Repair of the system! Help!

I had a charger of BitTorrent and somehow after I uninstalled BitTorrent charger, all my programs have been somehow changed to open with this program. But not that it is uninstalled, any of my programs open. suddenly I get a message that says ""C:/Program Files/Document/Doc.exe not found Oat6 ". " How can I get that back so that my documents and ALL my other programs to open by default... ? !

Help me please!

Use your system restore and highlite an earlier date, as there are several days when computer worked well. After selecting a previous day or date. Click on this date and the system restore will take you there. Computer should work find then.

  • Error - the file awduu36e.sys is not found. Press a key to continue, not able to start after having done the repair of the system on the XP machine.

    Original title: the awduu36e.sys file is not found.

    After a repair of windows XP SP3, I receive, at startup, the message "the file awduu36e.sys is not found. Press a key to continue"- I can't press a key because the keyboard is not recognized or active at this point in the trunk, although I can access the BIOS earlier in the cycle. I tried to boot from the CD from Microsoft but get the same problem. -Any ideas please?

    Hi Kim,

    First of all thanks for respone and sorry for the delay to return but am in Australia so bit of a lag in time!

    OK the sequence goes as follows:

    1 gigabyte MB BIOS screen - at this stage sensitive keyboard and I can access BIOS OK.

    2. new screen - PCI resources; Checking DMI Pool etc. ;

    3. new screen - "Please choose which startup option:

    -Windows XP Home Edition

    -Installation of Windows XP.

    and countdown etc. - from this point in the sequence of the keyboard does not respond so cannot select the OS and inadmissible F8, then highlighted option default selected that is configured.

    4. new screen - "check you computer hardware configuration...".

    5. new screen - "the file awduu36e.sys is not found. Press a key to continue. "

    As the keyboard is unresponsive after the BIOS screen I have no way of influencing the order above.

    Other relevant points:

    -When you make commissioning/repair day I received the message to halfway through - "awduu36e.sys file is not found" and the option start over or ignore; after another attempt to a couple of times I chose skip so I guess that I got myself into this mess. What is awduu36e.sys anyway?

    -My copy of Windows XP Home Edition SP3 OEM is and has been installed when I got to the machine, so I think that some repair options are not available for me in any case.

    Again thank you very much for the reply and any help you can provide,

    Kind regards

    Fraser

    Looks like you are leaving it too late to use F8 (must be before the OS options appear)- and you have a partial installation of some versions of Windows in progress seeking the file on a CD.

  • Computer bluescreens and falls down, can't use safe mode or the repair of the system

    Original title: does not work for me repair system
    always do, the blue screen

    Hello, 55adan

    Since you are not able to access Safe Mode or perform a system repair, you will need to use your system recovery discs or Windows installation disc to reinstall Windows.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-Vista

    Please note that if you use a recovery disk, the contents of hard disks is cleared if you need to connect the drive to a working computer down all the files you need.

    If you have a Windows install disk, if you choose that a custom installation and DO NOT format the drive, your old files must all be placed in the folder C:\Windows.old. To protect against data loss, it is always recommended to recover all the data you want the drive first well.

  • Wow removed during repairs to the system and start-up

    Occurring on 12/31/09
    I play WoW, and it has been deleted from my computer for the next day that I restarted my computer because my computer has decided he could not start and tried to anchor it with a system restore. At that time WoW has been deleted, but there was still the user for wow on my c drive files? Anyone can shed some light on this? I have avg free and superantispyware free on my computer. I've constantly updated of these programs and run them.

    When you perform a system restore it will resume some parts of your system to a previous state. If you do not WoW more then just reinstall it. At least you do not have to reconfigure your settings (I hope).

    -Advanced options > recovery cd, repair, ect.

  • Satellite C660 - continues to enter the system repair

    Can someone help me?

    I have a Toshiba Satellite C660. Yesterday, it crashed. When it restarted, it went in the repair of the system and whenever I rebooted, it entered the system repair. Don't know if it is relivant but I get a windown come with drvload.exe back.

    So I did a factory restore hdd thinking this would clearly be the problem, but it didn't. Now I always get a repair system each time I do updates of mircosoft when I restart, more I can't hardly open programs like firefox, add and remove programs.

    I now use a check of HDD to see if I have bad sectors, have also scan mcfee which showed no virus.

