There is no such thing as 'pilot of memory'. Please explain exactly what that
you mean and how do you know that you need to replace anything.

BTW why they made it so difficult to get just to the battery in this model?

Thanks for these videos. It may be useful to replace the memory, but I think that the owners of the laptop should not open the case. This may void the warranty.
    Be careful about this.

  • Can I replace the memory and not lose what is on the old memory for a Mid 2007 Mack computer desktop Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GHz processor speed, 1 CPU, 4 MB of Cache L1, the 4 GB memory at 800 MHz bus speed.  Only 1 slot can play memory, the other is damaged

Can I replace the memory and not to lose what's on the memory of the former?  I have a Mid 2007, 20 "desktop Mac, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GHz processor, 1 CPU, 4 MB L2 cache, 4 GB of memory, 800 MHz bus speed.  I have a backup device.  A RAM slot is damaged.

You are confused of RAM and disk space available.

RAM stores information temporarily while the Mac is enabled and the application is reached. RAM replacement has no effect on the long term of your information storage.

The hard drive is where your information is stored in the long term. If you replace your hard drive, you need restore the information from a backup.

FYI, for your iMac, the maximum RAM is only 6 GB.

    Hello

There is not much to explain. On the low side in the Middle it is placed to cover memory (fixed with two screws). Remove the cover and you will see 2 slots there. I put t know how much memory you here but like Stefan says you can use max 2 GB of RAM (2 x 1024Mo PC2700 - PA3313U-1M1G). • Satellite L50 - B - 1 HM - how to replace the memory module?

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite L50 B - 1 HM, product number: PSKTAE 072017CE. It has 8 GB of RAM but is expandable to 16 GB.

My question is, should I buy a 8 GB memory module? (and I would add up to 16 GB).
Or should I buy a 16 GB memory module to completely replace the memory of 8 GB?

Memory 8 GB Toshba module I've found is the following: P000577360

    Thanks in advance

    Kind regards

    Hello

Googling around, I found also specification for your model of laptop and if I understand it is just your machine can be upgraded up to 16 GB for you can use 2x8GB.

Compatible 8 GB of RAM for your machine has PA5104U-1M8G part number.

I n t have this model of laptop, so I put t know if there is coverage of RAM placed on the lower side of your laptop. If this isn't the case, RAM could be placed under the keyboard so RAM upgrade must be performed by the Toshiba service provider. Removal of material or to open the case of the laptop on your own is the warranty.

    Be careful about this.

  • How to manually replace the HDC drivers

Recently, I installed my hard drive into a new computer. This hard drive has partitions 14.04 Kubuntu and Windows 7 (32-bit) and the GRUB bootloader. Kubuntu starts and runs without problems, but Windows bluescreens when booting, giving code STOP 7 b (0x80786A50, 0xC00000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) which means I have the defective drivers of HDC.

As a result, the startup repair fails (StartupRepairOffline) and can not find a cause. Safe mode also fails. System Restore is not an option, so please don't tell me to use it.

I can, however, open a system recovery command prompt. I know that I can change the registry, but I have limited capabilities. I can't open control.exe ("this file doesn't have a program associated with it for performing this action.") I can also change the Windows of Kubuntu partition if necessary.

How can I fix the HDC drivers? My motherboard is an ASUS M5A97 THE R2.0. The hard drive is a HP Pavilion G4, but it has been installed in several computers. However I want to emphasize that this is NOT a hardware problem; Kubuntu is executed without error. It's a driver problem and I will be very surprised to hear otherwise.

Don't tell me not to reinstall Windows, use system restore, use the Startup Repair, use sfc/scannow, use chkdsk, set the SATA mode in the BIOS, use a CD to repair, or make everything about the start menu. I have spent enough time searching the Internet (and tried all the solutions said) to know for sure that my problem lies in the drivers, and I will reinstall NOT Windows unless I don't know that there is no way to replace them.

How to replace the drivers without using Device Manager?

    Quite a few restrictions there.

By "installed my hard drive into a new computer", you reinstall Windows or have you just tried to use the old installation?

If you have not installed Windows 7 fresh on the new system, it is likely that many drivers is not compatible with the new material.   A way to transfer the disc would have been to run Sysprep before removing the old system.

The HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) is looking for old hardware.

You can try the following but it may be applicable.  Your new motherboard has ACHI?

  • Satellite A300D PSAH8A replace the memory module

    Hi, everyone, I have a satellite A300D *(PSAH8A-01K00H) has only 2 G of RAM.
I want to upgrade my RAM to 4 G, but not very well what RAM (I mean DDR2 or DDR3), how fast is compatible with the motherboard)

Someone can give me some advice or a website to find its material information, would be much appreciated thanks in advance.

    Lee

    Hi mate

Notebook´s RAM upgrade depends on the chipset.
Means that you should check the properties of the chipset.

But as far as I know the laptop must support 4 GB of RAM, and AFAIK you could use DDR2 modules RAM 800 MHz.

PS: this information must also be placed in the user's manual. Then maybe you should check this too ;)

    Welcome them

  • PowerEdge 2950 reporting & quot; E2119 Fatal SB Mem CRC & quot; before and after the replacement of the memory.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone else has fallen on this.

