Repeat updates

I keep getting the same updates every day: security update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008 x 86 (KB2604121), does anyone know why this happens... they always install correctly

TIP: See paragraph .NET Framework specific to 4 first of all, the resolution method 2 (only!) on this page-online http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982

After the execution of the repair, given to zero & test.

Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

    Hi LC253,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities. The problem description, I understand that you are not able to install the update (KB2686509). Before you start the troubleshooting steps, I need the required information:

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         What is the full error message?

    ·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start, run.

    (b) type msconfigand click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

Method 4: Follow the steps in the article.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

You can also see this article for more information.

You cannot install some programs or updates

Note: You must take the backup of the data before performing any installation of Windows.

If please follow the methods and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.
