Remove the url parameter

Hi all

I have a page that contains some url parameters. When I submit this page, url parameters will also be presented.

After the presentation, action page encounters an error due to isDefined("url.XXX").

Therefore, is it possible to remove 'url.XXX' in the action page so that isDefined("url.XXX") will remain false return?

If you don't want things in the URL field... do not pass parameters in the query string.

Or modify your logic of simply:

isDefined ("URL.XXX")

to include additional criteria that you want to examine, for example:

If (! someCriteriaThatMakesTheURlParamIrrelevant) {}

If (isDefined ("URL.XXX")) {}

a few things

}

} else {}

some other stuff

}

NB: isDefined() is somewhat a legacy and someonwhat imprecise function.  You're better off using structKeyExists().

  • Remove the Url or address

    I don't know that I asked OK. How can I delete an address or the url from the address bar or the address bar?

    Well, you need to just remove it? If that is the case, simply use your mouse to select the part you want to delete and click the Delete button on your keyboard. Or are you meaning something else?

  • Get the URL parameter in the Java code

    Hi all

    I have a strange problem. I have a JSF page with two controls:
    -InputText
    -Button

    <? XML version = "1.0" encoding = "UTF - 8"? >
    <! DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional / / IN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd" >
    < f: view xmlns:f = "http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:af = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich" >
    < af:document title = "view12.jsf" id = "d1" > "
    < af:messages id = "m1" / >
    < af:form id = "f1" >

    < af:inputText label = "Label 1" id = "it98" value = "#{param.test}" editable = "always" / > "
    < af:commandButton actionListener = "#{bindings.przekierowanie.execute}" = "przekierowanie" text "
    Disabled = "#{!}" Bindings.przekierowanie.Enabled}"id ="cb1"/ >
    < / af:form >
    < / af:document >
    < / f: view >

    And I want to boot the InputText with URL parameter (param name is test - value = "#{param.test}" "). In the JSF page, all right. But after clicking on the button I want to read the value of InputText in Java Code, so I have URL:

    http://127.0.0.1:7101/application6-ViewController-context-root/faces/view12.JSF?test=ASD

    and my Java code that runs when clicking the button:

    public String przekierowanie() {}
    Map < String, String > map = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getExternalContext () .getRequestParameterMap ();
    String tttValue = map.get('zoom') ("test");
    System.Err.println ("test:" + tttValue);
    Returns a null value.
    }

    but it does not work... Whenever I get nothing when I click on the button. Could you tell me why and how to get the value of InputTex in my java function?

    Store the parameter to a parameter of sight and access this setting from Java using EL code.

  • How can I remove the url .html

    Is is possible to remove the .html from a url?

    Instead of www.mydomain.com/help.html it would be www.mydomain.com/help

    An answer I found was to edit the .htaccess file, but I can't find this file anywhere in the files loaded on the catalyst for business.

    I recommend strongly to living with file extensions .html and post a feature request in the forum of ideas.

    Active state is based on the link associated with the element which is the link for the current page. Unless you go except change the output of Muse whenever you update your site to remove the .html internal links in pages, you will encounter problems like this. I suspect that this change would probably also create problems for the In-Browser editing feature (when you try to synchronize changes in your site .muse file).

    Cristian probably shouldn't have pointed out this method to try to remove the .html extensions, but it included some warnings. And the option that must be enabled explicitly in British Colombia says it is "incompatible with the Muse.

    "... Another thing you should keep in mind is that once you change the name of the 'page' 'page.html' page, you must also update any reference pointing to "page.html".

    One last thought, unless you are comfortable with changing the code by hand you should leave the files as they are implemented (with the extension .html). »

  • Value of the URL parameter with: do not display correctly on the page

    Hello

    I'm working on a page with an interactive report. One report column is a hyperlink to another page (Page deletion). This link goes to an id and a title page delete such as its poster a confirmation message to the end user before to actually delete it. If the title contains a ': ' the text after the ":" is not displayed on the page (visible in the URL on top)

    Is it because that the ': ' separates parameters in a URL to the APEX and, therefore, the text after the ': ' is considered to be the following URL parameter?
    How can we solve this problem?

    Kind regards
    Priya Jetley

    A solution should be not only not to work with the parameters in the URL.

    Simply a process to pass values from one page to another as is:

    BEGIN
    IF: REQUEST = 'TEST' THEN
    P2_ID: = P1_ID;
    P2_TITLE: = P1_TITLE;
    END IF;
    END;

    In this case, your problem is solved, and it is safer because the user does not see what id is passed and can not manually put the id in the URL...

  • by the way the date in url parameter criteria

    Hello

    I want to filter a recordset before a certain date.
    Create the Recordset, if I use a value of execution of 27 November 06 # all records for this date are returned.
    However, when I try to spend the same information through the URL parameter it does not work.

    Is there a problem with this info by the way like this?

    Thank you, Mark.

