removing cover

HP pavilion model p6232p

My fans have been really strong. I would take the cover wide and clean inside. How can I remove it?

Caroline, welcome to the forum.

Here's a guide to help you remove the side panel of the computer.  Also, here is the entire section for "addition / replacement of material" in the computer.

I suggest that you clean all the fans, as well.  If they have the accumulation of dust, that might make it faster and stronger.

I have an Acer Asipre Z3-600-UB16 and that you need to upgrade the RAM, but need to Remover the heat shield covers on the motherboard / RAM.

I have already pulled the rear plastic cover, stand, removed the hard drive and the accessible screws that hold the screen cover / heat on the mother/RAM card.  It seems that additional disassembly is necessary, but there is absolutely zero information on the internet or even Youtube disassembly of this unit and nothing available for a repair or even simple images or patterns.

    Hi all

    I have a Satellite L70-A-139 youcef.

Wil I void the warranty when I unscrew and take a look?

No, the mandate must still be valid.
There is a removable cover at the bottom of the unit as shown here:
    [Toshiba Satellite C70 / C75 / C70D / C75D / L70 / L70t / S70 / HARD S70t drive replacement procedure | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3703HG0000R01.htm]

I think this info should be mentioned in the user manual too.

  • Remove backcover HP Pavilion 23 - b300ed all-in-one PC

    Hi all

As the topic title says I have problems to remove cover HP Pavilion 23 - b300ed. I have found and tried the instructions here http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03397833.pdf. I can't remove the left and right screws, two tiny downstairs are no problem as is the Central screw. I don't see the lid raises a little, but there is no way that I can lift.

I've read about these two screws should click 5 times and then they lose you but it does not work on my system.

    Can someone please help?

    Thank you

    Hello

The three screws (which one in the Center) which has a click after a few laps just come out the back cover from the base and screws must be so OK.  You must also remove the two screws on the bottom foot of the device. There are several tabs, the edges of the back cover which cause the rear switch running. Just get out of the back cover. You may need to find someone with strong fingers.

  • Sleep seems to work, but does not (iPad 2)

For years, my iPad 2 (9.3.5, 32 GB iOS) went right to sleep when I close the magnetic lid. (It's a Yoobao coverage.) Battery would not be overturned while he was sleeping, and everything was fine.

Now in the past couple of days, even if it seems to go to sleep when I close the lid (I say "seems" because I need to type my password when I re - open the cover, although the cover was closed only five seconds ago), yet the battery goes down. If I leave the night in this Pseudo-veille, the charge will go to zero.

Apparently not the battery is dying, because if I have the iPad completely turn off and leave it for a number of hours, there is no appreciable load loss.

Any ideas what I can do about it?

I'm not able to troubleshoot your iPad, but it is still possible to do some significant tests.

First of all, see Removing cover Yoobao made a difference. If this resolves things, there are some covers well recommended to replace your old.

Secondly, to consider whether the recent update of iOS could be the cause of your woes. If so, report the problem to Apple is recommended.

Finally and above all, to change the Autolock 'never' 10 min period ' (settings > general > auto-lock).

  • Setting up external monitors

I have desktop computer HP Pavilion Elite period of 2008 and I want to connect another external monitor as I can with my HP laptop.  However, the HP Pavilion will not recognize the external monitor and the external monitor is attached with power.  I downloaded the latest graphics card on GeForce site which shows two monitors is feasible.  The strange thing is that I had to take a plug screwed the setting of the PIN on the desktop that would use the second monitor that says "do not remove".   And, the owner's manual says, "you can connect more than one display device to the computer at the same time (some models only).  Can I get two monitors working with my desktop model?  What do I need?  Thank you

    Jorge1111,

    Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion Elite m9077c. According to specifications, your computer has integrated Intel GMA 3100 on the motherboard which is replaced with the factory installed PCIe x 16 NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT graphics card. By the specifications of the computer, "Supports two displays at the same time," using the NVIDIA Geforce 8500GT. You cannot use the VGA (#12) port in the image below (Please replace "do not remove" cover plate);

    Instead, you must use two of the ports listed below to drive your monitors;

    (#1). S - Video / Composite (with adapter) (#2) (#3) HDMI, DVI - D / VGA (using included adapter)

    Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion w2408 LCD screen Monitor wide flat screen and here are the specifications of your monitor DellTM slim S2230MX. Your two monitors are VGA and DVI - D inputs. The Dell came with a dongle, DVI-HDMI (adapter) and your computer comes with a dongle, DVI / VGA (adapter). Using one or more cards and some cables makes installation works the way you want. Try to connect the computer and monitors as follows;

Technology > cable DVI > Monitor (recommended) #1

    -----OR-----

Computer > DVI / VGA dongle > VGA cable > monitor #1 (other)

    - AND -

    Technology > cable HDMI > DVI-HDMI dongle > Monitor #2 (recommended)

    -----OR-----

    Computer > dongle DVI-HDMI > DVI cable > Monitor #2 (acting)

Monitors 1 and 2 can be reversed according to your preferences.

  • Replace my drive HARD satellite A110-252

    Hello.

I read about the type of hard drive of my laptop, but my problem is WHERE IS THE HARD DRIVE LOCATED in EQUIUM A110-252? I know that it is ussually located where the battery is located but I can't see it.

Please help me. Thank you very much.

    Hello

I have the Satellite M70 and it's the same notebook as your Satellite A110. It is so easy to find the HARD drive. When you remove the dough on the bottom, you can see three covers fixed with screws.

Am I right about that? For me, it makes sense that HDD is under a larger. Cover in the middle is for the RAM, and a smaller must be WLAN Card. Remove cover fixed with three screws and you will have access to the HARD disk.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L850D - 12 p - the rider on the own BIOS password

    Hi all.

I was given a laptop by a parent and I would use it but for the moment can not.

To be honest, the reason that this has been given to me was that there is a password that they have forgotten and even mentioned that the laptop is mine, but I have to have the password removed the bios boot somehow.

I've seen many mentions of the B500 rider in Google but I can not find these on this laptop. No, unless they are hidden pretty well.

There are at least under the removable cover only, memory, CMOS battery and HARD drive.

I had the battery, HDD, RAM and portable removed and left alone for a week. This resulted in nothing.

Is - this laptop has a clear CMOS jumper at all? Anyone know what is her name?

    Laptop model is by Satellite L850D - 12 p.

    Thank you very much.

    Albert

    Hi Albert

Please don't get me wrong, but we cannot start such things on the public forum of Toshiba.
BIOS password is very important security feature. As far as I know Toshiba uses several techniques for BIOS password removal. One that is used on your computer does not for me so I can't help you with this.

Point is that many users protect machines clean and backed up data with this password. When we are discussing here on this subject and maybe offer detailed how do to remove the BIOS password each laptop stolen could be unlocked.

BIOS password removal just contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.

  • Satellite L30-10 x and RAM upgrade

    Hello

IM missing to know where and how to upgrade RAM in Satellite L30 - 10 x. I would like to switch to 2 GB (maximum) and also upgrade to vista Home premium.
    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Hello

To upgrade of RAM on this laptop model is very simple. Memory locations are under the memory cover. Remove cover memory placed in the lower corner of your laptop (in the middle) and you will have access to these two RAM slots.

If you want to use max RAM I recommend to buy compatible DDR2 400/533 1 GB module with the PA3411U-1M1G part number.
Vista upgrade should be no problem at all. On the Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > download & support, you can find the Vista drivers, tools and utilities for your Satellite L30 (PSL33E).

    Good luck!
