  Enter the formula in B2 (for example), click on the green check mark to confirm the entry.

  Place the mouse pointer near the bottom edge of the cell B2. Enter the yellow filling control handle that appears in the middle of the lower part of the selection rectangle enclosing the cell and drag down.

  Hi David,

  I would put in place a specific map and a table of the data entry of your employees. The budget table/sheet would take data from there, and you could block this table to discourage changes.

  In iOS, I would create a form. It would allow the data entry and access to the formula results but of formats and formulas cold not be displayed in the form.

  The result of a comparison or logical operation (OR, AND, =, <> , etc.) is 0 (False, zero) or 1 (True, we).

  Change the formula for

  (IN (1), IN (0) AND IN (3) AND IN (2)) * 13

  In my limited testing, any value not zero entries will test to TRUE, if one is zero, then the output is zero, otherwise, the output is 13.

  I have not installed on my PC of MATLAB.

  I need to be able to say from the entry Panel custom formula "y = sin(Fm*2*pi*t[i]) + 2 * sin(3*Fm*2*pi*t[i]) + 3 * sin(4*Fm*2*pi*t[i])..."

  This form may contain a variable of harmonics (sine or cosine functions), but strict number of input parameters: Fm, t [i].

  FM - is a frequency.

  [i] t - is a time (ramp model) which is a table

  Can I pass array as a parameter of t [i] entry in formula node? How to do what other parameters, which are constants?

  Is there another method how to implement this - using the variable functions count?

  You are still far too complicated and it's still not scalable for a variable number of terms. You must be able to get out of math based text and think in terms of real LabVIEW.

  Here's a quick example using the terms in your first post (I show only a picture, because I have more LabVIEW 7.1).

  If you have more than a couple of terms generally, I tenacious feel that it would be simpler to configure a table complex stick (with the desired amplitude and frequency positions) and do an inverse FFT on this.

• dynamic data in the formula is originally running slow and weird results

  I am collecting 11 channels of analog input voltage, then perform a series of calculations (different, editable) on each channel of the voltage to convert each temperature sensor.

  My first step in calculations (with the help of multiply, subtract and divide blocks) works very well.

  My second step of calculations (which includes a natural logarithm "ln") is performed with the formula block. However, the formula block has three red arrows where are the constants of entry, and the results of the formula block are intermittent and incorrect (if drawn, drop the lightning just drawn what looks like a value of 1 intermittently... If saved to a csv file, the results show a bunch of zeros and then a row of values, then more zeros).

  I don't know if I need to convert my dynamic data in a table before feeding in the formula, or if there is another way by applying a complex formula of dynamic data, or...? I would stick with dynamic data because it makes tracing easier, but I'm open to other suggestions.

  

  

  The answer is very simple- do not use Dynamic Data.  I have never understood why NEITHER created this (other than to show "how easy it is to collect the DAQ and screw Express Wizard" (and not to mention that you lose a lot of control over what you do).)  There have been many questions here in the Forums and a number of players with a lot more experience I have also made the same recommendation.

  I don't know where the dynamic data in your case.  If it came from the DAQ Assistant, by all means read this and get rid of this wizard!

• Initialization of an array to match another size of array using the formula node.

  I want to get a few different pictures of the same length and constants in the formula node and output a table corresponding to their length after some minor calculations. Another post, I discovered that I can simply initialize the table as such:

  float pp [100];

  The problem is that I find myself with a much bigger picture than what I need. I want to do is something like:

  float [n] pp.;

  where n represents the entry of an array size in the form node or is something like:

  n = sizeOfDim(td0,0);    Here I use a table 1 d

  None of these methods seem to work. How do I initialize my picture 'pp' such that it matches the length of array 1 d of "td0?

  The more likely your initialization externally.  Create an entry named pp and wire td0 inside as well.  Now create an output with the pp even name and it will contain an array of the desired length.  Of course, this assumes that you want to edit all items in pp.  Otherwise, just use initialize the array to create a new table and feed in the length of td0, and whatever default value you want (ie. 0 or NaN).  The blank values will keep this value after the node of the formula.

  my understanding is that it is NOT a selection in the drop-down list.

  After having clicked on the 'Additional search criteria' link, you should see a window pop up, are you able to see the first section entitled "Formulation of entries?

  If you see it and click on the button ' add new ' section, you can see a second pop-up window, the drop in the 2nd window is to filter the material specifications of entry.

  After choosing one, in your case it might be 'tomato' material spec, then you set Condition (greater or equal) and to update the target to 40.

  The formula checks and working at level 0, but my request is related to the aggregation of month in the quarterfinals. MBR1_IN members & MBR2_IN gave responsible for all months, i.e. from Jan to Dec and when it is retrieved to Qtr levels it shows correct aggregated data, however for Member MBR1_CL which data takes the MBR2_IN for Jan, Feb, Mar months it does not show the correct aggregation in Qtr1 shows rather value of Member MBR1_IN in Qtr1. I set value of order of resolution as '2' for MBR1_CL, 3 'for Qtr1 and all other members being default ' 0'. Could you please help and suggest a solution to have correct data aggregated to all levels for Member MBR1_CL.

  Question about the intended functionality of the Board explode tool in the specs of the formulation. Is the expected behavior when I select the entry be flattened makes for all child exit formula in this hierarchy relationships? When I choose BOM explode on an entry that corresponds to one expense of another form, it blows only this level. It is not exploded one of the other outputs child formula within the hierarchy. Is this expected behavior, or is supposed to do a complete Nomenclature flattened for the whole hierarchy?

  The current tool will only one level at a time.    While ease of use is a little annoying in situations where you don't want to flatten the hierarchy, the approach used currently gives you the most control of how much you want to go.  For example, you can have a form of low level that is not changing if you do not want to include more than just the output of this formula in your BOM.

  We have features on the roadmap that allows you to specify the number of levels that the system to go while being able to reconstruct a hierarchy so please submit an enhancement request with as much information in the use cases you want to cover so we can ensure that our new features do you need to do.

  When nutrition or the conformity of materials data changes, it should be updated in the formulation of a manually. then the CDC nutrition or compliance can roll in the output of formulation.

  Can you click once in the formulation and updating of all materials of automatic entry? How to implement this fuction?

  Yes, you can update the change in formulation.  In the specifications of the formulation (in edit mode), click on tools-> refresh in the menu.

• Question about the formula of Member and BegBalance

  I have a requirement where I need to calculate the value of '' suffering '' and need to save it somewhere so that I can use it to display on the dataforms.

  I was planning to write a formula for this member. Can I use substitution variables, as title, etc. PriorMonth in the form of Member to achieve this?

  I can't get rid of unwanted entries in the playlist.  There is no x in the top right and the items won't slide.  I'm on Yosemite 10.10.5

  Highlight the item in the playlist column.  Hold down the CTRL key.  Click on the item and options pop up.  Select remove the element.  Yes I know.  Why they have just under the X in the corner?
