repair boot problems boot does not work

I have windows vista home basic with version 6 of windows and have accidentally deleted some programs affecting my startup registry and wlidcli.dll and I don't have my original installation cd what can do?

Hi Dennis,

Wlidcli.dll file is related to the Windows Live program.

You receive messages or error codes? If Yes, what is the complete error message you receive?

Step 1:

If you are unable to boot into normal mode, you can try to perform the last good known Configuration and check if it helps.

Using the last good known Configuration

Step 1:

You can also check if you can boot into safe mode and let us know the results.

Start your computer in safe mode

    Hi again, matanm

At this point, I would contact service customer in Israel, that I can't think of any other software issue which could be responsible for this. It is also reinforced by the fact that the microphone did not work since you bought the machine. The number of support for Israel is + 972-3-531-3900.

  • Hyphenation problem! does not work...

OK, I've been using paragraph styles and the hyphenation option checked and does not work... manually and nothing, tried with the other guy, the other text, other version od Indesign... and nothing!

Please, if anyone knows if there is something that can block, I will appreciate your help!

    Thank you

To get all the details first. What version of ID? You have the latest patch? OPERATING SYSTEM?

Then, what language is assigned to the text? Highlight the word that you think should be break and watch the character Panel or control panel, and check the language. A common trick to avoid hyphenation is to assign [No. language]. Also remember that hyphenation is actually active (check again - it could be activated in the style, but off as a local override), and that No Break is not assigned to the floor.

  • boot does not work

When you try to start the computer, it goes to "Windows cannot start" and gives 4 options to try.  No matter which option is chosen, he spends just back to the page "Windows cannot start.

It would be useful to know what the message you see actually says unless he really says "Windows cannot start.

    What are the 4 options?

Remember - we can not see what you see, please describe a little better.

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

    Fill in the blank:

My system worked well until: _.

If there is a problem starting, XP is configured to automatically try to start again and you can stuck in a loop not being able to go beyond the screen boot options, or none of these startup options you choose will work only.

Sometimes, when XP has a problem starting or falls down and tries to start again, it will give you a "short" menu of boot options and none of them will appear to be good to get your system going again.  You have tried them all!

The options are similar to the Advanced Boot Options menu XP, but the only option that you need (disable automatic error system reboot) are not offered, because XP went too far during the boot process and offers a limited number of boot options.

If this is the case, you must call Options menu advanced boot yourself until you do not see the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

When you get the XP Advanced Options correct start menu you want to see, he has options on it like these:

    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt

    Enable Boot logging
    Enable VGA mode
Last good Configuration known (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
    Debug mode
Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

    Start Windows normally
    Reset
    Return to OS Choices Menu

You need to choose in this menu is the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

Then if XP does not start normally, you will see an error screen with information and clues about the problem and then you can decide what to do next.

If you do not see the automatic restart on system failure option turn it off, you must reset your system and start typing the key F8 on the keyboard until you see her disable automatic restart on system failure option.

If you miss the window of opportunity F8, you must try again and start pressing the F8 key with more urgency (earlier and more frequently) until you see disable automatic restarts on system failure, and then select it.

You must keep trying the F8 menu until you see disable automatic restart on system failure option, and select it.

Answering queries and results report of the disable automatic restart on system failure screen and you can decide what to do next.

  • Windows 8 Advanced Boot does not work * SOLVED *.

I recently got the Ouya console and I'm looking to develop games for it. Part of the configuration forces me to install the drivers manually unsigned, but Windows 8 prevents this from happening. I need to disable driver signing enforcement and I read that you can make settings PC > General > early start.

The PROBLEM is when I have go ahead and click on troubleshooting and advanced startup, the screen goes black and nothing is displayed. I tried auto repair and it does the same thing! A normal restart works fact just fine and if a normal stopping and starting at the top. The computer itself still works as I can hear it and can switch on and off on my keyboard caps lock (I see the light switch on). I have to reset hard at my computer in holding the power at this point button. The strange thing is that I have a Macbook Pro with Win8 installed on it and the advance set up works very well! I would just use it but my office is a much better computer and my mac just don't cut it for development.

Someone at - it suggestions? Could this be my hard drive failing quick start? Or maybe my graphics card is just crazy?

I have a MSI 6850 with the latest amd for win8 64-bit drivers.

Very well. The MSI graphics card in that I added WAS the question. I opened the office and put in the Nvidia GT 620, one computer comes with and it works beautifully. Guess I'll have to buy a new graphics card and nvidia make it this time. !

  • [Flex 3] Old problem still does not work...

I had an error in my file (flex3/air), but I've removed this piece of code. It is a function within < mx:Script >.

But now, whenever start my application with the debugger, it stops when I click the button, which with I first activated this function. But it isn't anymore. And in Flex Builder, the line with the error number was the first turns green.

    How to solve this problem?

If you have not already tried, go to the Project menu and select clean so it will rebuild the output files. It is perhaps buffering some old swf somewhere.

    Hello

    1. what exactly happens if you mean when you talk about "clean boot does not work? Please provide details.
    2. have you tested the issue in a new user account, as suggested earlier?

Boot fails only when you have disabled a vital service of Microsoft (S). You must observe extreme caution when performing the clean boot procedure.

Note: Don't forget to restart your computer as usual after the clean boot.

PS: Your son is better suited to the Performance category, so this would be moved (Again) to performance and maintenance