    Not to be absoloutely fine. The problem is most likely to do with your SQL
    statement.

    A test are not all records. At the top of your page, try
    output from the SQL statement finished on the page to see what it looks like
    as. The problem is, you may need to add the symbols # manually. Expected
    look like

    "SELECT * FROM TableName WHERE DateField = #" & URLParameter & "#".

  • How can you keep the url displayed in the address bar?

    With some (but not all) URLs of links display briefly but disappear when the page loads. (Example, I was able to capture is: < < http://www.eaa.org/en/eaa/eaa-news-and-aviation-news/2015-news/08-20-2015-tuskegee-next-teen-flies-with-young-eagles-chairman > >)
    The address bar then return to "search for or type the address" (in italics).
    There are many who suffer from this problem (see forum "Urls are no longer visible in the address bar") but no useful responses are given, only tips to "Start in safe mode", which does not solve the problem.

    Hmm, I've not seen this before.

    Normally, I expect only the text placeholder to appear if the address bar has been selected and you press on delete or BACKSPACE to remove the URL of the page. In this case, you can press ESC to restore it. The next time you see this, you can try pressing ESC?

    There are a few different keys that can move focus to the address instead of the page bar, in which case it is a keyboard problem. These include:

    • F6
    • CTRL + L
    • ALT + D

    If you notice any pattern to it, which could help improve the diagnosis!

  • Problem with comma when you pass values in the URL

    Hello

    I have two pages, the first page to the second page, I'm passing some values using the url parameter passing

    but certain values contains comma ex:-P1_NATION field contains INDIA, United States, United Kingdom

    but the apex treated that as these are distinct values and assign it to separate elements

    Suppose that my intention is like P2_NATION, P2_EMPLOYEE, P2_EMPID: USA, UK, INDIA, SAGAR, 123

    is there any solution for this

    Please help me about this

    I use apex4.1, db 11g, ie, chrome, ff

    Thank you

    SAGAR

    SAG says:

    I have two pages, the first page to the second page, I'm passing some values using the url parameter passing

    but the apex dealing with like P2_NATION = INDIA: P2_EMPLOYEE = USA: P2_EMPID = UK

    is there any solution for this

    The best practice is not to transfer the data in the URL, other than the minimum possible number of discrete ID. Values required in a target page can be recovered in the element source and properties by default, calculations or using these values of process ID, or by referencing the other page element values or application already in session state. Collections can be used to store multiple values in session state to use through one or more pages.

    In URL of the APEX, commas in the item values can be escaped by encapsulating values of the backslashes ('-'), while the settlers may not appear at all.

    P2_NATION,P2_EMPLOYEE,P2_EMPID :\INDIA,USA,UK\,SAGAR ,123

    Also, do not use unescaped reserved characters in the URI.

  • Dealing with a URL parameter to be used for a default value

    I have a page of results of detail (the CONTACTS Table Recordset), identified by the CONTACTID

    In the same page, I also have another dynamic relational table, showing all the associated notes that contact record (recordset CONTACTNOTES identified using CONTACTS. CONTACTID = CONTACTNOTES. NOTESCONTACTID)

    It works fine and I can update CONTACTS without any problem.

    My problem is to insert a new record CONTACTNOTES (of a simple URL link) also associated with the same record.

    The primary field (NOTEID) is an AutoNumber but I need to carry out CONTACTS. CONTACTID variable to use as the default value for the CONTACTNOTES url. NOTESCONTACTID.

    I think something like that...

    in the dynamic table on the initial results page, using (/ insertnote.php?) CONTACTID = <? PHP echo $row_recordlookup ["NOTESCONTACTID"];? >) as the link, setting the URL parameter.

    The page insertnote has a recordset insert form, related to the CONTACTNOTES table.

    Now, I don't know how to add this URL parameter as the default field value. Is it as simple as putting the $HTTP_GET_VARS ["CONTACTID"] in the field of the Init val in the property inspector?

    Sorry - worked on...

    On the new page of note insertion, I first created a Recordset, duplicate on the initial results page.

    When you create the form, it was easy then to insert {CONTACTS. CONTACTID} as a default value.

  • Remove the custom URL assembler

    Hi all

    I am trying to remove our custom URL assembler. I've updated in all of my models to use queryassembler. Now, but when I try to remove the entry from servletrequest.properties, it gives the error below when testing to make my home page.

    But if I keep my entry of assembler, it works very well. Any body can tell me if I need to change any other file as well.

    If you use a Vanity URL you need a Web server to your appserver to remove the appserver port and write a rule of re - write.  Read the documentation (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29542_01/doc.1111/e29636/config_vanity_url.htm) for more information.

    If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

    You can create a new Boolean pref on the on: page config to prevent the generation of thumbnails for Firefox the subject: newtab page.

    • name: browser.pagethumbnails.capturing_disabled value: true

    Delete the folder of thumbnails in the Firefox profile folder to remove the thumbnails already memorized web page.
