Rename several files from (001) & not (1)?

When I play my photo files in a slideshow on my TV, the software slide show TV 'sequences' my files photo (1), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (17), (18), (19), (2), etc. (21) AND NOT in the order digital (1), (2), (3), etc. (4).

So, when "rename multiple files" in Windows XP, is possible to order the files of sequences of numbers such as: - (01), (02), (03) (04) or (001), (002) (003), (004) etc. instead of the standard (1), (2), (3), (4)...?

There is a freeware program called "Bulk Rename Utility".  If this program can not do what you want (and I'm sure it will be) then it cannot be done.  Method 10 is a "numbering" option which will be pré-pend or add a number to the name starting with zeros (filling) that you specify.  The program is a little overwhelming, but it comes with a good manual.

    Hello

After taking the tablespace offline, manually copy you the file E: D:\ORACLE112\ORADATA\ORCL\ loction location? You must manually copy the data file and then execute alter tablespace rename datafile and then recover tablespace and put online.

  • Bug? Print several files from the Explorer of Windows 7.

When I try to print multiple files of a directory displayed in the Explorer of Windows 7, the print command of the context menu is available ONLY when the selected for printing files are ALL visible on the screen. For example, if I select 5 contiguous files in the list view, and they are all visible on the screen, then I can print all 5 files from the print command from the context menu. But if I select 30 contiguous files in the list, and only 25 of these files are visible on the screen, then the print command disappears in the context menu. Is this a bug in Windows 7?

Other reports in the forums, there seems to be a limit of 15 files, but I didn't know he documented by Microsoft.  I don't think it's important that all files are visible on the screen.

  • How to batch rename the files from SomeNumber.dwg to SomeNumber_TA.dwg?

    Thank you.

You might want to try the freeware "Bulk Rename Utility" (DAUGHTER-IN-LAW).  I know will say you that you can not install additional programs, but BRU has a version that does not install (just decompress anywhere and run) more a few versions that run from the command prompt.  Click on the following link and go to the section "other files":

  • Why do I get several files from office?

For some reason any in the folder owner, I not only my real desktop folder, but also another folder named "Desktop". If I open this folder, I have another folder with the name "New folder" and in this case, I have another office. Whenever I try to remove excessive workstations, I get a message saying I don't have permission. Sometimes it allows me to remove them, but them I can't use my office more: everything is frozen and I can't click on anything whatsoever. I really want to know what is happening and how to solve the problem.

    Hello

    ·        Since when are you seeing multiple office files in the system?

    ·        Are you able to boot to the desktop normally?

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

I suggest you to start in safe mode then do a system restore to the previous point, when the system worked very well and see if the problem is resolved. Follow the steps mentioned below to start in safe mode.

    a. restart the computer and keep tapping F8 until you reach the start menu.

    b. Select safe mode in boot options and press ENTER.

Follow step 2 to do a system restore.

    Step 2:

See the article mentioned below to do a system restore.

    System Restore: frequently asked questions

    Method 2:

I suggest to create a new user account and check if the problem persists. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

  • Property info 'Year' on the music file from XP not visible in Vista

Under XP, I used to add a date which was recorded a music file (such as '2001-01-01', or 'unknown').  None of this information will appear in Vista.  Vista does not display and only allows you to enter the 4 numbers in this area.

Is it possible to change this in Vista?

I have spent a lot of time organizing my music files and was shocked when this info was not visible in Vista.

No idea if Win7 has the same problem?  If this isn't the case, I could always upgrade.

    Hello Jirot,

If your question is about the info tag shown in Windows Explorer, only the numbers that can be entered or displayed in the field of the year by their design.  Unfortunately, your choice of the tag of the year to keep the record full dates was not a good thing.

I suggest that you use a music tag editor to edit your data instead of using Windows Explorer or Windows Media Player.  There are many available freeware editors.  A good editor like Mp3Tag will allow only the lot by moving your dates of record of the year in a comment field, which is suitable for the recording of dates.

I don't know how Windows 7 handles the year tag (perhaps someone will comment), but I suspect it is the same as Vista.

  • Book of 10 with several files frame crashing when I change the numbering at the level of the book.

I built a picture book (image 10) with several files from a variety of books. The files have inlays of text and references to breast and between chapters. When I go to set the numbering at the level of the book - as soon as I click on the Numbering dialog box Set - Framework breaks down and I get an internal error 10024, 6382424, 6369627, 6383085. I have attached a screenshot.frame crash.png

I take the files on the book and added back in. These files worked fine in the original books, that I copied them from. I can't get the book to number correctly. Help, please.

    Hi, Estelle,.

Don't know if this is relevant to what you are feeling, but...

I've encountered similar problems of numbering with several of my books.

What fixed it finally for me, is that I discovered that some files were overrides of paragraph style (not necessarily related to positions or section heads.

Once I removed all replacements of these files, numbering issues have been resolved.

While I use the plugin Tools section , you can scan your files for the substitutions with built-in FM find/replace.

I have several files in my temp folder that I can't delete, rename, copy, or move. I was hunting for them with research and it brings back me to the same temp file. The registry can not find them. I even tried to delete using BACK, but it says no file. I get no error message just bong when I try to remove it. I just tried to delete them in safe mode, it did not work.

You can navigate to the folder in the command prompt?  From the record have you tried del *. * ?

    Tommy,

You've done a good job answering my question.  Somehow, and I don't know how I did it I accidentally erased all the favourites I had accumulated for quite some time.  I have not found these missing Favorites in the trash that is where I would have expected to have. But that's another story and not a good thing.  I have so appreciated your efforts and I hope at some point I can get these favorites - wherever they are now.
