  Also, make sure you only specify the authorization/action access_shared in the blackberry file - tablet.xml.

  Note, however, that if you really want this '.draft' file accessible only to your app, possibly you should rather make a copy in your folder of applications and only 'release' to shared folders when it is no longer a project.

• New procedures to import re - generate image files is not allowing us to rename the files.

  Hey guys suggestions to solve the following problem?

  A recurring problem with RoboHelp since always our names project being too long to migrate. We can manually reduce the size of the folder names and the names of theme files, however, with the new import procedures, RoboHelp generates separate image files in the theme files and we cannot rename these files. This cancels the efforts to reduce the filenames of the subjects. When attempting to rename files, RoboHelp recreates the original folder and the image no longer appears in the project manager pod or in the published HTML files.

  OK, so I just wanted to make you understand that what you see inside RoboHelp's nothing RoboHelp done to change anything. Now let's talk about this document. One thing I would say (and my good friend Peter suggested) are that you rename this document before importing in RoboHelp. Short filenames will lead to short paths (and fewer questions possible) once we enter the world of RoboHelp.

  When you work with something like RoboHelp, you have all kinds of different files involved that help track your project. I noticed that your Word document using a comma in the name of the file. I strongly suggest to avoid any character other than 0-9, a - z, A - Z, underscore (_) line. Any character other than those who must be considered to be 'special' and will only cause you pain at some point.

  So as you have seen, when Word creates HTML, it also creates for these files. RoboHelp strives to have your back and prevent you from shoot you yourself in the foot. I noticed that when I tested it by saving as HTML, that more than simple images were placed in the Word folder created. RoboHelp probably prevents you from changing the name of the folder because of other files inside. In General, RoboHelp allows you to name your images as you wish and store anywhere you like. But this content is a bit special, because it comes from the word.

  One way to work beyond this would be to save your images separately from the word, appointing appropriately, and then import a Word document without the image. Then add the images later. In this way you should not end up with unwanted files and images may be stored where you want.

• First Elements 11. Cannot open the project (file PREL) in point 8.1 of Windows.

  I created the project (file PREL) in the first 11 elements in the Windows 7 Professional environment. I was able to open it without problem.

  Now I have Windows 8.1. When I try to open this project, I have a saying "this file type is not supported, or the required codec is not installed."

  When you import media source in a first Elements (any version), you are not importing real media. What you have in the media of the project are copies of the originals which are stored in the designated place hard drive. But the project needs to trace these originals to the save location as they were when they were imported in the project. If you move the source media, delete rename them or even that they are in the folder, you will encounter some bad media reconnect issues. At this point, the message "Where is the file...?" that you get when you try to reopen the saved closed project will be a major asset by her reconnects. Alternatively, you can use the function replace images for her reconnects.

• Project file still CS5 does not open - any suggestions?

  I have a recently created (and saved) project that I've been able to reopen and modify for my client several times in the past two months, but now refuses to open (even the backup copy). I get the following error when opening the project:

  "Cannot open the project; This project file was not found. »

  Nothing has moved from its original location - always in the same folder when I created it and worked on it.

  Does anyone know of a workaround to solve this?

  Thank you very much - I don't really want to have to start all over again on this project-, or I will still never approve with a major client project if it is a normal behavior!

  Just open the old project I'll work a bit.  Here are the two things:

  First of all, I had one of the issues I mentioned above.  Source assets were not available, and yet it flexes and gives me a chance to locate them - just as we would like.  I expected this and can be achieved without them - except that I discovered that in both cases, the source file has been converted prior to importation, and still does not create a new version of this.

  Second, I can create the error that you got (project cannot be opened; file not found) by copying the entire directory (containing folders and files .ncor), then changing the name of the ncor file without changing the project folder again (it is at the same level as the project file).  Therefore, if the project file is named "sample.ncor" still has created a folder called "sample" (and inside the folder is "cache" and "sources" etc.).  Rename sample.ncor in sample1.ncor with a project with her record still named the sample results in the error.  Chaning this folder to sample1 name translates into no error.

  I'm not saying it's the only way, this error occurs, but look at your .ncor file - what is the name?  What is the name of the project folder?

• Renamed project now references TOC subjects as if they were subject external

  I just followed the instructions in the RH X 5 for the help file of Word on the projects of change of name. This set of directions several times worked for me for years, without incident and without flaw. (These data are very similar to what I found here.)
  
  I just copied and renamed an entire project on a new logical drive, which is something I've done successfully in the past. I used the same direction, and now in my new project I see all my references TOC showing as if they are referring to external subjects. If I drag a theme again in my table of contents in the right pane, it displays the way I expected (NOT as an external subject, but as a normal subject). When I opened my *. File of the CNT in Notepad to read and compare the two entries of table of contents, who appears as a normal subject makes reference to my old name of project by a statement @oldprojectname.hlp . It's back! And why it is happening this way at all?
  
  VERY more a strange thing: my newprojectname.hlp is included in the project > addictions > external help files. Why in the world would be my newprojectname.hlp considered an external help file? It is supposed to be THE main help file in my newly renamed project.
  
