Repeat the mistake of Photoscreensaver.scr: "there is no disk in the drive. Insert a disc into drive \Device\Harddisk4\DR4.

I've looked everywhere to find a solution to this problem, but it will not go away.  the message I get is

"There is no disk in the drive. Insert a disc into drive \Device\Harddisk4\DR4.

I have only one hard drive installed, my C drive with a partition D of the spirit of the original plant. I would be very grateful is some has a fix for this!

Hello

This can happen if you have conencted some disk of the machine that has pictures and you have set up the photos in the screen saver.

You can try to change the photo screensaver can access the registry path if it exists.

a. Click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

b. navigate to the

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Gallery\Slideshow\Screensaver photo

c. If the screen saver is mentioned in the settings, then on the right you will see "FolderPath".

(d) the entry for folderpath should be C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Sample pictures

e. If isn't changing for the above entry.

f. exit the registry editor, restart the computer and check.

Important: The above mentioned steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. It is a non-essential process, and it is at the discretion of the user, whether to disable. If disabled buttons as scan in the 'all-in-one' continues to work. There is no disc in the drive please insert a disk into the drive device drive hard/dr3/dr4 etc etc.

    Original title: coordinator.exe no disc

I got this message after installing BitDefender antivirus.
It turned out to be partly because of WinPatrol - who had not been uninstalled.
And the program uninstal delete his entry autostart nor its program file.
Which has supported, manually, the end of the message...
But I guess that's not specific to WinPatrol, which is an excellent monitor if it is not in conflict with the antivirus.  (It worked well alongside Avast.)

  • Insert a disc in the drive \Device\Harddisk3\DR3?

very mysterious, that is if I delete as void / vi and replace it with artificial constants, it does the same thing.  I use breakpoints, step over and highlight the execution and cannot see what is causing the error, it's like there is a short circuit in the wiring itself (!).

    Hi KarlMaskery,

    1. When you receive the error message?

    2. you have any external hard drive connected to the computer?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

4 when was the last time it was working fine?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

I would like to install the HP c4380 for Windows 7 device driver (just the driver none of the other stuff (toolbar yahoo, etc.))

Anyone know where can I get this driver.

Download driver HP page provides the following

This download includes the HP Photosmart Software Suite and the driver. If you only want the print (without the Photosmart Software Suite) driver

Which suggests that a basic driver install is possible without giving the necessary information for the driver.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

For Windows 7, only a complete of software features available for download and not a basic package.

However, you can still install the drivers of base only.

    1. Download and run the full installer of features:

    2. At the conclusion of the license agreement, you will see 4 links above:
Click on the link 4 (software to install HP) and remove all optional components.
    3. Click OK and continue with the installation of the basic software.

  • Application popup: wercon.exe - disc no.: there is no disc in the drive. Insert a disc into drive F?

Not too sure about what to put in.

In any case, this message came earlier today (it is what it says in the event viewer), when I went to run reports on problems and solutions. F is a DVD writer (SATA A one). I replaced the IDE DVD the other day. What is the DVD has to do with this opening program? : why it needs a disc, before it will open?   If I click on continue, it will open / run. Its update. Its been scanned for viruses etc with MSE. And it's clean. Anyone know?

Any information appreciated. Vista x 64 is on it. Thank you

In the end, I had to format. Something weird / strange has happened. This version of Vista is legitimate, BUT no matter what I tried, (after), if I changed the b/g for a solid color (blue).

Which is what it was originally, it changed in black after I rebooted.

And no matter what has been started (originally, Inc. MSE), the programs were running, but no icons appear on the taskbar.

And Virtual PC has been installed (I had installed an XP ISO with him). But what happened, wiped away completely! (as I did a system restore). Only prob was, SR has been disabled at the time.

And all the programs that were in the menu disappeared (the ones I installed, not windows default programs). Though even they were still installed (their records were there)