    Any suggestions would be grateful because do not know what to try next.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

    > So I did a factory restore hdd thinking this would clearly be the problem, but it didn't.
    That would mean he s no malfunction of the software and the problem seems to be hardware related. HARD drive recovery can restore the original settings of the software box and they are pre-tested by Toshiba. So, theoretically, he could be sector failed HARD drive, RAM failure or something else

    > Now, I always get a repair system each time I do updates of mircosoft
    This would mean that the problem appears only after Windows update or I understand something wrong?

  • Is it possible to run the restore of the system from a command prompt?

    Plug;

    Dell Studio 540 Quad core 3, 2 GHz (don't remember exactly?) processor

    Ram 8BG

    Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

    In general, everything was working fine until I ran the auto update for Vista. I don't know exactly which updates made it crash (that's the downside to update automatic, I guess?), but what happens is;

    PC powers up correctly, and everything seems to be in order up to and including the connection procedures. Once connected, the first error message pops up saying: "Windows Explorer" is not working properly and has restart. This will make a loop again and again, and as long as the error is running, I'm not able to perform all actions either. The only thing I am able to do, is to run the Task Manager, but if I try to run applications, programs or processes there, the Task Manager itself is in need of a reboot. So, basically, the only action I can perform the Task Manager is turn off the PC safely.

    Helps out;

    Ran memory diagnostics, no error found.

    I ran system restore, not detected no results. (....) According to me, if I could run Vista system restore as soon as Windows Explorer is stable, I can choose a restore point prior to the restoration defined point in chest upward and it will solve the problem.

    I ran the repair of the system, but the PC does not recognize a problem, according to the definition, the start sequence works as it should.

    I ran the security modes to see if I can access previous system restore points, but like windows explore does that no action can be taken. It's the safe mode; Base drivers and base with network connection drivers.

    I ran the command line safe mode, that works very well, but don't really know what I can do from there.

    I have the option to reinstall the OS, but I hope a response must be made of this? My thought is;

    Is it possible to run the restore of the system from a command prompt? And if so, where is the path, finally, what should I do?

    This starts the system restore
    %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe

  • Recovery, the system failure - using the Command Prompt

    Windows vista OS and windows does not load. Automatic recovery system active at startup upward. No solution known thanks to this tool, and when I try to use one of the system recovery tools, none of them don't function. I went in F2 start and checked to see if he recongnized HD for this.  I don't have a windows vista startup disk system has been preloaded on acer laptop. can't even go back to a previous restore point. I checked the memory and it is 100% good. I have firewall and norton 2011 full security virus, so I think not only computer has been infected.

    I started in 'safe' mode and tried to use the restore point - no luck. tried to go in windows in safe mode - no luck.

    How do you use 'command prompt' computer startup tool and get in windows vista? What can I do using command prompt to check on this failure?  Thanks, ej.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

    to boot from the dvd drive to be able to you will see a way to get into the bios Setup at the bottom of the screen or command menu start

    It would be F2 or delete etc to enter the BIOS or F12 etc. for the start menu

    Change boot order it do dvd drive 1st in the boot order

    and if all else fails and you need to reinstall vista are the normal methods for computers preinstalled vista portable

    Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send vista recovery discs

    they do it for a nominal cost of $

    also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

    you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

    Ask them of the exact key sequence

  • Re: Need help for the restoration of the system

    Hi, I need help!

    I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite. I had some problems when trying to install some programs, some seem to fail. I wanted to clean the computer with system restore disc, only to find a record of 32-bit to a 64-bit computer.
    There is a repair of the setting system installed on the computer but it does not work, when I put it on disk, files, it cannot be opened.

    I can restore the system somehow repair; It must have been damaged by a virus. It should come with a big warning that the disk is not compatible!

    I have burned one day drive the first if I d just so you know! Any advice?

    Hello

    At first, I must say that you should tell us what model of laptop you have exactly.

    I put t know what cell phone you have and what you have with her, but in fact, it's that many laptops come with preinstalled OS 64-bit and 32-bit version on DVD.

    In this case, you must create own 64 bit preinstalled use Toshiba recovery media creator recovery DVDs. Alternatively, you can install 64-bit without DVD disk with HARD drive recovery option > http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm
    Of course, this will not work if you didn't change the factory settings.
    Try if it will work for you.

    At the end I would say that what I wrote is detailed described in the document s user manuals but I presume that you didn t read it, right?