  I used Notepad to search any reference in my *. HPJ file to my oldprojectname and/or any use of the old logical drive letter. Nothing corresponds to this research.
  
  I tried to close my new project, rename all the *. HPT files so that HR think they have been deleted and then reopening my new project. Curiously, the file newly created by HR is named oldprojectname. HPT. I expected to see it named NomProjetName. HPT.
  
  I'm completely stumped. Thanks to who can help me solve this problem! I need to make my new project have no links with the old project.

  Problem solved - an update: I went to the Customer Support Portal and contact Adobe Technical Support about this problem. A Technical Support Engineer Senior said Adobe.

  "About your concern, I understand that after renamed it your project, your TOC references are appearing as referring to [sic]. external subjects. According to your post on the forums, it seems that there is something missing with the steps to rename the project.   I was curious to see what could be the differences between the instructions to rename projects in the above TechNote and the same instructions in the help file for RH X 5, I compared the two, step by step. The instructions were essentially the same, with the exception of a typing error that has been fixed in the latest instructions in the TechNote.

  However, there were some shortcomings with the instructions in the TechNote above. I copied the TechNote, corrected and managed to rename my RH X 5 for Word project with success. My renamed project reference is no longer my subjects as if they were external. Everything is now as it should. I included the corrected instructions here for later use.

  Here are the corrected instructions to rename a RH X 5 for Word project:

  To rename a project to help:
  1. close the help project and leave RoboHelp.
  2. open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder that contains the help project.
  3 use Windows Explorer to rename the following files:
  Warning: Make sure that when you rename these files each keeps its original file extension.

  • OldProjectName. CNT (it is the Table of contents file).
  • OldProjectName. DOC (he is a source document. If you have more than one source document, make sure you rename all.)
  • OldProjectName. HH (there is a map of RoboHelp file. If you build card through RoboHelp IDS and have a file mapping for each source document, you will have one or more of these files. Do not forget to rename all.)
  • OldProjectName. HPJ (it is a RoboHelp project settings file).
  • OldProjectName. HPR (it is a file in RoboHelp backstage.)
  • OldProjectName. RBH (you will have one or more of these files. Do not forget to rename all.)
  • OldProjectName. RTF (RTF to a source document file. You will have one or more of these files. Do not forget to rename all.)
    4 rename or delete the following files:
  
  Reminder: If you delete, RoboHelp automatically regenerate them when you reopen the project and save.
• OldProjectName. AKW (this contains your unused see also A - keywords)
• OldProjectName. ERR (it's the compilation error log and the last).
• OldProjectName. HPT (it is a file in RoboHelp backstage.)
• OldProjectName. KKW (it contains your Index unused K-keywords).
• oldprojectname.PRS (it is a file in RoboHelp backstage.)
• OldProjectName. RTA (it is a file in RoboHelp backstage.)
• OldProjectName. RTK (it is a file in RoboHelp backstage.)
• OldProjectName. RTS (it is a file in RoboHelp backstage.)
  5 delete the following files:
• OldProjectName. GHC, if the list (it is a Visual Basic constant additional language mapping file).
• OldProjectName. GID (it is a hidden configuration file generated by WinHelp when you run the compiled help to WinHelp file).
• OldProjectName. HLP (this is the compiled help to WinHelp file).
• OldProjectName. Inc., if the list (this is a mapping of additional language file include Turbo Pascal).
• OldProjectName. NO, if the list (it is a mapping of additional card of Delphi language file).
  6 change the oldprojectname. HPR file by using Notepad:
• Open the HPR file in Notepad.
• Under the [Document Files] section, locate the line containing the text oldprojectname. DOC = 1. Rename this line so that it displays NomProjetName. DOC = 1. (For example, CATZ. DOC = 1 would become cats. DOC = 1.)
• Find and fix all the other instances of oldprojectname while they are all renamed to be NomProjetName.
• If you rename your project in order to put it on another logical drive, find and fix all instances of the old name of logical drive so that they are all renamed to be the new name for logical drive. This works best when looking for :- (colon backslash).
• Save the HPR, but open Notepad.
  7 change oldprojectname. HPJ in Notepad:
• Open the HPJ file in Notepad.
• Under the [FILES] section, rename oldprojectname. RTF to NomProjetName. RTF. (For example, CATZ. RTF would become CATS. (RTF).
• Under the heading [map], rename oldprojectname. HH to NomProjetName. HH. (For example, #include would become #include .)
• Find and fix all the other instances of oldprojectname while they are all renamed to be NomProjetName.
• If you rename your project in order to put it on another logical drive, find and fix all instances of the old name of logical drive so that they are all renamed to be the new name for logical drive. This works best when looking for :- (colon backslash).
• Save the HPJ file but open Notepad.

