After replacing the black ink cartridge, I cannot print and the printer does not recognize my action. I had a printer who worked three days ago and now with the diagnoses, I wonder to load Smartweb print disc which I did not.

Can I get a support phone number to get this problem resolved?

    the 56-57 cartridge combo is probably used by another printer and so packed together.

    I have no problem with printing from the desktop wired or wireless laptop. But every time I print something this error appears in the Print Service event log.

    I found that the event ID 315 with error 2114 is a synchronization problem.  When I turn on the printer to the computer before, I get this error in the event log.  If I start first to the computer, and then turn on the printer, the error disappears.

  • DeskJet 932C, you can print with just replace the black ink cartridge?

    My question is basically simple.  The printer DeskJet 932C can operate with only black ink?  Color ink was empty for a while now, but the printer kept working, printing in black and white.  Due to the cost of the ink and the absence of any income available, we just changed the black ink cartridge.  The problem now is that the printer will not print not even black and white.  Do I have to scrape some funds to replace the color ink cartridge, or y at - it another way to get the printer working with just the new black cartridge?

    Your printer can print in black only, but up to a certain point , you need tri-cartouche color otherwise it will not print. It's a little late now, otherwise if you only need to print B & W, a monochrome laser printer is very good and much cheaper to run (in terms of cost per page).

    I am trying to print the darkest possible black, but simply by using the black ink cartridge. How do I get there?

    My printer is HP deskjet 1000 J110 using cartridge HP 301.

    I do my drawing in Adobe Illustrator and set the color to be CMYK 100 100 100 100.

    If I insert only the black cartridge, the printer will leave empty place where color CMY ink should be or it will fill the space with black ink?

    Basically, what I'm trying to do is to increase the density of ink to the highest possible but only using only the black cartridge.

    You can use the mode single-cartridge:

    Use single-cartridge in the HP printer with a single cartridge. Mode single-cartridge begins when an ink cartridge is removed from the distribution of the print cartridge. In the mode single-cartridge, the product can only printing from the computer.

    You cannot use a black cartridge in both slots. The print head channels are different for print 3 colors in a slot vs only black print out on each other. Using black in the two slots certaining most will cause errors and possibly damage the printer.

    Is there a reason you want to run the two blacks to be with? You can still print with only the back cartridge installed.

    What seems to be the issue. His are more in there or something like that? If so, check the icon on top of the cartridge, it should be a Hexagon, if you want to mount a "bow tie" it does not, since it is a photocartridge that is not supported by your printer.

    With printing black ink is not like that, there are only a few things you can try, and it looks like you did most of them. If the steps described in the following paper the link did not help, then you might make a physical print head cleaning. Bob_Headrick gave the steps to do this in the post below. If none of this does not work, you can either replace the printhead by contacting the support of HP, or you will need to replace the printer. If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out.
