  Hi Peter, to activate different bars on and outside, including the Menu bar, you can use one of the following methods to view the list of the toolbar, and then select the desired bar (s) there:

  • Right click on a place empty on the tab bar (or the button '+')
  • Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > view > toolbars
  • in customize mode > show/hide toolbars (see: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars)

  To activate the menu bar, toolbar bookmarks or other bars, click it in the list.

  Is - that you are looking for?

  If something isn't quite right, it is possible that an extension has been tweaking the menu/toolbar area...

  Take a look at the first serial number you posted...

  The 4th character from the left is the year of manufacture.

  In the first case, it is either 2005, 2015 according to the model (that would be obvious based on the hardware of the laptop has, or when you bought).

  The characters of 5th and 6th from the left indicate the week of manufacture.

  If you need to take another look at the first serial number because 3-b is probably a 38 (which means the 38th week of the year).  Like all the others who have two numbers in the 5th and 6th places.

  The 38th week of the year is sometime in September.

  I've updated to Firefox 4.01 today and the Center knob on my Lenovo T400 does more. I downloaded the updated Ultranav utility and the Ultranav driver for my T400 by http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-72858.html , then uninstalled the 'Thinkpad Ultranav Driver' to add/remove programs, rebooted and then installed the update utility and driver (another reboot) and now it works perfectly.

  So happy to get it working again.

  Forgive the intrusion, but in the interest of your safety, I asked guests to consider amending the private details you gave here.   It is very unwise to include them on a public forum and can lead to receive you spam of nuisance or worse still.   That includes people telloing you're beta registered.

  Ive checked all the settings and Yes is checked so that it can vibrate when a message is received, but nothing happens. I also checked that works of vibration function and it seems to be good when you use something like the handcent app. Any suggestions on how to make it vibrate again using basic sms application or disable notifications for the application of sms by default when a sms is received would be greatly appreciated

  So even if you have "checked" box in your settings so that it can vibrate, now you must get in your 'message' folder, and once you're there and see the messages text, e-mail, facebook, or what you have, you then click on the "4-square" button on the phone and press "e-mail settings" then choose text or electronic mail messaging etc., then you will be able to choose notifications or vibrate and make sure that is checked.

  That was my problem, it has not been verified. could be the problem, if this isn't the case, return the phone and get a brand new!
