Rendering of a movie

When I save/record a movie using Windows Movie Maker and leave the computer alone for hours (overnight) to let him finish, the system does not recognize the rendering as 'activity' so the usual screen saver, hard drive sleep, stop the monitor, etc. occur and does not end the rendering.

If I play music in parallel with rendering, the music is considered to be activity and the computer finishes to make the video.

Is the choice to consider the rendering of a movie as something determined by HP or the Windows operating system? If by Windows, HP in the settings of the computer that's change?

Hi PapaJohn-MVP,

According to me, the power management settings are controlled by the operating system. In addition, Windows Movie Maker is an application from Microsoft so that they would have the ability to change how the system reacts to the activity of this application.

You can always change your power settings to not allow your PC sleep or keep awake hard drive.

However, after you make the changes using WMM, it made the results in a noticeable loss of quality. He has gone from scathing in short and sufficiently legible to recognizable but a little fuzzy. It has also inflated the size of the new file .avi three times his original size (before half of the vido out cropping!). And the .wmv that I tried to make was definitely smaller but simply horrible appearance. Here the image on the left is the original video, and the right image is rendered of WMM in .avi format:

I must be something wrong, but I don't know anything about how to use WMM (my first use of it). I use the default settings to the best of my knowledge.

  • After 4 min video rendered photoshop, the .mov file is 63GB

It's quite too big, I was going with the presets for rendering HD 1080.  I have several layers of text, should I merge them? I probably should have struggled with premierepro, but felt a lot more comfortable with photoshop.

I'm all up-to-date with the latest CC.

Well done, thanks for the screenshot.

You used the Animation codec, but what is the original size. Therefore, use H.264 rather (delivery codec), the Animation Codec is a codec installation (but not commonly used these days). It may be quite big, but nowhere near 63 GB.

  • Rendering of multiple movies in the same model

I try to make 40 clips from the same model, each in a different area of selected work. Of course I can set my workspace and send it to the render queue and click go 40 times. Ideally, I would like to set my workspace and then add to the queue, then reset a workspace and add it to the queue and so immediately before making them all at once. When I try this it just makes it all with the same area of work as the newest one that I added.

I have to attend every rendering before resetting the working area or is it possible to stack the different areas of activity in a queue?

    Thank you very much.

After sending each element to the render queue, open rendering parameters and set the time to custom settings.  He will inherit the current weather of the area to work, but them will change again when you adjust the work area.

(Nucleo Grill is a valuable aid for jobs like that, because a) it creates a temporary copy of the project made that is not performed by subsequent changes to the project and b) because you can send an item to the queue of rendering, made to start and continue to work and add items to the queue While continues rendering.

  • Movement 'tremble '.

    Hello

I have a membership with 5 full hd videos in a row. With a horizontal movement for a long time, I want to show all the video files.

    Please look at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHkw-ZZ0vk8

My problem: there are a lot of flicker or shake... I don't know how to say. It is not a smooth move.

How can I solve this problem? I want a smooth movement.

I have tried many different rendering output (mp4, mov, avi, with 25 images, 50 frames,...) it still the same.

I see the flicker also to effects RAM Preview.

    Best regards.

  • No audio in any Media Encoder and rendered

I'm making some audio file to WAV only. I see that there was a bug introduced with the new CC 13.5.1 update. Workaround suggested using media encoder. Unfortunately, I don't have the last media encoder installed because I am on a computer controlled TI work and they do not installed the most recent Media Encoder. Anyway I can get a WAV file? AVI not either restores audio. I'm on a PC.

What version of Adobe Media Encoder do you have? CC 2014 might work with CC 2015 files since AE CC 2014 works with AE CC 2015 files. Do you still have the AE CC 2014 on your system? (If not, get your IT guy to install it: How to find and install the previous Version of Adobe Apps in 2015 CC |) Adobe Customer Care Team)

Otherwise, try rendering to a MOV - it should have audio.

  • green flashes when rendered in first CC 2014

    Hello

I'm an in-house cameraman and the editor of a financial firm in London. I use the last Macbook Pro retina with 16 GB of ram, graphics NVidia 750. I uses the same method for the installation of the last two years but have barely begun to edit with the latest version of the first cloud 2014. I mix PM-100 and Sony EX1 images I've done several times before. However I spend hours trying to get rid of green flashes who made their appearance on the renders.

