Repair of Microsoft Windows Vista Basic Boot option
Vista fails to load because of lack of device or driver, I am in the boot options edit which shows just what follows
Path: \Windows\System32|winload.exe
Score: 2
Hard drive: ccc3f323
{/ NOEXECUTE = OPTIN/BOOTLOG/SOS}
I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to solve the problem, would make my day to have a guide step by step so I mean worse than he is of things... thx.
Just wanted to update, finally gave up on problems of startup option and reset to the factory settings.

Windows Vista Basic colors - no option to change the colors?
If I open the appearance settings I have the option to select a color scheme, like that I use which is Windows Vista Basic color scheme. However there seems to be no way to change the colors of the regime. I want to change default bluish tints to something different. If I hit the Advanced button, it has a clunky menu to change the color of windows, fonts, and other. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. I changed the colors, but they do not apply in all cases and I'm still stuck with the blue wire.
What is going on? Is easier to change the colors of the window? It makes no sense to me.
Thank you
Tom
Here is an article on how to change the color scheme in Vista: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa394603(v=VS.85).aspx. NOTE: There are some limitations for Vista Basic so pay attention to them and use the options that they need, and you should be able to do.
If this does not work, market, the system cannot be activated for color schemes... Here is an article on how to enable this feature in all versions of Vista:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/182471-color-scheme-allow-prevent-change.html.

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Permium freezes to the logon screen or gets stuck
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Permium freezes to the logon screen or crashes on the black screen with Copyright Microsoft Corporation with the load with six green bars moving through bar. It will start in safe mode. I ran the auto repair (recommended) when starting after being forced to stop. After it says its full it restarts and remains stuck on the black screen with Copyright Microsoft Corporation with the load bar with six green bars that cross so I force disable it again.
I had no problem with this computer, he got in last seven. It was working fine yesterday and then the without wire came out, so I restarted the computer to find the connection again as I had done several times before. That's when it froze on the opening of session and password screen. Who started this cycle of freezing or stuck on the black screen with the loading bar permanently running.
UPDATE:
Start safe mode then made the instructions on the clean boot. Not checked, all iteams he says and rebooted and it worked. So I went to the next step to select only half to refine the list. Restarted and when at the loading screen for a little over 30 sec - 1 min (which is more short than the time it took to work initially after the first stage of the boot with all unchecked), but it goes to a completely black screen that has not happened before. So now, a little lost, or do I have to keep trying to refine?Hi Greg,.
It will not harm the computer to run it in a boot environment. Some programs do not work properly because they were probably responsible for their own services and rely on them to work. You have disabled all non-Microsoft services, and things like printers and software can be difficult.
Click Start, then options type power and press ENTER. Let us make sure that the system is not configured to sleep. Go ahead and put the power plan to High Performance, then click on change Plan settings below. There will be a framework for "put the computer to sleep". The value than ever.
If it continues to turn black in clean boot mode, you may have a hardware problem. One thing you could do if it's a desktop system and really need to use it now, it is the lid of the machine and aim a fan in the box. This will help if it is overheating.
Please complete the steps to diagnose the problem with the boot when you have the chance.

Windows Vista Basic: Color scheme is missing
A few minutes earlier, I put my computer to sleep for 30 minutes and then when I turned it back on, I saw that the enlarge/reduce/Cancel buttons are all different. Then I realized that I could change is no longer the color scheme from Windows Vista. I have Windows Vista Basic and when I clicked on change the colors and appearance, a window pops up which had no colors to choose. I want my old Windows Vista Basic back and I'm panicking about how to solve the problem! Is no Aero de Windows option on my computer either!
In fact Windows Vista Basic doesn't support Aero. The Windows Aero visual experience includes bars menu similar to glass and Windows Flip 3D Live Thumbnails, these features are not available in it.
You can see the comparison between different versions of Windows Vista by link below

Some software must have been installed recently is interfering with the computer recognizing mp3 players. I tried running the system restore, disable Norton Internet Security and am still getting the message system restore was not sucessfully comlete. Your file of computer systems and settings did not change. Details - an unspecified error occurred during system restore. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello I have an another question - I ran sfc/scannow at the command prompt and got the message from Resource Protection Windows found corrupt files but was unable to solve some of them. I'm still having the problem as before and would be grateful for the help. Thank you.
Bridget Ferrazzano
Hi Bridget,
If there is not a restore point for the date you want to restore, you will not be able to restore to that date. Follow these steps to repair the files that were not repairable with SFC: If the SFC tool can not repair a file
