Rename files of the song of the imported media information

Hello

I don't know if this is possible, but I don't see why it isn't? I hope someone can help me.
I ripped some CD to my NAS and it does not tear with track information. So media library mode, I continued the function to search and import track information and album. That everything is perfect. But what I've noticed, it's all the files in the folder is still without a name, and I want to be named as a normal album would be so the details show when I play current playback mode or by other software on my system.
Can you tell me how to do what you please? I tried a few things and have not worked. but I don't want to end up ruin my entire music collection!
I am running Windows 7 by the way. I also have a machine with XP if it helps at all?
Thank you
Lee

  • Rename files within the data store

    Hi all

I'm trying to rename some folders and files in my local data store.

That's what I see in my local data store

    /

    TestBiz-(il s'agit d'une machine Virtuelle)

    . SDD.SF

    TestNav-(il s'agit d'une machine Virtuelle)

    Apps

    images

    TestBiz contains

    TestBiz01.vmdk

    TestBiz01 - 000001.vmdk

    TestBiz01.vmx

    TestBiz01.nvram

    VMware.log

    TestBiz01.vmsd

Now my problem is the following.  The names of the two virtual machines must be lit.  TestBiz must be TestNav.  If I rename not only the record, but the files themselves who will break my servers?

I am aware of the mixture to the top, but I don't want others in the future to get confused.

    Any help would be great

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the community,

There was a current discussion on VMs rename (change the name of files and folders in data warehouses) which also contains links to some articles in the KB. However, in your case, the virtual machine has an active snapshot, and you should definitely remove the snapshot before you rename the virtual computer!

BTW. where the virtual machine is managed in a vCenter server environment, you can automatically rename the virtual machine by changing the name of the virtual machine in the inventory of the GUI and then he migrate to another data store.

  • delete personal saved files in the system volume information.

recently, I saved a few personal secret files in the information system volume with the intention to hide other users. now when I try to delete this file, I can't delete. Please help me with detailed instructions to delete this file without affecting other files in the SVI. Thank you

    Hi Lokhojohn,

Right click on the folder "System Volume Information"
1 Select 'Properties' and then click on the 'Security' tab in the next dialog box
    2. click on 'Edit' and then on the button 'Add '.
    3. put in your user name in the following box and click on 'OK '.
    4. This will grant access to the folder "System Volume Information" username
Then click on the "Start" button and then in the "Run" box (the box with the magnifying glass"at the bottom of entry the following entry and press on)
    CMD
Once the Windows CMD appears, type in the following commands:
    CD "C:\System Volume Information.
del "I want to file delete.txt".
Who's going to get rid of one of the files to delete
Continue the above command for all the files you want to delete.
A good tip is that you can actually drag the files you want to delete in the CMD window to save typing you the full name. Enter del in the CMD followed by a space, and then drag the file that you want to remove in the CMD window and it will automatically add the name of the file for you.
Follow steps 1 through 4, once more when you're finished - but this time remove your username
    Hope this helps

  • Windows 7: what are the individual "file system type" files in the system volume information folder?

Original title: Windows 7: what are the individual "file system type" files in the folder system volume information accumulating [not the files system restore I already know and don't use yet]

    Hi-

I stopped using the system restore, I found a better solution, for me, that's what I have to do.
Then I noticed that several 'file system' 'type' was being created, 12 times yesterday, 3 up to today in the early hours of the morning and stored in they System Volume Information folder, anywhere from 30 MB to 2 GB.
three of these file names 'file system' 'type' are:

Anyone know what it could be?
Can I follow up to what program/process they are related?
    Are they safe to delete?
    Ideas?  Suggestions?
    Thank you.
    John

    Hi John,.

Yes, you can delete the system volume information data if not to use the system restore.

You will need to give permission to the folder until you delete it.

How to open a file if I get an access denied message?

Please post with the State of the question.

  • Impossible to delete the files from the Windows Media Player library

    Cannot delete files from library

There are files in my library that I deleted the files, but the items still appear in my library. An example would be the items stored in the folder 'Public '.  When I right click on the file and choose 'Remove', nothing happens.  Any suggestions on how to get these files is no library WMP?  I tried already to 'Restore the library' and I also tried "sfc/scannow", which did not find any problem.