The server is a PowerEdge 2950 II chips running 8 X 2 GB server and recently presented the E2119 Fatal SB Mem CRC error. A reading of the article and seemed to replace the memory would be to delete it.

I replaced the server memory with ram from another PE 2950 II who worked the night last and this morning its generators again errors.

Someone at - it recommendations on what else to do? I thought maybe is it time to replace the motherboard, but I wasn't sure.

Also to clarify, the server was closed and not connected during the memory swap for about 8 minutes. (I gave more time to erase everything).

Is memory I replaced it with that which comes from another server who has worked for a few years with no problems whatsoever.

    Thanks guys and girls!

You are fine with version 2.7. Clear the log material via the CTRL-E Drac/ESM prompt at startup then and let me know how it goes.

  • Portege M780 - how to upgrade the memory?

I have a M780. I wanted to move to 8 GB. But if I open the memory module, I can find a slot for the memory. How can I access the other get 2 x 4 GB?

As they seem to be similar to the M750, maybe it's the same thing with the M750 and someone can answer this question. Unable to find a service manual for the M750 / M780 either.

    Hi schuerstedt,

Really, you ask where the other memory module location?
The user manual is not interesting for you right?

Well, if you check the user manual, you can find an exact description how replace the memory sticks with lots of photos.
    Check this box!

BTW, the other location is placed under the keyboard.

  • Question about the memory of the speeds on Qosmio G30-175

    Hi all

I have a G30 - 175 and it came with 1gig of memory. and the other day I went to pc world and bought a 2 giga upgrade. The seller asked me what memory speed would I like for my laptop, knowing that the ddr2 at 533 mhz memory, so I asked for it.

When I came home and replaced the memory, I noticed that the memory supplied with the laptop was actually s pc2-4200 ddr2 533 mhz. the memory that I got from pc world was of the pc2-4300 ddr2 at 533 mhz.

It would be allowed to go ahead and install this memory, or should I expect pc2-4200?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I would recommend using DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200) 200 - PIN SODIMM as here on this page:

  • Pavilion 15p142n: how to decrease the memory assigned material

We (my wife and I) also have two laptops same.

Pavilion 15-p142n, AMD - A10, 12 GB of Ram and separate video card (no video memory on Board / shared?).

One of the portable is slower than the other and after inspection, I think I found the problem.

    8 GB is "assigned to the material" (the laptop faster has same hardware but only)<1Gb "assigend="" to="" hardware")="" so="" the="" slow=""  notebook="" only="" uses="" 4gb="" effective="">

When I go to the BIOS Setup, I see that there are 12 GB installed, but I can't change the setting of memory.

In another forum I read that switching from the memorymodules could possibly solve the problem. they did very dificult to everyone but the modules, there are now easy access puts on the back of the laptop.

So I hope that there is a more reliable medium easier number, more to the disassemble laptop full, to set up the RAM.

    regarding kind.

    Your Godecke (Netherlands)

    Hello @TonGodecke,

Other that to replace the memory, as previously explained, there are not many options available.  If this doesn't work, your device is capable of 16 GB of memory.  Maybe you can replace the 4 GB with 8 GB?  You can also contact HP phone support, to see if there are additional options.

Please use the following http://www.hp.com/contacthp and create a folder for your question and contact HP. If you do not live in the United States / Canada, please click on the link below to get contact information for your region.

  • Satellite C660-1F1 - Question about newer drivers and the speed of the memory

Some of the drivers for this laptop are outdated compared to the most recent drivers on peripheral manufacters website. Is it safe to use these new drivers or is it recommended to stick with the old drivers that are on the Toshiba site?

And second question: is it possible to make the fastest possible working memory supported? Don t BIOS options include options for the parameters of memory. Why the memory is running as low mhz in case of default? CPU - Z shows that the current frequency of dram is 532, 2 mhz. What is the maximum, it is at 667 mhz? Probably she can´t be 1 066 MHz as promised in the specs?

    Hi cryogenized,.

    > Some of the drivers for this laptop are outdated compared to the most recent drivers on peripheral manufacters website. Is it safe to use these new drivers or is it recommended to stick with the old drivers that are on the Toshiba site?
Why you want to update your drivers? Do you expect a gain of performance with newer drivers?

Way General, with official Toshiba drivers you are on the safe side because they are pre-tested. If you can make sure that they work properly and don t cause property damage. Install the other drivers happens on your own risk!

    > And second question: is it possible to make the fastest possible working memory supported? Don t BIOS options include options for the parameters of memory. The laptop is equipped with modules of DDR3 1066 MHz and the RAM speed is dependent on the FSB of the processor. If your CPU is throttling down, RAM modules will work also on low speed. On a high utilization of the processor (100%) the RAM modules must run with speed of 1066 MHz I think.

Can I change the new memory and at the same time to replace the Rams?

If a MacBook Pro RAM and drvie hard can be modified/improved depends on the submodel and we do not know yours. There are dozens of variations of the MacBook Pro issued since 2006, and you do not want guessing us!

Please do "about this Mac" in your Apple menu to get this:

Notice the line that I have highlighted with the red arrow. Please tell us what your computer has in the thr same place. However, do not post any serial number.

With the exact submodel we can better advise you of any available upgrade paths.
