  The paid version offers protection in real time and may come into conflict with mse, the free verion should however work fine

  Google Chrome is a problem:

  • If you use the clean Chrome PDF Viewer, the results are unpredictable.
  • If you use the Adobe Reader with Chrome plugin, it can reject (block) If this isn't the latest version.  11.0.08 drive is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome can insist on the current version 11.0.10.

  My suggestion; Use a different browser!

• I deleted by mistake my certificates. Now, I get the error messages trying to connect to gMail, eBay and my bank accounts, etc.

Now, when I try to log in to gmail, ebay, my bank accounts or any https:// site, I get a warning message "this connection is Untrusted." I click on the links provided to overcome the safety message, but whenever I return to the site I have to jump through all the hoops again. I see a small box that can be clicked to confirm security exception, but the little box that must be clicked to "make the permanent exception" is always grayed out. I know I'm on the right sites - have been using the links on the personal bar for years without problems. It started right after I deleted the certificates.

  I've tried everything. Firefox RELOADED (use 3.6.4) deleted and reloaded the bookmarks, follow the instructions when I get the error message. Nothing works. As soon as I close the browser, and then go back online, I'm back to error messages.

  However, I had a problem with deleting the files. I dragged to the trash, and then tried to access the sites in question and received the same message. I restarted the computer and when I checked the files I was dragged to the trash were right where they were before. The only file that are been trashed was the .txt file.

  So I renamed them as you suggested and now everything works fine.

  When I copy a layer from one document to another in PS CC 2015.5 and then try to move the layer in the destination document, I get the error message that the layer is empty.  It is not empty and I checked several times and checked that the layer is not empty.  I have never had this problem before and wonder if something has changed in CC 2015.5.

  Thanks to all who responded.  I think the problem was that I was using the NEF files and that he had not yet renamed PSD files.  Copy the layer in the destination document, but when I tried to move the layer in the destination document, I received the error message.  Apparently, he was copying the layer but there not then recognize the NEF format.  Once I saved both documents to the PSD, then the program behaved normally.  I appreciate your all of the help.

  If you had installed the LIghtroom using Time Machine backup application or any other Adobe applications, yes it is best to perform the entire process of removal and reinstallation.

  If its just catalogue, that's fine, you can simply uninstall and reinstall Lightroom.