These seem compatible with the use of the PMW-100 as the EX1 film seems ok. I can replace the clips of error with something else, but the rendering error then moves to another part of the record.

These flashes are invisible in reading within the editor, after having made.

I am trying to establish if it is the camera, camera drives, Macbook Pro retina or first.

Can anyone help to shed light on this?

    Andy

I was having the same problem and could not find a solution. He was also screwing some effects, including stabilizing of string every time that I've made or exported. Finally, I tried to change the rendering engine of acceleration GPU Mercury Playback Engine (Open CL) with Mercury Playback Engine Software only, and it worked like a charm. Browse to the file->-> General project settings and select the rendering in the menu engine drop-down. Make sure you also change the rendering engine when you export. Using Adobe Media Encoder, don't forget to select "Mercury Playback Engine software" only in the dropdown next to "Renderer" before exporting.

It has completely eliminated the problem for me.

  • CS5: Tearing of a movie is unbearably slow

I've been running into a recurring problem with the rendering of a movie where rendering takes too long. My test computer is 90 seconds, 1920 x 1080, 23.976 fps in 16-bit using 2 source encoded with the codec Prores 4444 k. With all the correction of color and compositing, rendering of source takes about 40 minutes. If I bring that made the movie back in and create a new comp with only this film, it will take 28 minutes to render.  I did many test and no matter what I do, it won't speed up. I tried Prores 4444 and Prores 422 compression or Animation, and they are all the same. JPEG and Tiff sequence took 17 and 14 minutes respectfully, much shorter, but still too long. I tried with and without multi-processing and spent hours testing configurations in the Panel of multiprocessing with no noticeable change in render times. I tried different source and destination drives. The volume of my main source is a double SAS 8-Bay RAID which has been carefully checked to ensure that it is not the bottleneck. FCP7, QTpro7 and first Pro CS5 can export the same files to film in 3 minutes approximately.  I don't know what is the cause, but it's absolutely maddening. Here are my system specs:

    12-core Mac Pro.

    26 GB of Ram

    OS 10.6.8

    ATI Radion HD 5870

    AE CS5 10.0.2.4

Then it must be some kind of memory or setting mp. My Mac CS5 and 5.5 are faster than earlier versions. Have you tried trashing the prefs and start again?

I just upgraded to cs4 CS5 and I discovered that won´t cs5 allow me to something that has to do with the quicktime codec. I tried to make some mov files h.265 but seconds after I started to the make I got an error message (error code:-1610153464), after flows having failed to render a mov cs5 refuses to read mov files in my project or and refused to import other mov files so that I had to restart the program. I get a message saying that the "MooV" file is probably corrupted. I tried every mov. Codec and lots of mov. the files that I had, to exclude the possibility that this has to do with one of my mov. I used files. CS4 has absolutely no problem, the same files of reading or rendering of the mov files. Rendering view, tiff-sequences etc. in cs5 works very well.

I already tried to reinstall cs5, but still have the error message.

The system is OS X 10.6.3 on an iMac i7. (Sequel to the German Production of Adobe)

  • Update Windows 8.1 on HP Pavilion 11 X 2

Hi, I just updated my HP Pavilion 11 X 2 to 8.1 windows and now my screen moves very slowly along all the apps and games. I checked the drivers, none of them have yellow signs on them. Fact complete an update so there is no update of HP's Windows, what should I do? Its almost unusable in this State. Thanks in advance.

    http://www.Intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-034493.htm

Here's the update: HP tried everything they could and nothing to move. But while we were sharing the monitors, I noticed that my display driver always said Basic, when he wasn't supposed to. Updates from HP or Windows updates does not solve it. Once they left I went to Intel.com and raised his eyes to the processor. For some reson did not have the utility detect so I put in the Info manually. I found Intel HD display drivers, who was suppose to install when you put updated to Windows 8.1 and downloaded on the internet browser and they installed after download. Guess what, everything is operstional now. No lag, no rendering problem, games move at normal speed with all applications. Here's the driver page, click on the tail of the Bay.

  • With the help of Canon 70 d ALL I have images directly, or DNxHD encoding to intermediary?

I was reading about smart rendering, and that led me to DNxHD in an intermediate format. I developed the prospect that DNxHD is a ProRes format - as Windows users can use with first to an intermediate format. Although without loss, DNxHD is apparently also resistant against the re-encoding of quality such as ProRes or close enough to be considered quite good. For my personal projects not pro, DNxHD looked a lot.