8 change the oldprojectname. CNT in Notepad:
• In Notepad, open the file of the CNT.
• On the: basic line, rename oldprojectname. HLP-NomProjetName. HLP. (Example: CATZ Base.) HLP would become: basis of CATS. (HLP).
• If the CNT file explicitly named the aid project on one or more table of contents pages (something like @oldprojectname. (HLP), rename the statement of aid project for each page in the table of contents:
  o the search menu, select replace.
  o search, enter @oldprojectname. HLP. (For example: @CATZ.) (HLP)
  o in replace with, enter @newprojectname. HLP. (For example: @CATS.) (HLP)
  o use next or replace all to replace all occurrences of the statement.
• Find and fix all the other instances of oldprojectname while they are all renamed to be NomProjetName.
• If you rename your project in order to put it on another logical drive, find and fix all instances of the old name of logical drive so that they are all renamed to be the new name for logical drive. This works best when looking for :- (colon backslash).
• Save the file of the CNT and exit Notepad.
  9. open the newly renamed in RoboHelp help project.
  10. check the project title that appears on the title bar main Help window:
• On the file menu of the RoboHelp Explorer, select project settings.
• Click the project tab.
• As part of the project, rename the title, if you wish. (When you created the project, you entered in this field.) The title in this field is displayed if you have not one. CNT file.)
  11 click 'OK' to exit the project settings dialog box and save your changes.

12 'clean up' General measures (optional):
• Make sure your Image files listed under folder pictures (BMROOT) image missing files. If missing a folder, locate the missing picture file.
• If the project contains macros or hotspots that specifically name this help file, edit the hotspots and update the help file name. (You can also use dialog box replace RoboHelp to replace multiple instances of the name of the help file.)
• If this project is associated with a master help system, you'll want to test using master system carefully, links and everything, to make sure that nothing is 'broken' due to rename project.
  13. check all the settings to each presentation from a single source. Make sure they are all correct.
  14 compile the project of assistance for each presentation from a single source. View each output file and check its title bar, the contents, the Index tab tab and search to test the help file.

• Should project files I absolutely to be stored on the boot drive by FCP 6

  Hello. I always understood that the FCP 6 project files must be stored on your boot drive and would like to know if it is still the recommended location (and why in this case) or I can store them on a 2nd internal drive or an external drive without any degradation of performance.   You have Finder > Preferences > advanced (on the Mavericks) configured to display file extensions?  The ".jpg" is perhaps already there.

• Loss of project files

  I've got Final Cut 10.2.2

  I was working on projects that I transferred to a library into a new library, because the disc, I saved the original library to a lack of space. So I just changed to a new disk with a terabyte of space. Background of the project and files transfer has been reported as having been completed. I had closed FCX and opened it without problem.

  While working on a project, the disc drive broke a connection for some reason any. In my view, a connection drop Thunderbolt. And FCPX asked me to close the library. She offered no other choice, but to check again, what he wouldn't do it despite the disk is connected and available in the finder again.

  So I closed the library and reopened to find all the project files and all the media disappeared.

  The library package seems intact in the finder. However, FCPX refused to open the content.

  It is a very serious problem in FCPX if cannot be corrected.

  How can I save a project as an 'iMovie project file' and share it with others so that they can change whatever they want in it? Using iMovie 10.1.1

  Do not save as a project file option as in iMovie iPad.

  Don't see anything in the events of iMovie folder.

  You must share a comprehensive library, if you create a library containing only the desired project and its associated events.  Note that other people must use exactly the same version of iMovie and if you have media from your library which comes from the library from another application (for example.   Frankly, this is not a simple thing or practice to do so.

• Error opening project file

  Hi all

  I have a microwave (v9) office project file.

  This project contains about 6 to 8 schematic files. Overall size of the project is about 400 KB.

  Earlier I could open this project file and simulate without any error.

  But now I am unable to this project opens successfully.

  On the opening of this project, an error window appears which gives error reading for document No. files.  21 to 34. After you close all the windows of these 14 error, the project opens but only with the graphic details & without any schematic file

  Thus, no race simulation now happening.

  Details of the error are fixed here.

  I need the urgent scheme to start my pcb Assembly. I have neede the urgent values pane

  I am writing a DLL LabVIEW to inspect the LabVIEW project files, and I noticed that if a project has a .lvlib reference in its dependencies, then the Run-Time Engine is contradictory on whether or not he can find the project file:

  • Project.Open returns error 7 (file not found)

When I used to get the path of LabVIEW libdir in the ini of the executable file, execution is able to load and inspect the project file.

While it is expected that a stand-alone executable can be placed on a system that does not have the LabVIEW IDE, it is still surprising to me that the execution engine cannot find standard library of LabVIEW without some explicit guidance. What other factors contribute to this behavior?

• using the cfg recorded vi analyzer for another project file

  I have a cfg VI Analyzer file that works with the project, in which it was created. It contains settings that I use for all my projects. When I copy the cfg to a new project file, it only allows me to analyze the project, just. Is there a way to redirect the file to the new project?

  If you open your .cfg in Notepad, you see a reference to your other project or file path?  If so, this is the token that must be modified to be associated with a different project.  I suggest to make a copy of your file and record a new to work with your new project.
