The question is not whether if you legally own the ipad or not.  The question is the seller did apple procedure to turn on the ipad for you.  With a mdm, there may not be a way to remove a MDM control.  I do not know.

You must talk to the vendor and ask them to remove their control on the device.

If you can do what you want, I worry too much.  You ipad can possibly brick.  Might need to connect to the server to update software or retrieve software problem.

  • iPad Mini

I am the owner of the Apple iPad Mini.

Yesterday, the iPad has become 'Activation Lock' and prompted me to an apple ID and password.

    I don't remember either.

The following pop-up informed me that I have to unlock the device by getting the former owner to unlock the device.

I am the current and previous owner!

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Have you tried: If you have forgotten your Apple - Apple Support ID ?

If you have still not her, and if you were the original purchaser of the iPad (in "current and previous" do you mean original?), you could try to go to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try to contact iTunes Support Online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad on the account - they are likely to want to see the proof of ownership before they could help, for example, received original with top serial number

  • iPad, Apple ID, makes me crazy!

I'm about to launch an iPad (little used) MD370NF/A out the window!

This morning I have updated to OS 9.3.5. After that, I discovered that there are two Apple ID involved, one for iTunes and AppStore (Apple ID, I also use on Mac Pro, iMac 3 1 and 2 MacBooks) and the other for iCloud (a former ID, which I had forgotten).
This old ID will not be changed or deleted. When I approach it from a Mac, the message is "... is not an Apple ID". The iPad application checking every 15 seconds!
I don't want to not connect to any cloud! Can I turn off this business of clouds?

And the valid code change is not possible either, because Apple insists on a credit card. I have a credit card (platinum) quite normal, but it's not good enough for Apple. I live in Germany, but I am fortunate to have an account in Dutch bank + credit card number.  According to Apple, it is not possible...

Can I do to reset an invalid ID of Apple (even not existing)?

    All suggestions are welcome!

You tried a disconnection via the settings > iCloud > Sign Out? If find my iPad is 'on', you will need the account password to log on to the account, if you don't remember the password (and can't reset it) have you tried to contact iTunes Support to see if they can find the id / reset his password? Or you could try to go to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try to contact iTunes Support Online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad on the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they could for example help original receipt with the serial number above

By "changing the valid code is not possible either, because Apple insists on a credit card" you mean change the country on an account? If you do, and if you don't have a card issued by a German Bank (while in Germany, you can use the German store, and only a card issued by a German bank can be used with the German store), you can try to contact iTunes Support and see if they can do something in order to bypass this requirement for you.

  • Cannot transfer files from iPad to MacBook

Personally, I understand better than anything else of directories.   I guess that when you connect the iPad to the MacBook using the USB connection - you cannot move pictures as you would with any other device connected as a drive.

    Okay, so what now?

I was with my iPad to take shots (my first mistake).  Due to the number of falls that I ran out of memory and it stopped everything - now I do not know how to remove the iPad videos and placed them on my MacBook.

At first, when I plugged the iPad for the Macbook using the USB I had an application that seemed to allow you to "import" - I did.  Or do I think that I did.   Where it matters to I don't have any idea.  Directories of meaning for me - but whatever the application is - I had zero indicating where the photos/empty went.  I've been good with that - thinking I could use the find command to locate my videos at a later date.

But now this mysterious request automatically don't invoke not himself.   = / I cycled the power on my iPad - with no luck.

I've heard that iTunes could be a portal for the transfer of files form an iPad with other devices.   I opened iTunes on my MacBook with the iPad connected - but nothing obvious jumped out to me (as a directory) that allows me to easily move these videos.

I guess I should buy some type of camcorder.

In any case - if there is a simple way to transfer files from an iPad to a Macbook (for example a directory) then let me know.  I'd appreciate it really.

    Thank you

Please understand that I want to say this quite constructive feedback.  I suggest a change in your way of thinking.

I suggest that you leave the point of view of directory at the door when you work with an iPad and a Mac.  Apple devices tend to use directories to answer the question 'how', something is done.  But the "how" may change from time to time.

However, if you focus on 'what' to do (for example, move pictures to the iPad for the Mac), you'll realize the functions (applications) on both ends that manipulate your data.

On the end of the iPad, this app is Photos.  And on the side of Mac, that request is probably too Photos - assuming that your Mac operating system is up-to-date.