I then looked deeper into what my Canon product with ALL - a light bulb and I finally exploded when you read something ALL-I, where it seems that Canon is ALL I have is trying to help its users to avoid the loss of all intermediate formats by providing a format, all THE-I, which is apparently ready to go for editing... that is what ALL I have is apparently intended for.

This led me to want to compare the time coding sequences created with ALL I have versus DNxHD clips. I took a second ~ 60 ALL-I file .mov, transcoded to DNxHD, then used two clips, original ALL-I, as well as the new DNxHD based on EVERYTHING-I, compare the time encoding of each with or without use of preview (with or without smart rendering) files and move both h.264/MP4 and DNxHD...

Of the above, I don't see an advantage in avoiding cannon is - I because it seems to work as well as an intermediary DNxHD when comparing time coding of a format to DNxHD.

One advantage I've seen with DNxHD, is that, when it is used as edition/intermediate format, first washing seems to work more easily when you go forward / backward... If I slide the rear transport, many more images are instantly displayed for the sequence based on the DNxHD, while the ALL-I sequence a lag/delays while rubbing not as smooth everything by rubbing back / comes in timeline/monitor. Someone wrote about this new benefit in a post somewhere, saying it's all what they considered an advantage to an intermediate file DNxHD... and I saw first hand with the above tests.

This leads me to believe walk away from Canon of ALL - I in another intermediate format has no apparent performance to benefit while encoding, at least in my tests.

Am I missing something here or is it just?

I'm trying to establish a decent efficient workflow for use on a laptop old to 5 years, that's why I am asking this. Thank you.

One advantage I've seen with DNxHD, is that, when it is used as edition/intermediate format, first washing seems to work more easily when you go forward / backward.

It is the main source of motivation for transcoding.  I have change everything as Cineform files for just this service.  (He breeds again once you start to apply some effects.)

  • Save ram preview bypass?

I know save an extract does not work at the moment, but if the preview is in ram, there must be a way to save it. Someone at - he found a way to get there? I suppose I could screen capture, but have not found a solution of PC screenshot yet. I was hoping that it was on the iofx inclination is positioned as advised 0.00001. In the same way you used to be able to find the cache renders FCP and move the QuickTimes...

What I've found, is that even when 'Save RAM Preview' worked - it's not instant, it took some time to make the images and create a file. in CS6 if you RAM Preview in your publication and choose 'Save RAM Preview' when it's done--he has to make the file of photos are stored in RAM to the default preset - which has the current settings for rendering parameters and the codec lossless for output module. but you can make just the file with your Cached frames cyrrent settings and you will get exactly the same result and rendering time. This means that Ae use frameworks of caching anyway.

Another way to explain it is that when you load your RAM settings (the bar is green), rendering parameters that take into account and if the Cache that you have taken is equal in terms of parameters - it will be in fact, that he makes, 'save' the RAM Preview. That's why when you restore a file after RAM preview - it is much faster (if the rendering parameters match the current settings of your publication)

If you want to create your own "Save RAM Preview" simply choose 'settings' preset for your render settings and choose a codec without loss of output Module. This is the best you could do in terms of use of the RAM Preview, I think. I always use the current settings for my disk cache settings in the render settings - Tip box: writing in the disk cache when rendered through the render queue. Creative blog Cloud by Adobe

  • Lumetri color on the screen is not the same as the released film, help!

Just upgraded to 2015.3 and have no issues, but especially on a live project I had color classified and exit before the end.

I had to add in a new clip from the film to discover the LUT, I had asked only appears checked in the basic menu and is not listed in the drop-down list to add to a new clip. I found my collection LUT in a subfolder of Legacy in the content Package. I moved these into the technical record and then applied the LUT to the clip. Everything looks great on the screen (color screens calibrated etc.). But on the rendering of the movie that he looks terrible, nothing like the movie I see on the screen.

It is a live project that I must deliver tomorrow and have spent the better part of 4 hours to try to figure out what is the issue. Any help really appreciated. Really want to have to rebuild the entire film.

I had problems with makes it default since the update to Windows 10 with the following error message:

He has no less mid-term to make (at 01:58:22 04:10) after 2 h 57 min. Also my project is 8bpc set in the project settings so why the error says his 16bpc rendering (is this due to an effect)?

