions' is gray. Nor I was able to remove the html code. I tried to delete the template itself, but when I did, the index.html page kept these editable regions! Can someone tell me if there is a way to get back to the place I was forward to create the model?

    Thank you for any assistance.

All you need to do is detach the template index.html file.  Then you can remove the template and start all over again.

Go to the menu change--> models--> detach the model

  • How can I remove the footer and header view print?

The function "file > config page" does not display the options to remove the footer and page header.

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

    == I try to print

If you want to remove the header or footer at all times (there is no user interface as in the layout under Windows or easily change) in Firefox under Linux, you can erase the preferences different values to get rid of both of them.

Type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access this page.

    Filter = header
Each of these prefs right click and select Edit, then backspace or use delete to erase the characters - and then click OK.

Repeat the same for the footer.

  • HP Deskjet 1513: HP Deskjet 1513 - how to scan multiple Pages and save it as a pdf. File

Click on Scan - machine will scan the first page
Delete the first page on the glass, put the second page,
Click on + (plus sign) it is located on the left side of a red x
Machine will sweep the second page, put 3rd page on the glass and click on + again... until the end and then click Save

  • Virtual PC/XP Mode is asking me my name & the password. I think it says XPMUser and wants to answer me with a password. I want to change the name and create a password. I have never created a.

I have not created anything yet he keeps asking for a password and display name is XPMUser, I believe.  How I can change this option to create a password also.  My file is listed as XPMUser under.   c:/Documents and Settings/XPMUser I have this file.  Who has my name there instead and if so how to change the name and create a password?

    Thank you

When you install Windows XP Mode, it automatically creates a user named XPMUser account.  If you want to use a different name:

    1. log in as that of XPMUser.
    2. create a new computer administrator account with the name that you want.
    3. close XPMUser.
4 log in to the new account and create a password.

You can then remove the XPMUser account if you wish.

  • Save the page to enter a file

    Hello

I have a task where a user should be able to save the nput on a page in a file.
The page contains a form and a tabular presentation.
The user must also have the ability to download the recorded files and save the corresponding data in the database.
This is necessary for the possible inadequacies in internet connection and it is used in laptops.
I wonder what would be the easiest way to do it.
I thought that maybe it could be done so that the entire page is copied into the HTML and stored in a file. Then on download the corresponding input values of the objects are copied to the page and the page is then submitted. But how to copy the values of a BLOB?
And I guess that there is a better way to do it?

Any advice or comments would be really useful, because I have to get this loan soon.

Hmmm... If your users want to start to edit the report in the apex itself, but to continue the same change even after the network connection is lost?
I thought asking them to download excel first, edit (excel), and then upload it later.
If this is the case, regardless of what you do at the top entered values will remain in the user's browser. Of course, you can use a tabular form based on a collection and use ajax automatic backup of data from time to time, but even that won't be very effective.

Save the HTML code would probably be the only way (if they do not want to download excel). As I mentioned earlier, download this HTML file on an XML column and extract values from there. You can also combine approaches, by having a Javascript on the page dumps all the data in a text box in a separate comma structure which users can save a csv file, open in excel change I have and then transfer it too.

Whatever the method used, you have a slight problem (that you've neglected). Once the connection is lost, request of the form in a table Pagination no longer work, users can run only on a single page (the one that is responsible), is the same with downloading the report to Excel again who needs a request to the server (so the javascript method that I mentioned would have this problem again). Save the report together in an HTML page (by using a value large paging) or modifying an excel would probably be the only way then.

  • Large black spot on the page and pasteboard

    I use CS3, InDesign worm. 5

I have 100 pages (type, a book page 440), with a large, 1 x 3, solid black spot (a double sequence) that extends from the top of the chessboard of paste into the document of 1.5 inches on a single page. Sometimes it disappears, sometimes it reappears. I exported the file to PDF (for printing high quality). It was not visible in the PDF, but it printed (printing of digital book CreateSpace).

The task cannot be selected, moved, etc.

The file contains four layers. The task is primarily associated with a single layer. However, when I turn this layer or all the layers off the coast, only the part of the task inside the text box disappears. The part which exceeds the frame of text on the page and the remains of cardboard.

The blemmish appeared during a crisis of sneezing (allergies) while I was working on the document. I touched or that you clicked on something, but I have no idea what.

    • I moved out of the page, the text block, and a new time, not linked, given. Most of the task moves with the original text block (everything that was inside the frame and the part on the outside). I made a new image and the task has returned - now in two locations: in full size on the page, and most of it on the block of text on the pasteboard.
    • I deleted the page, created a new page and created a new block of text. As I entered the new text, the task has reappeared.
    • I exported the File Interchange format. The task remained.
    • I deleted the default settings of InDesign and saved data files. The task remained.

I can cover it with a full framework of white: However, I do not know if it will work in fact when the book is printed. And if this is the case, I can't delete the part that covers the text.

I've linked a copy of page problem here is a postal fold of the indd file packed; Therefore, the fonts are included.

    Walton.

I exported the IDML file and also as RTF. Opening the IDML retained the task.

Placing the RTF into one new file has also retained the task; even if the fonts were all gone, the glyphs appeared in applied fonts. A strange thing is that the police of DickChamberlainsDeathF na not show coloring and missing fonts in the menu drop-down police in Control Panel, there is no brackets around his name (parentheses indicate missing fonts).

Someone at - he a clue about this strangeness?

I exported the text file. The form disappeared when the text file has been placed in a new document.

Then, I reapplied the fonts for the text - named police has been applied to all paragraphs in the police force. No character.

The default size is 12pt. I've selected all the text in the frame and increased the font size to 15pt and BINGO! It's BAAACK! He remained as I unstapled each action step by step.

I suspect that the task is triggered by a character in one of the fonts. It does not go away when the fonts are changed to fonts known to normal. If these fonts are not major fonts foundries creations, or if they have been changed by a scientist crazy fonts, the problem is probably a calculation error in the view of the police.

If you want to really find the source of the problem, I would suggest to start with a new file, set the default to a known a type font, course new samples of text for a set of glyphs, copy and paste the glyph to make enough for your samples, and then save this file, and then save it under a new name. One, apply a suspicious police to a set of glyphs. Save under a new name that indicates the applied font.

Open the first saved file, save it with the name of the second font that you want to test. Apply this font on the second set of glyphs. Save again.

Browse through this routine until you have a set of files which have all games of glyphs, but that one policy applied to each file. If the task has not appeared, start back in the first file with a font applied. Select the text with the applied font and change the size from 15pt point. If that does not cause the problem, save the file as a new file with 15pt in name.

Repeat this test for all files. If the task appears, you will have an idea of what font causes.

If the task has not appeared, start over with the first file who first applied at 15 PT fonts, save it under a new name. Select the second group of glyphs and apply the second font. Record. If no stain, increase the font size of the second group of glyphs to 15pt. If no spot, save and repeat with all other files, apply the n - th police to the n-th glyph group. Save new names. Change font at 15 PT etc.

If still no spot, start over with the first file. Register a new name. Apply every nth font in each group of the n - th glyph, in this one file. If this does not display imperfections, try the same strategy with the remaining files.

    HTH

    Kind regards

    Peter