So, check in the Photos of the Mac app and see if your photos are here.  Absolutely, do not worry about the Photos app directories used to store these photos.  If you need to send them elsewhere, export Photos of Macs.

  • I use an ipad to a friend not locked... I have myself a code and a apple ID... It works well, now afete upgrade to the latest os blocked .i and wonder the old apple... what to do ID. ?

I use an ipad to a friend not locked... I have myself a code and a apple ID... It works well, now aferupgrading in the last os blocked .i and wonder the old apple... what to do ID. ?

    Hello

You describe Activation Lock, which prevents the unauthorized use of the iPad if it's lost or stolen.

This can be disabled by the person who helped him either entering their Apple ID and password of the device or to remove the iPad from their list of devices to find my iPhone via iCloud.com.

If the friend who sold or gave the iPad for you is the original owner and who has activated locking Activation, they can try to recover their Apple ID information and forgotten password if they have forgotten one or both of them:

If they cannot recover this information (and therefore can't follow the steps described above), but they still have their proof of purchase as the original owner of the iPad, ask them to accompany you and the device to a Genius Bar appointment, where Apple may be able to help by removing the lock.

If you can not organize or any of these measures, then you will not be able to use the iPad. There is no way around this security feature.

  • Establishment of an iPad after having been locked out but did not recall what is my Apple ID or password.

Basically, I'm trying to help my sister in law with his iPad. She had initially forgotten its password to enter his iPad and if she got locked out. I googled how to reset and so I have connected the iPad to a laptop and went through iTunes (without signature). Now that the iPad has been swept clean it is now the scene of reactivating...

I typed in the country, wifi etc and now he asks the Apple ID and password that was used to set up the iPad initially that she can't remember. She does not know what email address she used and she forgot her password. I searched for centuries now what can someone help!

Is still connected to the account anywhere so that she can get him? Or she has none of the downloads of the account in the computer's iTunes library so that it can do "get info" on them and see the id? If not already tried it: If you have forgotten your Apple - Apple Support ID ?

If she can still find, and she was the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. he not was purchased used), she might try to go to an Apple Store (it should take an appointment-Genius Bar if she does) or try to contact iTunes Support Online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad on the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they could help for example an original receipt with the serial number above

You should be able to remove them. I can't tell you for sure because I don't have a reader, but I suspect that the photos will land at film and anything in Czech Republic, you can remove the iPad.

As for your second question, Yes. You can make Albums on the iPad. The albums will contain only pointers, the photos will remain in film in order not to remove it. The albums will be more enjoyable you can rearrange the order of the pictures by dragging them.

  • Bent/warped IPad Mini 4

I'll start by leading to the discovery of it.

I was recently in Florida, I'm originally from Chicago, for the week. I brought my IPad along and experienced and noticed nothing wrong with it. When I was flying back to Chicago, I packed up my mini iPad 4, which has a standard case on him, in the operation of my backpack. My bag was filled with only light items such as hats, a shirt, I bought on my way, cords, a Nat Geo and some snacks, chips to be precise, in the plan of care. I unpacked my iPad to my bag after finding my seat and placed into the slot in the seat in front of me with the magazines to go offshore. When Electronics was safe to use, I jumped on the Internet to get the wifi. After seeing the shark for a while, I decided to see what they had and my screen broken under my finger on the left side of the middle. I was shocked the way I could press hard enough to cause serious disruptions on the area around my finger and cracks to join the rest of the screen. I removed my iPad from its case to examine it and noticed it was veiled/bent on the break, only on this one district area. Ive heard of the iPhone 6, deforming, but never to an iPad. Im confused what has caused this to happen, but my assumptions from now are:

    1. fluctuations in temperature between Florida and ruffles.

    2. a defective model (but it was purchased at Best Buy)

    3. about all this I would think based on my experience, but feel heat is the most likely the cause.

Long story short, I discovered that my iPad has been distorted/bent on cracking under my finger screen and don't know how to prove and discover what happened. I took it to a Apple Store, only to be waived off the coast with it being impossible, and the crack comes to make them assume I slammed or it broke something. I would really like to be able to use my 1 year warranty that I wasn't buying apple care as I treat my products I would say pretty well, and now offered my only option was a replacement for $299.

I would be really grateful some insight or advice on what I can do about it as I am positive that nothing of any weight was the force of contact or more applied than my finger and I'm completely baffled by this.

Unfortunately, only AppleCare + covers the issue you known and only for $49 (before taxes) of service fees.