    Using the version of EI:

AE CC2015.2 Version 13.7.1.6 (I do not use multiprocessing, in fact I don't see even as an option in the Menu preferred?)

    Plugins:

    Magic Bullet Suite (12.1.4)

    Rendering parameters:

MOV Quicktime H264 with Audio (AAC), 100% quality, 8bpc

    Specifications of the PC:

16 GB of RAM, Intel i7-4790, NVIDIA GeForce 720

Running Windows 10 (1511) 64-bit with any questions, or running Windows 8.1 (6.3 Build 9600) 64-bit without problems.

    QuickTime:

    Version 7.7.9

I have no other applications running while using the AE and rendering. Rendering will end if I set the quality up to 70%, which seemed strange to me because I would have assumed that AE needed to store more information on each image (and images on each side) in order to make the compression. I drove back to 8.1 Win and using the same make settings, him finished in 2:32 with no error. I've also been able to release no compressed Animation QuickTime in 16bpc on 8.1 Win I can't do on 10 to win.

The film is loaded in AE as sequences of images (uncompressed), with a DOF, motion blur, color correct pass - there is a lot of stuff happening on each image, but his uniform in the project. I mean, he didn't suddenly to a framework intensive and abandoned, it not there no difference between managers, that he had failed and the rest of the project. There is nothing he should not be able to manage (and it is worked on Win 8.1).

I'm just confused as to why it would be rendered OK on Win 8.1 but so sluggish and fail on 10 to win? And what can be a solution? Looks like a problem with the RAM not be reconstituted?

The first thing I want to say is that he is a very good question. Thank you.

I'm sure that your AE is updated but make sure. I'm on a Mac so right now our version numbers are different. Because the full architecture is being rebuilt, there is no Multi treatment in 2015 CC.

Make sure that the Magic Bullet is up-to-date. As good that I have not updated my Magic Bullet for a long time because they have a different workflow for the color adjustment.

The problem I see is with the rendering parameters. QuickTime has completely abandoned their support for H.264 in a Quicktime container. He has never worked well, and when he did he was unreliable and slow to render as a delivery format. I would never use this format. If you use Adobe Media Encoder to render your h.264 as a MP4 using one of the predefined default settings then that is the way to go. If you make a computer directly in the SOUL, than rendering through AE output module because AE are running in the background. If you have used the Ray-tracing and have a NVIDIA / map CUDA compatible then the SOUL will not use your GPU for rendering and she will be forever and may not work at all.

I guess that's your pass rendering because you choose a MPEG format which is not really suitable for mounting more far and re - compress. My recommendation would be first purge the cache of your disk and the image in AE and will then return in a production master format adapted from the landmark Render, and then encode your H.264 in the SOUL. Several times, it will be faster that make a model directly in the SOUL. By far the shortest makes time in him come from SOUL of a master of production without loss of quality. Most of the time I just send makes the TEA directly from the AE, and then I continue to work on other shots because I can't afford to wait. It is the most effective for me, but if the project is under a tight delivery deadline I'll usually make a mastery of the production of EI and then compress it in SOUL for delivery.

If you get the error, there could be another thing that past can be fixed by changing the cache settings in the Panel preferences Secret. You access this Panel by holding down the SHIFT key when you open Preferences > General. Disable the Cache layer and serve the latest images.

  • Sequel to SOUL 64 Bit Media Encoder, Windows 8.1, Production Premium CS6.  Difficulty

I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and loaded my suite Production Premium CS6. But only 32 bit Media Encoder charge when I come to export from Prem Pro. Therefore?, the CPU is only useful to 12%, with a 3.4 ghz I7 when rendering of a movie to export and to think these are very slow! I tried a 3rd party encoder and the CPU util sitting on 100% of all hearts. How can I fix it?

Sort, this is a problem and have found a response on another thread, it's because Prem Pro 64-Bit is the 32-bit SOUL, then the answer is to create a 64-bit SOUL shortcut, rename it to look like the actual program and drop the shortcut in the directory of 64-bit pro Prem. To be more precise, you must create a shortcut from the directory C:\program files\adobe\adobe media encoder cs6 CS6, copy to C:\program files\adobe\adobe first pro cs6 after renaming the shortcut Adobe Media Encoder. Given the c:\program files is where are the 64-bit versions of the Adobe Suite and Adobe Premiere CS6 64 bit was previously loading SOUL of the C:\program (x 86) \Adobe Media Encoder, which is the 32-bit version.