It seems to be a corrupt library file.  In any case of the deletion and re-creation of who?

Thanks in advance for any given input.  If any other detail is necessary, please do not hesitate to ask.

    Hi GregRN,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Answers forums.

Delete the database of Windows Media Player and check if the problem persists.

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. click on Start, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

    3. Select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. If you are running Windows Vista, click Start, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

    3. Select the Media Player folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

  • File for the transfer site information

My computer logic board died recently and I had to buy a new computer. I thought that when I installed everything in my new system would just install CS3 from scratch. I used CS2 on my old computer. Now that I've installed it with DW CS3, I see I need to recreate the files in the site, with all the FTP stuff. I was wondering if I can go back to my old hard drive (which I have running in a firewire enclosure) and dig up the preferences and install so I did not restore all my sites and their settings. Don't get me wrong, I have all the files (html, images, CSS, and all pages) site. I just want to see my sites listed in the window as they used to be. Is it possible to do so. If so, which files I recover my old HD and where are they going? I don't want to spoil my registration of CS3 or anything like that. Thank you.

    Quote:
    The correct path is
    >/HardDrive/Users/username/Library/Application
    > Support/Macromedia/Common/DreamweaverVersionNumber/Sites/Site prefs.

For the record, there is no such path on Mac OS 10.5.x, but you were close. Owner of Adobe Dreamweaver, which is the first clue that Macromedia is no doubt more will be a directory in the path to Dreamweaver.

There is a directory 'Adobe' in support of the request. Here's what I found:

    / Disk hard/Users/username/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Common / 9 / Sites / Site prefs.
Note to anyone reading this thread that comes after: when you arrive in the "Adobe" folder, you will see also a "9" folder Dreamweaver. Do not go there. You want the "Common" folder The directory named '9' is because I use the version of Dreamweaver CS3.

Thanks Sonjay! Your path was perhaps not perfect, but it got close. Now I can get my old 'Site Prefs' and replace it.

  • Missing files in the imported photos

    Hello

I imported a shoot of about 3300 raw images into several directories of files.  One of the files is missing.  It is on the hard drive and contains images.  I try to sync the parent folder and it says images must be imported.  As he tried to import the images get is imported in gray out and then nothing.  The images don't appear any where else in LR.  Earlier, I had a disk failure, I replaced the drive with an identical record and realized LR to it.  All good except for the folder.

If the photos are grayed out when you try to import, this means that the photos are already in Lightroom.

To search for, in your operating system, determine that a file name (for example, DSC_0038.NEF) of one of the suspected files missing, then

    • Click on "All photographs" in the catalog Panel on the left
    • Disable all filters (once or twice Ctrl/Cmd-L)
    • enable the filter bar (use the backslash key), then search by name for this file
  • File in the import XML dialog box?

Question fast and easy if all goes well:

What is the javascript format to select an XML file manually? I know that's not it:

    / * Import XML manually

myDocument.importXML is File.openDialog ("choose the current XML file");.

    */

I have my project works well, but I decided to get the user to manually select the XML in case they have uploaded a second version, named (for example) data - 1.xml and not "Data.xml". It is up to them to choose the most up-to-date XML, then we can also name the XML with a datastamp.

Thanks for this any any other help on this forum - I have pretty little hair out because it is...

    Simon.

    Hi Simon,.

Can you please try the JS code below and let me know if you have any questions all.

    var myDoc = app.activeDocument;
    var myXMLFile=File.openDialog("Choose the current XML file");
    myDoc.importXML(File(myXMLFile));

  • Rename files causes the "Object not found" error in Windows 7 Pro x 64

When I go to rename a folder (location doesn't matter) I get an 'Object not found' error with options to "Try Again" or "Cancel". If I click on 'Retry' the same error. However, when I click on 'Retry' after that it indeed proceeds to rename the folder. I do not know what causes the error, I just installed Windows 7 a week ago.

The error box contains the following text:
    This item was not found.

It is no longer in . Check the location of the item and try again.
